Ntouana hotel

The rooms were clean, beds were comfy, the location was close to the marina and a 15 minute walk to Kalamata Beach. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts were great! 10/10 would stay here again!

Rooms were clean and had everything necessary. The breakfast was amazing! Staff were very friendly.

One of our rooms faced the street and was rather noisy. Also, no parking is provided, although we easily found a spot on the back of the block on which the hotel sits.

The ladies were nice at breakfast. Self check-in easy. Great location.

Shower is broken. Was already broken in previous reviews. It's just a small hole on the pipe. Fix the thing for €5 come on.

how it was operated, although it is mentioned as a hotel it does not have a reception and it does not have entrance control. it operates like and ArBnB, they send you a code to get the keys. If someone else does not put the keys back of the central entrance you can not get in. In addition it was not clean, the bathroom had hair on the floor and I found two small cockroaches alive inside.

Well located.

Not easy check in, place is in front of a big garbage dump.

We have stayed at this hotel on 3 occasions over the years and this time, as usual we were not disappointed. It is near the sea, parking is difficult but you can find in the surrounding streets. The breakfast is superb and the staff attentive.

Comfortable room, very nice breakfast, the two ladies who run the hotel are very friendly and helpful. Just a two-minute walk to the sea, with plenty of cafés and restaurants around

A small and cozy hotel in a neoclassical style (for those, who like a touch of the past) with a very friendly staff (two ladies). So, if you don't like hotels that are big, sterile and impersonal, then Ntouana hotel is the right choice for you.

Comfortable, nicely decorated hotel near the waterfront. Kalamata is a good base to spend a few days poking around the southern Peloponnese.

But worth noting that the city is a more or less normal port/marina town. There’s excellent seafood to be had but it’s not a place you’d spend long doing tourism.

We felt deceived regarding the information given on Booking.com about this hotel. One of the basic issues is SAFETY as the hotel's bedrooms are on the street level without any protection. This hotel is definitely NOT A FOUR-STAR hotel. Its facilities are for a two-stars hotel. There's no reception, no room service, no bar, no restaurant, no kettle. The furniture is old, worn-out, dust falls from the curtains when you draw them, needless to say, that there are no window screens, it's no sound proof, you can hear everyone and everything that goes on in the street next to you.We were sent a message how to enter the hotel, like the Airbnb places , luckily there was a lady to let us in and give us the hotel's key for entering -no reception-and the bedroom's key. From that time on , no hotel's personnel, e.g. reception, room service, was to be found. We needed an extra pillow and a kettle so we called them , there was no response.Too expensive , comparing value to price.

The right place to stay in Kalamata seaside. Excellent location, friendly staff, adorable room and very comfortable bed. Parking available right across to the building.

We booked 2 rooms. We didn't stay at the hotel after discovering what appeared to be dead bed bugs on the sheets of room #2. We arrived at around 4pm and left at around 7pm. I booked the hotel because I have stayed there in the past and liked it.

Room #2 had what appeared to be dead bed bugs on the sheets. No staff at the hotel to help, the front desk was not staffed and after repeatedly ringing the bell on the desk we packed up and vacated the rooms. We wouldn't have stayed in any case as we no longer felt comfortable with the standards of cleanliness. I messaged the hotel but received no response. Customer Service at Booking.com has also failed to follow up. No refund offered even though we vacated without staying at the property. Definitely not a 4-star hotel.
