    Pros +

    • The location of the hotel was great as easy access to town and coastal walking path. The room was comfortable and the staff pleasant .
    • The hotel has a great location just in front of the bay and also in the city center. The staff is nice and polite. We booked a parking place and were pleasantly surprised to find a label with our name marking a parking place. The room was large and clean. Breakfast had several options; the cheese was excelent.
    • Very welcoming and friendly staff, easy to get to, and amazing location. I took a sea-view, which has a small balcony and this exact view. The bed was very comfortable and the room was perfect. I would absolutely come back again and stay even longer!

    Cons -

    • Quite cold over the night. Not enough light.
    • 2 flights of stairs with NO elevator . No air conditioning , and very small bathtub . No bar fridge in room to keep drinks cold .
    • It wasn't an issue for us, but there didn't appear to be any lift for those with mobility issues.

Location: Just a short walk from the beach, centrally located for restaurants and shops, and close to the beautiful pink granite lighthouse for sunset photos.- Private car park: There are limited spaces which are chargeable, which need to be booked in advance. The spaces are a little on the tight side, but super convenient to have our vehicle so close. We liked that each allocated car space had the guests' names on them, so we knew exactly in which space to park when we arrived.- Staff on reception welcoming, smiley and very helpful - not just to us, but also other guests that we overheard them assisting.- Room was clean and comfortable with lots of storage. We chose not to have housekeeping during our stay as we were only there for a couple of nights. Wifi was good.- We did not use the attached hotel bar/cafe, but would have liked to try the bar food in the evening if we had been staying longer.

It wasn't an issue for us, but there didn't appear to be any lift for those with mobility issues.

The location is incredible, from the breakfast you can see the beach and the wonderful rock formations, absolutely incredible to sit there in comfort of a sunrise. Across the road is also a fantastic seafood restaurant. We booked last minute, essentially 40 minutes before arriving and the staff were incredibly accommodating, we arrived on bikes and were able to lock our bikes in a shed, it was all very easy and friendly. French/Breton hospitality at its finest.

bathroom could do with a shower curtain and extractor fan.

The hotel is located at literally 3-minutes walking distance from the famous Pink Granite Coast trail, so it's very convenient if you are planning to explore this Brittany's landmark. The hotel has also a private parking spot (it has to be booked in advance, the number of spots is rather limited, around six or so), which is convenient and you don't need to carry your luggage too far. There are also plenty of restaurants and bars around - but preferably book the place in advance as they tend to be very crowded + they close relatively early.

The hotel is a bit old-fashioned and has a rather basic infrastructure. Our room was rather small and there was no fridge or an electric kettle in the room. We would accept it if it was possible to buy something to drink something at the hotel's bar - and it was but only until 8 pm. So impossible to have for example some tea in the evening. Also, very few electric sockets in the room - it requires some logistics if you want to charge your phones and laptop at the same time.

I missed my eggs for breakfast.

We booked a standard double but were allocated a mini cosy which was too small for us. Management were able to upgrade us into far bigger room additional cost. The larger room was ideal for us. Staff were very polite and helpful.

    Location. Friendly sraff.

Standard of the room was poor. We ordered a double bed and were given a cramped room with a not only a double bed and but also a two tier single bed. It was all very cramped. There was barely room to walk in the room The heater was under repair and plumbing protruded from the wall. To prevent someone walking into the pipe a small table with sharp edges was put there to cover the danger. Of course we walked into it at night when the lights were off and it hurt. We booked and paid for a balcony but was not given one.

I loved sitting on my little balcony and watching the tide come inThe staff were super friendly and helpfulI loved having my own parking space

It was noisy at 5 am when large trucks arrived to make deliveries to neighbouring hotels but I had my windows wide open so I can't really complain and it was not the fault of the hotel

Was refilled regularly.. a basic continental..3 cheeses 2 meats . Very very small cereal bowls. Fantastic breads and little cakes etc butters and jams

Walls of the bedroom were thin.. could hear tv thru the walls and even people talking at 12.30am

Perfect location and lovely little town, really helpful staff and great breakfast. Nice and clean room although bathroom was a bit dated.

A fridge and a kettle in the room would have been great.

    7IrenePosted on: 8-24-2023

Not very clean but a huge place all for ourselves with 3 rooms. Mainly all with sea view (not ours!) Friendly staff very good value for money. Great location!

    6MichellePosted on: 7-10-2023

The view and location were good.

The room was expensive for what it was. We though we had paid extra for a sew view but was shown a dark dingy room in the back!! But we could upgrade to a room with a view for 25 euros more. I felt mislead!!

Nice hotel almost directly at the beach. 10 min walk to the nicest part of the Sentir De Douaniers (lighttower Men Ruz). Good for a walk to sundown.Hotel is clean and pretty new renovated. We had a niice stay.

Breakfast could be better (Real French Croissants were missing)Room was quite small.
