great location to the black beach, just 5 mins drive, perfect room and views, i saw northern light at this hotel, very quiet and comfortable room, car just park outside the room

The location and how quiet the rooms were, did not hear neighbors

Staff were not welcoming...acted like it was a job they didn't care about.--didn't even take away used washclothes from one day to the next. Quality of materials in room seemed low, door locks were difficult to figure out and didn not work well.

The studio apartments were spotless, tasteful, comfortable and had an incredibly beautiful view. It was really nice to have a kitchen set up (electric kettle, silverware, pots, plates, etc), sofa, and table with chairs.. Shower was great. I wish I could've stayed for longer.

The view is incredible and the location is perfect for our on the move itinerary. Bathroom spacious.

A little challenging in the summer with no air conditioning and the sun out 24 hours a day. We found we had to make a call between having the curtains drawn or having the window open so that we could get some air, but we couldn’t do both.We understand that it doesn’t make sense to have air-conditioning here, but maybe having a couple fans in the room would make sense during the summer.

Everything! It was an absolute pleasure to stay here. The accommodation was super clean, spacious, so peaceful with a beautiful view. We will be back! :)

Beautiful

Bathrooms stunk like the icky cleaning toilet scrub they had sitting there. Pull out couch extremely uncomfortable.

Gorgeous, modern room with all of the amenities. Can’t think of anything they have missed. I loved the location right near Black Beach.

Someone left the window open in the bathroom before we checked in and we had to spend a couple of hours trying to g to kill them all. Other than that, it was fantastic.

Loved the actual space, including the dedicated mudroom. The bed was super comfortable (way better than our last hotel) and the kitchenette had everything we needed. Great location near Vik!

The only note we had was that the bathroom had a funky smell. Was not sure if it was the air freshener or the septic but it was funky.

Gorgeous unit with an incredible view. Loved the convenience of the kitchenette. Parking was free. Check in was quick.

Great location for the black sand beach and the glacier. close to town for food and fuel.

We hope there would be laundry facilities on site. Not a big deal but would have been helpful.

The room was amazing, and so was the bathroom. Everything clean and staff was nice. The view of the northern lights from this place is incredible.

Lovely one bedroom unit, beachside, though the actual sand beach is a long way off. Very clean and spacious.

The staff were so friendly. I really liked that they offered a happy hour with reduced drink prices. Also, they offered bar food for purchase past 8:00 pm. The villa itself was very nice as well as the view!

I have absolutely no complaints other than I did pay a premium to stay there. It is also a popular place to stay so book early!

It was amazing across the board. Modern and on brand with the volcanic beaches. Quiet and beautiful scenery. And just minutes from Vik/Reynfjara by car. 10/10 recommend.

nothing really--just Iceland is super expensive by nature so that is the only thing, but it's universal to everywhere there.
