The location was great! Basically directly at the sea, and close to a natural pool. It's a 15-20 minute walk from the centre of Madelena.

Everything was good. The beds were a bit hard for us, and they had wheels underneath so were not very stable.

Nice, clean and spacious room. I particularly liked:* Proper desk in the room* Fridge, and tea/coffee facilities in the room* Proper AC

When I arrived at 3 PM, there was nobody in the reception although it was the check-in time and I had let the hotel know that I am going to arrive at 3 PM. To be fair, the lady in the reception arrived within the next 10 minutes. So it was just a minor inconvenience.

Comfortable room with a kettle, a fridge and a drying rack. Spacious room and bathroom both with lots of natural light. Enough towels and rooms are being tidied every day. Great location at the waterfront, just a couple of minutes from a natural swimming pool. Enough parking and just around 10-15 min drive to the airport. Walking distance to the city.

Convenient apartment with great views, very helpful staff and at an excellent location.

Very nice and clean apartment, lovely view. Approx 10 minute walk to Madalena centre

Location to harbour, downtown, and cella bar. very spacious and clean. Easy to find and beautiful views of the ocean and Faial island.

The only thing that was not good were the sleeping (not the decorative) pillows on the bed. They were small and flat and even with two they flattened too much and were not good for your neck.

Good location, a short distance from Madalena. Large, well-equipped room with a small fridge and a kettle. Near Cella Bar, which is where to go for dinner. The helpful front desk is staffed 8am-6pm. €50/night in Feb.

No breakfast but Padaria Andrade is in Madalena.

Location was good on the outskirts of town, nice and quiet but not too farThe staff was always friendly and helpful. Such nice people! We felt comfortable and at home, and would stay here again.

Everyone who worked there was friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic-close to a swimming area and the town. The kitchen had everything we needed.

The room was a good size. Comfortable beds. AC worked great. Balcony was nice.

Towel quality was lacking. We only received one bath towel the second day for two people. No hot water for the shower the first day and limited hot water the second. The shower is very small.

Location was easy to find, rate inexpensive, parking was fine.It seemed on a map walking distance to ferry but really a tad too far to walk with bags, but not a problem with a car, which we ended up booking last minute

Beds were not comfortable. Overall very basic and nothing extra. Noisy street in front in the morning however not an issue particularly.The building itself is a good one so it would be very easy to upgrade the guest experience with some added details for comfort such as nicer bedding and towels, perhaps better tea/coffee setup. It seemed that the hosts don’t bother to spend additional effort beyond the basics. Could charge more if it was more comfortable.

The apartment was huge and well equiped! Very nice view! very nice hosts.

Loved the place!!!Everything was very well thought out, great to have a kitchen and washer. Lovely views!

Nice, spacious room including a fridge, a laundry rack and a big balcony with an awesome ocean view. Perfectly located in a quiet area between Cella Bar and a nice food truck, both at the ocean. 15 min walk to town. Super happy!

Beautiful room with seaview and terrasclose to Cella. Bar!! And nice foodtruck + natural Pools. Walking distance tot Madalena en ferry.

The hot water often is missing

Rooms are large and comfortable, our had a large balcony with a view on the sea. There is a natural sea pool at 5mn walking distance as well as a nice bar and restaurant.

The road between the hotel and the seaside. Traffic is heavy at time and noisy.
