Hotel Kleopatra Inn

Rooms were nice….bed was very comfortable…and staff were friendly. Breakfast was Great.

Good clean hotel with good breakfast. A good choice for an overnight stay if travelling through the region.

Some noise from local dogs barking, and rather rough part of town, although only a short drive to centre for restaurants.

1. Bed linen not good as they use sheets with duvet instead of duvet covers, very uncomfortable.2. Door knob malfunctioning to the point of not been able to open from the inside, a bit dangerous.

The Kleopatra Inn is perfectly situated for a late flight arrival - that was our need. You could easily use it as a base for visiting several ancient/historic sites. Our room was a family suite with lots of space - very comfortable.

Soundproofed rooms, comfortable beds!Parking is easily possible directly at main entrance.Air conditioner was significantly better here than at many other hotels.Everything is quite modern and fancy.

Promise of ocean view on booking.com was disguiding. There was no ocean view at all.Not enough fruits at breakfast. No vegan milk-alternative.Despite soundproofed rooms, you can hear morning-alarm-vibrations of your neighbor's cellphone.

The staff was very kind and helpful. Cleaning was extremely good. Breakfast as well. Location was also very good. Room comfortable and spacious.

The staff were VERY understanding and helpful. My wife had mobility problems after a fall. They found us a room on the ground floor near reception that proved to be spot on.

Evening meals on site would have been appreciated. That said, the receptionist recommended a restaurant not far away which was excellent, so no reason to be put off staying here again, which we might actually think worthwhile being so close to Kalamata Airport.

What a lovely hotel this is. Everything feels very fresh, clean and well cared for.. Comfortable bed, great water pressure in the shower, very clean. The staff at this hotel are very welcoming and friendly as well. Excellent breakfast with a lot of variety and great coffee. I'll definitely stay here again. And the town is a great spot for exploring the area and it isn't touristy at all!

A comfortable hotel very close to Kalamata Airport. The room was spacious and well-furnished. Comfy bed and good shower room. Really nice breakfast. Excellent restaurants a short walk away.

I was at the hotel to spend a before a flight home, my flight was late the following day so I asked if I could stay in their public areas with bags until I took a taxi to the airport? I was offered extra time free of charge in my room, they stored bags, gave me wonderful cold water (unasked for) fresh figs, advice on how to get to town, where to eat when there and how to get a taxi home. All this was volunteered to help me pass my time before leaving Greece. They made me a snack, offered to turn on tv/video for me to watch, they couldn't have done more. The breakfast was wonderful, traditionally Greek but with twists and loads of it. You could eat inside or in the cool gardens of the hotel......this is a rave review, they were fantastic, kind, spoke good English and beyond it for helpfulness.

The staff were very friendly. The room was spacious and clean.

The Messene area is not great for hotels, and Kleopatra is definitely one of the better places that you can stay. Just be aware that it is on the main road that has lots of traffic -- I did not realize this -- and request at your booking time a room facing the back of the hotel so you don't hear the trucks go by. Even though I hadn't requested a back-facing room, they thankfully gave us one. The view was not great (looking out onto rather junky backyards) but I so appreciated not being on the street. The manager of the hotel is tirelessly helpful and kind. The facility itself is clean, modern (elevator!), well-maintained. The room was fairly large by Greek standards and very comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding (he made us fried eggs to order).

In retrospect, I would have rather stayed two nights in Kardymili, using it as a base for visiting the Mani and ancient Messene. (Things are much closer in actuality on the Peloponnese than it seems when you are planning from afar.)

The breakfast was not served until 730am.We booked this because the proximity to the airport. We had a taxi scheduled to pick us up at 7:15am. Accommodation made no effort or offer to put out any food earlier… Poor hospitality. THE PILLOWS IN THE ROOM ARE DREADFUL – WAY TO THICK. Neither of us had a good sleep.
