- The Albergo Del Sole was so empty due to the weather that Angelo and Illiana, the proprietors, moved me to a sister full service hotel in Sulmona called Holiday. They were accommodating and gracious. Offered free wine and a meal for my troubles.

- The bed was awful. I wasn't able to sleep. The hotel is very much dated and is in desperate need of refurbishment.
- Room was old fashioned and quite basic but comfortable. Shower was cramped
- The Hotel Holiday provided all needed services. It was well maintained and the room service was excellent. I was completely satisfied with accommodations. I was less satisfied with the weather as temperatures were unseasonably cold and it rained constantly, these were the same weather patterns that severely impacted Italy this week.

The hotel is close reach to Monte Pratello where we did ski lessons for the kids in the morning and kindergarden on the slopes in the afternoon. Friendly stuff with children and adult entertainment, lots of good Italian food and spacious room, warm and accomodating. Also outdoor playing area. Will visit again, would highly recommend.
