    Pros +

    • Exactly what you can expect in the middle of a small town in Iceland. Nice accommodation and staff. Everyone speaks English well. Don't expect much from breakfast - but its all worth every penny.
    • Good breakfast included. Clean and spacious room. Best value for money hotel during my 11 days Iceland trip.
    • Free breakfast buffet. Large room with private bath.

    Cons -

    • Could have an elevator. Bathroom is big enough to accommodate bathroom sink cabinet so that I could put items on top. Please consider replacing the standalone sink to a sink cabinet.
    • No elevator going to second floor would be nice when arriving with lots of luggage
    • Major tour bus hotel. Don't try getting breakfast early as all of the tour bus people are eathing. Room was VERY hot and windows hardly opened.

Room was clean. Breakfast was nice. Restaurant nearby was pricy (as usual in Iceland) but tastes great.

Accommodations where quite and comfortable. The individual accommodation was great for our stay. We where given accommodation that I would have called a suite, bed room, sitting area and a private bath. The breakfast included the typical European and English breakfasts, very good. Accommodations where quiet and comfortable. They also had hot tubs which were nice after a day of hiking in the cool damp weather.

    Large room,

Major tour bus hotel. Don't try getting breakfast early as all of the tour bus people are eathing. Room was VERY hot and windows hardly opened.

The room is spacious. We arrived near midnight and found that the cot keeps collapsing. We talked to the young lady at the reception and she came to the room and confirmed the condition. 10 or 15 min. later, she sent a much better cot. We appreciated that. The breakfast was very good.

The green carpet degraded the room. The tub is very small with a step seat which may be a trip hazard.

    Breakfast is simple but good.

The building was old and the room has smell. We booked this hotel because we didn't want to drive too long for a day and need a hotel to rest before driving more on the next day.

The hotel was very great. They even had a laundry service which was very affordable and so convenient! The breakfast was included, it was nothing special but hit the spot. Rooms were clean and spacious

    The adresses, rooms

Was a big mistake in booking appears 4 adults and tje kid of 12 was without charge, but then results that I asked 2 rooms only for 2 adults and a kid and I paid the difference. But the negative point was the acctitude of the recepcionist.

Breakfast was great! and liked that it was included. Very well stocked. Good selections. Also liked the location was close to the ferry and easy to find right off the highway. Was located in a very quiet neighborhood.

Staff was delightful. The hotel and our room was clean.

Hotel is a bit dated. Room had a musty smell - we opened the window and that helped a bit.

The restaurant was good and so was the breakfast.

Our shower filled up with water almost up to our ankles. Which was very annoying and gross. They have a strict policy of no smoking, however, once entering our floor we could smell the stench of cigarette smell. We are non smokers and the smell truly bothers us. When I entered our room and restroom it was also smelly.

Loved the hot tubs, there were two of them and they were open until 10pm.The room was very spacious and clean The buffet breakfast was well-stocked with good variety.

The doors tended to slam.shut, and noise from the hallways/common areas travelled.

Breakfast was what is expected. Enjoyed that I could get some espresso and pastries. Dinner was great. The staff were all friendly. The room was large and clean, but seemed a bit out dated. The bathroom was clean and the hot water shower was great.

The doors were not soundproof and we could hear guests talking loudly in the hallway past 10pm and early in the morning. One downside of the buffet is that I could see one of the guests coughing into his hand near the pastries then proceeded to grab a pastry.

    9DawnPosted on: 8-16-2024

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location and parking were great. The room was spacious and comfortable. Everything was very clean, which is important to me. The breakfast had lots of options and we appreciated the hot foods like eggs, sausage and oatmeal.
