Good location near things I wanted to see. Righ next to the ocean, on a quiet road. Terrific staff, very helpful and the lent me a plug converter for my phone.

My bed was in the middle of the room, so it didn¿t have a light. Other than that it was great.

The facilities were modern and well-maintained, the owner was incredibly responsive and accommodating as I missed the check in time. I chose this hostel to spend my birthday at alone and I couldn’t have spent it better. It was an incredibly cozy stay, great kitchen and bathrooms and easy check-in and check-out, and Selfoss is right next door for groceries and other essentials.

This was a wonderful apartment with all necessary amenities located in a cute little Icelandic town that is centrally located to many sights and attractions. The owner was so helpful and helped guide my itinerary for the remaining few days of our visit to Iceland. Thank you so much!

Everything. We had a nice little chat with the owner when checking in and found out quite a lot things about Iceland and the surrounding areas. The room was amazing, we have been upgraded to a One Bedroom Apartment, which had everything you could need for a longer stay. Clean and quiet rooms, kitchen came equipped with pans, dishes, cutlery, a kettle and a coffee machine, as well as stove and microwave so we were able to cook our meals. We spent 8 nights in 8 different accommodations across Iceland and this one was by far the best one. We wish to return here soon!

Close to the ocean, clean and quiet

Really nice spot near the beach. Located right next to a gas station so it is very convienient. It was just very windy on the day of our stay so we decided to stay in.

The apartment was clean, cozy, and very homey. After several nights spent in various hotels in Iceland, this place made my day! It is a lovely place. The staff is kind and helpful. The town is not great, but it is close to Selfoss, just 15 minutes away. The apartment is near the coast, and we had a great sunset view from the walking hill area. It is hard to go down to the seashore because of the rocky terrain, but it is still very nice to walk on the berm. If you plan to make some meals or breakfast at the apartment, it's best to do your shopping in Selfoss before you arrive. The kitchen is very nicely equipped.

The bed was not very comfortable. I mean, it wasn't too bad, but the mattress was hard and a little sunken in the middle. Otherwise, the bedroom is roomy and the lights are perfect. It's not like halfway-dark hotel rooms with dim lights.

Johann was very friendly and helpful. He answered all of our many questions, suggested places to eat, to photograph the town, etc. The apartments were well equipped, it was nice to be able to make our meals there (saved quite a bit of money). We could walk along the waterfront to take photos. The units were clean and very comfortable.

When we first entered we could smell fried fish. My guess is the previous occupants fried fish and the smell lingered. We were two guests, one felt the beds were comfortable, the other felt that the bed would be more comfortable with a mattress topper.

Well appointed, clean and a good location

Really great apartments, it was few minutes away from Selfoss and optimal for the golden circle and the nearby sites. The staff was very nice, we ended staying there for 4 days and we feel like home but better. Advise for anyone who wants to enjoy a vast apartment, a quiet and wonderful cocoon and be very genuinely located.

One side view is ok ( parking lot) and the other side look is bad ( run down building)

It was quiet and had good self-sufficient facilities !

The luggage lockers needed a bit of maintenance

The front desk staff, Ingibjōrg, is very friendly and helpful. Our room is on the 2nd floor, she carried our luggage upstairs and downstairs after we packed. The room is clean and tidy, and has most of the kitchen facilities and seasonings, tea, and coffee. Our room is big enough to accommodate 5 people with nice views.

No elevator

The room was spacious and accommodated our family of 3.

The bed was not very comfortable and we didn't notice the window shades until the next morning.

Good layout for a family of 4 with separate beds for my kids. Clean and overall a very good option for the price. Convenient to many of the major tourist spots.

No real dislikes, it’s not fancy but a good value.

Clean spacious apartment. Easy check in and friendly Staff. Its an hour to Airport and 10 min drive to Gulfoss town that has everting you need. The Town itself has one Restaurant and a Gas station. Apartment is equipped with Fridge Microwave and Coffee Maker. by Ocean but no view of Ocean. Lots of Attractions within one hour drive.

Location by the water. Very clean and very spacious. Tea and coffee provided which was great.

It was really hot in the rooms fans would have been a great addition and thermostats didn’t work.
