Pros +
- Oh my goodness the view from our balcony was amazing. Right across from the beach and marina it was a beautiful place to experience the city and views. Walk ability of the city was great.
- Location
- From start to finish, the experience was amazing. You can't get a better location—it's right in front of the port.Great mattresses, long enough for those of us over 6'1"! The superior room was fantastic, and the price was unbeatable (though, to be fair, it was low season). Still, I’ve never stayed at a hotel with this level of quality for this price.Super clean rooms, good water pressure in the shower, spotless bathrooms, two sets of towels, a fridge, a table, outlets on both sides of the bed—cozy and, most importantly... stunning sea views with big terraces. If there were coffee or tea in the room… it’d be pure bliss!
Cons -
- I chose this place because they had parking on site. It was impossible to find the parking or how to get to the hotel to check in. I ended up parking 10 mins away and walking to check in. When I asked about the parking they didn't offer the property parking but the public one about 5 mins away which was ok cuz that is free.
- The town is 1960/70 architecture not attractive and uninspiring eateries Made the wrong choice of where to stay
- The WiFi signal kept cutting out, which made my work call drop.

The WiFi signal kept cutting out, which made my work call drop.
It was clean and spacious. The beds and shower were good. Various restaurants and breakfast options nearby.
Very clean, amazing location, free car park, staff so lovely and kind, breakfast was delicious
we stayed 1 night and on the 2nd night we got moved to another hotel of the company due to an electrical issue, they were very kind however we were moved to the city and there was no car park and it was a 3 star.
Location,location.
Rust in the bathtub, mirror in the bathroom with “black spots” all arround it, room safe located on the floor, dirty appearance in the outside, in our room; one light bulb off and an inoperable lamp, weak wifi signal. Old outdated/worn out sitting in lobby and social room, hallways carpets worn out.
rooms good staff very goodbut almost killed bring the motorbike to the underground carpark.the entrance was straight down and wet (it was raining) the surface was slippery and the bike slipped and fell on my kegmy ankle was protected by my boot otherwise I would have a broken ankle
Great view great location great breakfast Great service
We just stay a day…
Friendly and helpful staff. Incredible ocean view. Very comfy bed.
Bathroom could use regrouting, and pillows refreshing. Otherwise very clean.
comfy beds, quiet room, nice swimming pool and bar, great tapas, free parking,
wifi signal very weak, £10 deposit for pool towel, very poor quality of breakfast for 4*hotel, not too much choices
The staff were very friendly and helpful. One helped me with translation when my car broke down.Great location overlooking the sea and harbour. Literally across the road to the beach. I fell in love with Candás and stayed an extra two nights.
Parking was 5 minutes walk away.
The old girl does need some love and maintenance, but besides that my room was very spacious (I was in a supreme/deluxe double bed something) and had everything you need.Desk, safe, TV, fridge, hairdryer, two small balconies, with an amazing view of the harbour and they Atlantic.
Somethings were a little worn out.The bath had been repaired badly (rust hole), the hairdryer was half melted away, mold in the corners (bathroom). A burn mark in the middle of the room floor, balcony doors difficult to close. It just needs some good maintenance.
Secure parking, and a comfortable room with a great view.
Entrance/exit to the garage on a motorcycle was precarious.
Great location, very helpful staff. Beds were more than comfortable. Amazing view from through the window :)
The reception staff was very friendly- helped with various questions, gave advice, provided us with a heater and extra blankets, etc. In general the breakfast was good. It was nice to have a balcony in the room. The bed was comfy.I am very thankful that our group could check in earlier. We spent 13 hours on the road, so it was very important for us.
My single room was too small. The lighting was not enough. I was on a business trip, so in order to work I lacked proper light on the ceiling. The breakfast was nice, but I wish it offered something more saturated, like eggs, or potato pie.I think the bathrooms during the stay should be cleaned more thoroughly. And definitely there should be done something about the toilet itself, because in my room it hardly flushed.
Location, breakfast and staff
Poor maintenance. Old furniture, noisy bed, old carpet in hallways, wood frames/worn is broken off , room safe in the back of the closet Almost ground level. Could not reach it.
Staff where really amazing especially those who where ya the front desk , really made our stay and hotel was very clean and breakfast was delicious
Great views, just by the sea. Nice room. Comfy.
Air-con not great. No soap or shampoos/shower gels in the room.
Wonderful location, we could see the sunrise from the window of the room that was big and comfortable. The beach was at walking distance, as well as many places to eat.
The room have enough space for an 4 stars hotel and bathroom is ok.
The wals in the hotel are old and have marks almost on all places. The furniture is old and not to an 4 stars hotel. There is only one elevator and is not so comfortable to wait so many minutes until you can use it. The breakfast was not to an 4 stars hotel level, maximum to an 3 stars. Has potential for an 4 stars but now is only on a 3 stars level.
