Michaelia Hotel

Location is nice. It is just by the sea. The view is very nice. It is just 5-10 min walk to beach and center of village. The staff was helpful.

We faced a very unlucky situation while checking in. Even we booked two sea view rooms, they gave us one sea view room (even not exactly but it is on sea side of hotel) and the second not sea view room. But with the help of the staff the problem solved next day. He really tried hard to help. When we faced this problem, the staff called the owner. But briefly his response was that it is a problem because of booking.com's system and if we do not like the existing rooms we can cancel. Since it was already paid there were no cancelling option of course. Anyway at the end the staff gave us two very nice view rooms.

The location was on the map, walking distance to everywhere, clean and safe. The breakfast was great and especially Miss Gregorya made us very happy with her smiling face and attention.

Everything was perfect

Clean sheets an towels every two days, aircon and fridge worked. Breakfast was adequate. Staff were friendly but only available for part of the day. That is it.

The rooms lack investment, the furniture was dated and had been painted by hand. The bathroom was dated to with a moulded seat/footbath/shower tray this was dangerous to get in and out off, toilet seat was broken and ill fitting. The external door handle was a threaded bar. Billed as 'sea view' in reality it was a 'side sea view' obstructed by an overgrown palm tree

The staff were very friendly and the hotel was very clean. Great location. Loved the sea view balcony and breakfast.

great location - lovely staff.Bedroom totally adequate- clean - attractive - balcony by large tree but still lovely- buffet breakfast very good and staff always helpful.pool small but quiet and totally fine.

shower rail holding curtain very old - easily fell down. cracks in sink - still serviceable but not very attractive.air con worked well but created a pool of water on the floor- some safety hazard as fire alarm was broken and not sure if an issue.

Its location

It wasnt clean, the hall wats were very dark and dingy. The bathrooms were atrocious. The basin had toothpaste stains when we arrived and they were still there when we left. The floor was always dirty. I didnt want to shower as it was dirty. There were noises in my kids bedroom that kept them up all night. Loud pipe noises of some sort

Great location and very friendly staffs especially Athina.

There was no hairdryer. Air conditioners need to be renewed.

Since we have children, 2 rooms were opened and combined.

We had a room at the back and near the pool, which was quiet at night. The location was also great, the hosts were friendly and helpful.

The building and rooms have old English style romantic look, very charming and beautiful. Good location, close to the center and free parking by the street. Stunning sunset view, if you happen to have a room with sea view. Comfortable beds, very beautiful headboards. Quiet at night, exept some occasional motorbikes speeding by. Floors and bathroom very clean (cleaned every day), other surfaces like table tops so-so (a bit dusty, but I didn't mind). Rooms are old, but everything was working well. Good deal for the price.

Go to breakfast early, otherwise some items may have run out.

The balcony table was too big for the size of the balcony , it was hard to move around.

t was good location, excellent breakfast and magnificent host mrs Atina. We found what we expected from the hotel pictures and comfortable even thought much more than our expectations. We want to extend our holiday but all the rooms had been reserved because of weekend :(..my husband is taking look at the other options in Petra but many of them full reservations on the booking. I hope can manage to find a place like Michaline..even he can or not but whatever We decided to come Michaelia again.!

Near by the sea

Old facility ,needs definately renovation.Everything so old that comes dirty. Very small bathroom ,not conveniant even for shower,shower curtain was not clean. Doors are not working properly. Insects are everywhere. In ten years , we are spending 1 week / year in Lesvos, but this so called hotel was the worst. Its needed full restoration or must be closed.

The room was spacious and had very nice beds (mattress and pillows). The exterior of the building was very good looking. The location was also great and the breakfast sufficient.

It seems like there's minimum technical maintenance. The playground looked abandoned and unsafe, half the lights in our bathroom didn't work and we couldn't leave the windows open because the mosquito nets were torn. The reception was closed in the afternoon, despite the fact that in the website it says that it's open until late at night.

Situated in the center of Petra village and there is plenty of parking in front of the hotel if you choose to drive there. You get a lovely seaview if you choose the seaview rooms. Bed is very comfortable!!

Rooms are really dated and small. They need to be refurbished or lower the cost per night.
