Comfortable bed. Clean room & bathroom. Quiet. Friendly staff. Breakfast had plenty of food & selection.

Quality of breakfast food could have been better. I am from Montreal not Norwalk, CT which the survey assigned to me for some reason.

Very comfortable room, with amazing view on the mountains. Ideal for Aurora hunting at night.

Bathroom was clean

We requested separate twin beds, which were put together -no problem- was asked to separate them myself, which I did and the filth between the beds, under the double beds was disgusting!

The hotel is one of the best with very good price that comes with breakfast, although we came late the staff made sure we will have a smooth check in.

From improvement would be nice to have space parking if your rooom is a little farther :) it was a bit of challenge since our room is in the end and was already dark when we arrived,

Very quiet, serene place and beautiful landscape. In a great area of South Iceland with easy access to a number of popular locations. Good breakfast as well. Didn't get a chance to try the restaurant though! Comfortable rooms and clean. Also, not sure why I had a room with two single beds put together, as the beds were not joined in anyway so you tend to slide through the opening over time.

Hallways of the cabins were cluttered. Place is kinda outdated, and walls are a little thin so you can hear your neighbors often.

Expensive (because of location), but it is not worth it. Very noisy rooms, we were near the exit and have listened clapping door for the whole night. And at the morning the cleaning staff started to come from 8 a.m without knocking (we even haven't visited the breakfast yet) and asking if the room ready for checkout (and they come like this 3 times despite the fact we additionally cleared that checkout at 11 ).

I wanted someplace near Vik and this was the most reasonably priced option, even though it was still an hour away. The room was comfortable and the twin beds can be separated for some space. Ample parking and breakfast was good. Also appreciated that the check-out times were later than at most places. It’s in a really pretty area and I could see how they host weddings there.

I don’t think anything could’ve been done but there was a fly in our room when we arrived. The shower was also laid out poorly so if you adjust the shower head, you pretty much run the risk of soaking the entire bathroom as there’s no shower door and the drain is right under the head instead of in the back.

The convenience and onsite breakfast. They also had a smart tv.

The shower head did not work, it was half clogged. The toilet seat was loose. The towels were really small and rough. The worse was a fly that refused to go away making the overall stay not comfortable.

Remote and rustic. A bit dated but nicely maintained.

The bathroom floor wasn't sloped to the drain and our room had an open shower so the entire floor would stay soaking wet

Felt the linens weren’t as clean as they could be. Also holes in some of them.

At first glance, this place doesn't stand out or look like anything fancy, but it ended up being one of the favorite places we stayed. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but the property itself is amazing. There are ponds and they rent fishing rods which my son loved. There are plenty of places to walk and explore and you'll run into some friendly sheep along the way. The restaurant was good... we enjoyed dinner more than breakfast, but overall it exceeded expectations. Everyone was so nice and accommodating.

We didn't enjoy the breakfast here as much as we did at other places we stayed.

The hotel is in a very good location for access the golden circle area, the south coast (including Westman island), and the Thorsmork area. The room was clean and comfortable, I would stay here again. The free breakfast is excellent.

The walls are quite thin so make sure you bring earplugs for birds and other guests if you want to sleep in late.

Coach blocked the parking overnight despite a huge empty car park by the top building, frustrating as I have limited mobility. Felt the breakfast finished very early so we ended up skipping it. Room overlooked a trailer park which was a shame given the beautiful location. Staff were not very friendly at check in or check out.

Everything was ok in general, clean tidy room.

Being in a remote location we thought it would be a great spot to try to see northern lights, but the complex was too big, so there was plenty of light. Anyway, we just drove a couple of minutes away and found a good spot.

It is a very nice location and calm as well, with very good breakfast and restaurant. The views from the hotel are amazing and we saw northern lights from there. It was very clean and and bathroom is very well equipped.

The room could be a little bit bigger, the sound insulation could be improved and it could be nice to be a little bit more modern. However, it did not had impact in our stay because it was good enough for one night.
