    Pros +

    • The hotel was beautifully decorated and comfortable.
    • Excellent breakfast with gorgeous views, a great way to start the day . Bed and A/C were wonderful so we stayed in one afternoon just to nap and relax , which was much needed after 2 weeks of intense sightseeing . We did not try the spa so cannot comment on that .
    • All of the above. Incredible staff. Restaurant was wonderful. Spa treatment were extraordinary.

    Cons -

    • After a long trip to the hotel we were exhausted. We were disappointed to learn there was no place in the hotel to get food. We learned that we would have to wait many hours to eat. The bar had some sardines and another similar dish but neither were food we could eat. We were forced to take a long walk in search of a meal. The hotel doesn’t have a market store. They couldn’t suggest were we could find something to eat. The hotel is beautifully decorated and comfortable but it falls short on hospitality in this one regard.
    • Did not like having to climb one flight of stairs to our room but I may have misread that in the original booking . I have bad knees so that was a bit hard .
    • Hard to get shower gel out of the bottle

Staff friendly, amazing views, location super, spa was perfect- what not to love

Hard to get shower gel out of the bottle

    really liked the spa.

I could not get a reservation in the restaurant the first two nights of our three night stay.

    9JulienPosted on: 9-15-2024

First of all, the view is exceptional, rooms are cozy, the breakfasts were as expected, and, we were agreeably surprised by the quality of the restaurant, we booked it twice. We didn't try the Spa, so no comment on this one.I would definitely recommend L'Agapa Hôtel.

    9SallyPosted on: 7-9-2024

The room was a very large room with a great view and good facilities. It was all very clean and extremely comfortable.

    Only having one night there.

    8PeterincumbriaPosted on: 6-23-2024

The view fantastic and hotel in a great location.

No proper tea or coffee provided in the room.Lovely view and super reception from the young woman, but never saw her again the other reception staff were not really interested.

room with sea view actually do not have much of a view. The window frame bars the view if you sit down. And on the 1st floor, the extension of the dining room roof blocks much of the view. We requested a change in room and were moved up to the 2nd floor. Which was better.

windows could not fully open. window frame blocked the view when you sit down. The shower is in the bathtub. The glass panel to prevent water coming on the floor is not properly fixed, which causes masses of water to fall on the floor.

Facilities are excellent except the gym which is too small and cramped. Every were very clean and comfortable. Meals excellent, breakfast good value if you go for the full extensive range on offer. Good secure parking.

Unable to turn off fierce air conditioning. Three spaces for EV free consumption, but 20 euros each time you plug in.

Very stylish and comfortable hotel, breathtaking ocean view, great spa with pool and terrace with ocean view, excellent breakfast

    7EugenePosted on: 2-12-2024

The view from the window facing the sea is beautiful! Everything is clean, the minibar with still and sparkling water and soft drinks is free. In the spa area, free tea is a nice touch.

Overall, the hotel doesn't rise to 5 stars it claims. The room was quite small, we had to call a technician to fix Netflix access on the TV and have the coffee machine replaced. Pillows were very uncomfortable, we had to put a pillow case on a small "sitting" pillow to be able to sleep. Hammam was not functioning for all the three days we were there. The swimming pool is tiny and gets crowded very quickly. The quality of the spa cures does not really justify their price. Finally, the receptionists need better training: most of them seemed lost and unable to help.

Comfortable room, good breakfast, friendly staff, good location, easy parking

Spa and pool rather small and too crowded

    8MalcolmPosted on: 7-14-2023

    Breakfast excellent

Bar snack area small and not very welcoming. Easier if you couldn't manage a large 3 or 4 course dinner to eat out in town than eat a smaller meal on the hotel.

    8AngelaPosted on: 7-9-2023

    Very good

No air conditioning in room. Surprising for a 5 star hotel. We were told none of the rooms facing the sea had it and we were expected to open our window. This meant at night we could not then also close the curtain due to design of window.

    6MauricePosted on: 10-1-2022

    location, view

spa : access always limited and too much extremely small pool and jacuzi, water not from sea

    8AeldabePosted on: 8-8-2022

Room is very comfortable. Breakfast is wonderful although a bit pricey. Excellent pool & outdoor facilities. Staff nice & helpful

Booking a slot for the indoor pool is a hassle. Steep staircase back to the hotel from the beach

    9GuillaumePosted on: 8-2-2022

Amazing view of the bay, Art Deco style building very quiet and comfy. Restaurant Belouga is a « Must », rarely had such an exquisite food experience for such an affordable price. Breakfast is something too!

    8EyePosted on: 7-12-2022

Nice building in a great location with well kept garden, clean property, good breakfast, excellent service. The area is really nice and the view is stunning.

Even though we got the best and biggest room available, for up to 4 adults with 2 more persons (children) in a sofa bed, the bedrooms were small. Swimming pool rules were kind of restrictive regarding timetable for children and swimming wear for boys/men. Understandable, but not a common thing to find in this kind of hotels.

    8ElizabethPosted on: 11-13-2021

All the staff were lovely. Helpful and courteous. Fabulous lunch (no choice but that was not important to us). Good location for town and the beach

Housekeeping was hit and miss - no replenishment of water, cleansing pads, tea and coffee on three out of four days. Some of the furniture had been chipped and scuffed. Glass table with chipped edges
