Shocking experience at check-in

We had a horrible and shocking experience at check-in.The check-in time goes from 16:00 to 20:00 (see attached photos/screenshots from the official hotel info). The same check-in times can be seen in their website, which states “Our reception welcomes you all year round from 7am to 12pm and from 4pm to 8pm”.As we were a little bit late, we called the hotel twice some minutes before 20:00 but nobody answered to both our calls.When we arrived at the hotel (at 20:08) we were immediately attacked by the hotel owner in an incredibly unpolite way which is totally unacceptable. In his opinion the check-in time was from 16:00 to 19:30 and not until 20:00 and he did not answer to our calls on purpose as we were already too late.I think I do not need to add further comments to explain our rating of the hotel.

This motel is well placed for exploring the pink granite coast. It is based on the edge of a commercial area north of Lannion, but the old centre is only 10 minutes drive away. It is a good example of no-frills but comfortable and good value accommodation that seems to be a feature in France. The breakfast selection was good.

The receptionist was off ill when we were due arrive, this resulted in a bit of a faff sorting out the necessary admin and getting our room details over the phone while we were touring around. But everything was sorted satisfactorily and credit to the staff who ensured everyone got their rooms.

The host was very welcoming and helpful, the room itself - big, perfectly clean with comfort and huge beds.

Tiny shower, but it didn't bother us.

Awesome welcome by the team, clean rooms, decent breakfast

The host was very kind and helpful with our needs, and he gave us many advice. The loaction is very good to visit Ploumanac'h and other beautiful sites at the sea. The apartment was cozy with two comfortable bedrooms, and a good bathroom. The breakfast was great, with a lot of delicious local food products. There was a private parking.

The hotel was near a large road and the view wasn't beautiful.

I found the amount of post-booking information from the hotel overwhelming and hard to manage, while their strict check-in policy, even when the hotel was vacant, caused us inconvenience.

The location was ideal for us although out of town slightly. The staff were extremely helpful & served a good breakfast.

Brilliant staff and delicious breakfast

Nothing really apart from perhaps too many emails prior to our visit which made it feel a bit officious- but it isn’t at all!

The advantages of not being in the downtown, while remaining just a few minutes drive distance from it:structure is on the main road, good base point to visit the neighborhood, but rooms are very quiet (and clean and comfortable).The very warm welcome from hotel manager makes you feel like home since your arrival: courtesy and availability to provide hints and suggestions on what to visit made our staying a really pleasant oneGood breakfast, some meals home made were definitely appreciatedComfortable hotel's parkingThe restaurant beside is good, can be an option in case not willing to take the car going out for dinnerJust a few kilometers drive from Sentier des Douaniers: easy trail with very nice "Granit Rose" coast views
