The hotel was clean, warm and inviting. Looks are deceiving - though it may look a tad old from the outside, inside it is modern and equiped with all the facilities of a great hotel. The breakfast for such a small place was outstanding as well, with everything from bacon and eggs to a waffle machine on offer. Definitely worth a stop.

Very good location, breakfast was really good (eggs, bacon, beans, waffles, fruits, toasts, coffee, juices and more!), also very good value. The night of our stay we were able to see the northern lights from our window and outside!

I did not know before we arrived, but you’re not allowed to eat of any kind in your room. If you eat in your room, you will be charging an additional day to your stay for eating in the room.. this was not a dealbreaker for us, but it would’ve been useful knowledge to know before we had arrived.

Excellent location for sight seeing in the south. Clean comfortable rooms. Very close to the waterfalls so we were able to enjoy them without crowds in the evening and early morning. Recommend and would stay again.

Good location if you don’t want to make the trip all the to vik from golden circle in one day. Breakfast is simple but good. The waffles were a good touch.

Don’t let the outside fool you—this place is a hidden gem!Step inside and you’ll be pleasantly surprised by how spotless everything is. The rooms are wonderful and the beds are incredibly comfortable! Breakfast was absolutely wonderful, with a great selection and fresh flavors to start the day right. What really made the stay special was the staff: warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Highly recommended!

Great location for a day trip to the Westman Islands and other attractions in southern Iceland. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. This hotel is in the countryside, beautifully surrounded by fields of lupine and offers a direct view of Eyjafjallajökull and Seljalandsfoss. The room had only one spot for a suitcase and there were two of us. We improvised with a chair, but it would have been nice to have an optional luggage rack.

This is a great quiet location near the start of the south coast attractions. It’s a great spot when heading east to get up early and be first to some of the top spots.Great breakfast for a small place. Great value for money compared to many other options in the area.

I think in the summer starting breakfast at 8 is a bit late. That makes sense for winter but in summer people who want to head out early either need to miss out or wait and get started later. Rooms can feel a bit small, especially when having more luggage to bring in.

Nice breakfast with lots of choices. Clean breakfast room with beautiful views. Rooms were quite lovely with gorgeous views. Very clean.

I know this might be hard in a location like this, but some ice would have been nice. They have self serve check in so we did not see anyone until the next morning. They have some drinks available in the lobby. The little refrigerators in the rooms are not very cold. But this is quite a remote location.

Location, the staff, and the room was quite good.

Just the breakfast, which could be more diversified.
