Location, staff, rooms.

The breakfast food was quite disappointing. Quality was off. Breads, cheeses, beverages were good but fruit was subpar, eggs were cold and no seafood in sight!

Things were broken, such as toilet paper dispenser or parts of the spa.

The view and location are unbeatable

The view from the balcony was amazing! The location was fantastic! The hotel rooms were spacious and comfy. The breakfast was very good.

I wish there would have been a concierge desk to help first time guests with planning excursions and to give feedback. The front desk personal were very nice but busy a lot of the times. A 5 star resort - would have a concierge desk. I wish indoor pool would have been bigger. They did say small indoor pool - it was definitely small - more like a hot tub and when I went to use it - there was a group of about 20 people celebrating "a soon to be bride"...and it was very loud in there. It was also really hard to book a service at the SPA due to limited appointments. Maybe stress - book spa appointments ahead of time to the clients. And the only other thing that I did not like. The outdoor pool deck is not that big. Smoking is allowed on the deck - I guess. Despite the fact that I was no where near the person smoking - the breeze took the smoke over my way and I decided to leave given the fact that I despise the smell of smoke.

All rooms have a sea view. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Great location.

The staff was very kind and the place is super comfortable and clean! The view was amazing! I cannot wait to come back!

Parking could be a challenge during peak season. Breakfast could offer some more fruits and Portuguese items instead of the English ones... more ovos moles, less beans & bacon!

- A buffet dinner in the hotel's restaurant was bad, whatever we tried was not tasty. Go to any restaurant on the beach below the hotel, the dinner will be better (and cheaper).- The room was equipped with the machine for expresso coffee, it took some time to get an electric kettle from housekeeping. But it is a small thing in comparison with otherwise perfect room and the stunning view from the balcony, breakfast room, and even the elevator that has an ocean view!

The place was amazing, from location to staff to the breakfast buffet and the amazing ocean views. I look forward to staying again next time a longer visit the town / village itself also amazing.

Requested the beds be made together , thru email at time of booking, was told not possible only was possible for suite , Then at check-out was told the beds could of been made as 1 . Many hotels throughout Portugal do make beds as 1 together . Being only night was not a major issue ,though if my simple Request would have been honored, I would have rated a 10 all around .

Deluxe sea view room had view over big building, inconsiderate customer service.

I had booked a deluxe sea view room which showed full sea view on the photos on booking.com, but upon check-in, I was given a room with only a partial side view, primarily overlooking another large building. I contacted reception to request a change and was asked to return to reception with all my luggage.The second room had a proper sea view but was located directly above the hotel bar, and cigarette smoke was drifting into the room. I informed reception and clearly stated that I am pregnant and could not remain in a room smelling of smoke. In response, they sent someone with a strong chemical spray to treat the room—a solution I had to decline, as exposure to such chemicals is unsafe during pregnancy. Despite making my situation clear, no alternative room was initially offered.Eventually, I was moved to a different room—one of the hotel’s older suites. While it was dark and less modern, it was at least free from cigarette smoke.Overall, I found the experience distressing. The lack of consideration for my condition and the repeated inconvenience were unacceptable. I would not return to this hotel and cannot recommend it.

Room had a balcony to enjoy the beach view. Breakfast was wonderful with plenty of selection and tables had a sea view.

There was a bad odor on our balcony some of the time- smelled like sewage ☹️

The location is good, right in front of the beach and close to the city center. The access is a bit tricky, as the parking lot is a public, multi-storey parking lot and it was confused to find the hotel entrance. The room was big and had a nice view of the beach. The bed was comfortable.

The negative aspects were that the room was not available when we checked in (it was available only at 4:20pm - i.e. 20min past the check-in time. Also, the room was smelly (as if it was cleaned with dirty towels). The shower had no water pressure at all!!! It was very difficult to remove the shampoo/conditioner from the hair. The pool was very dirty. The spa is very small and kids are allowed, making it impossible to relax. The steamer/sauna and the Turkish bath were turned off. I would not consider it a 5-star hotel.

The views and pool were fantastic.

The room air conditioner did not work and we did have the balcony door closed. A few of the outlets were tripped and did not work.

The staff was beyond accommodating and welcoming! From our first day to the last. Unforgettable experience and views! The food and daily breakfast was also beyond our expectations. I would also like to give a special shout out to the cleaning person who checked and tidied our room daily! You can’t possibly know just how much you went above and beyond and it’s truly appreciated!

The only negative was the traffic/construction noise near by.

Outstanding location right in front of the beach. Big , confortable rooms, attentive staff.

Great amenities and location! Beautiful pool and amazing views. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

Would be nice to have Netflix on the TV or to be able to connect the phone to the TV.

Amazing location. The hotel has an entrance that gets directly to the beach! If you want to go to the old and historic part of town, is also a short walk away. Also, the staff is super nice and helpful.

Superb position overlooking the beach! Spacious room with very comfortable bed and great shower! Good restaurant and bar, refreshing outdoor pool. Nothing to dislike!

The hotel is situated in a beautiful location. Fabulous hotel. On the website, it said the main restaurant is only open from Wednesday to Sunday, so as we were there on a Tuesday, we went out for dinner. Later that night, a bar staff told us the restaurant was open. We said well they should let their guests know and update their website."" That was disappointing as we had wanted to eat there.Also, the bed is not a 5 star bed! They really need to upgrade their pillows. Otherwise, it's a gorgeous place to stay.
