Nice location, spacious rooms, quiet and relaxing. Outdoor and indoor pool.

Rooms are old, need renovation. Breakfast was not up to 4 star hotel standards.

Unfortunately, the experience fell well below our expectations in several important areas:Upon arrival, the staff was not helpful. We were left to push a luggage cart up a hill to our room while managing our three young children. The room was outdated and unclean. There was a strong odor upon entry, mold in the bathroom, a rusty lampshade, and a drawer that was visibly rotting. The exterior paint was peeling, and the overall condition of the property suggested a lack of maintenance and care.What was most disheartening was the apparent absence of passion or hospitality from the team. It’s a real shame, as the location itself is truly beautiful and full of potential.

This place was beautiful. The building, the grounds (really well kept), the outdoor pool and the facilities. We stayed an extra night. It was walking distance to the medieval village of Pals. We didn't eat here so can't comment on the restaurant but the potential as a venue for a wedding or some sort of celebration is huge. The reception guy on the first night was really helpful and friendly.

The outside bedrooms could do with a makeover, our room was massive and lovely old style but new curtains and a lick of paint would go a long way to freshen the place up a bit. The same for the indoor spa area.

Beautiful communal pool areas. Picturesque grounds and surrounding areas. Lots of space to relax inside and outside the hotel. Rooms are spacious.

Lack of staff (there was no one tending either bar). A little dated in areas (could do with some maintenance and tlc). The walls were very thin and we could hear everything from both sides (soundproofing needed). The indoor pool could do with a clean.

Excellent place with a stunning pool and beautifully maintained garden. The pool area is perfect for relaxation, offering a serene environment surrounded by lush greenery. The garden is expansive, providing a peaceful retreat where you can stroll among well-manicured lawns and enjoy the natural beauty.The hotel is also conveniently located near charming villages like Peratallada and Begur, which are rich in history and culture. These nearby spots are perfect for day trips, where you can explore medieval architecture, quaint shops, and local cuisine. The combination of the tranquil garden, inviting pool, and proximity to such beautiful locales makes this a fantastic place to stay. Excellent place with a very friendly and flexible staff; I will definitely return!

Nothing relevant

This stay exceeded my expectations and we 100% plan to return. The photos do not capture the beauty of the rooms (stay in the old farmhouse!). It was worth the added cost. Breakfast was great, other guests were kind, and the staff was exceptional! We lost a necklace and they went above and beyond to locate it and return it to us. Our only regret is we didn't stay longer. We plan to be back for a week next summer as you can just disconnect at this beautiful property- slice of heaven! Also only 5 mins to stunning Pals town. 15 mins or so from beaches. Great location.

The hotel is fantastic.the exterior and interior pool are great.

We booked the top suite and when we arrived we learned that it was two steep stairs to reach the room, which was not easy and heavy some days.The staff could make a better job. There was a young man which was very nice, one was average and there was a lady that was very rude and unhelp full. She was even upset when we asked for help with the luggage at checkout.Two floors by stairs with the luggage was not in our plan and for the price we paid. She helped with one bag but refused to help with a second (we had to take it with my wife on our own.)I do not except this for this kind of hotel.

Wonderful hotel! We enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again. Very green, nice breakfast, large rooms. The property is so unbelievably beautiful! We also tried dinner and lunch at their restaurant. It was delicious.

Friendliness of the staff. We had a peaceful and restful stay at Mas Salvi Boutique Hotel, despite being there over a public holiday. The restaurant had a very good menu which we enjoyed four out of the six evenings we were there.

Restaurant was really bad: you get the same dinner menu every day, with low variety of options, and the quality was pretty bad.

The breakfast buffet was extensive and of high quality, strongly recommended. The hotel is much bigger then expected, there are two rows of rooms in the garden for a total of around 25 plus rooms in the old main building that is very characteristic. All rooms in the garden are ground level, spacious and with a terrace without a view. The internet/wifi was very poor in the garden rooms, If you plan to use it from your room, try another hotel.The location is very quiet but doesn't invit an evening walk to the old town s road are dark. Car transport in the evening is required.

Very poor internet and when we arrived on Sunday afternoon, the area and lawn were littered with the proof of a large party under a massive party tent.

Mas Salvi is an oasis of calm right by the best villages in Baix Emporda. The hotel is really nice, the service is good and the restaurant serves tasty typical food from the area. We stayed in a junior suite which is spacious and had an amazing view of the sunset.

Certain areas of the property are a bit dated. The restaurant only offers a closed menu at night and breakfast is a tad expensive, which makes the whole stay a bit expensive compared to the value of what you get. The restaurant was actually almost empty despite it being the peak of august.

The quality of food it’s good and the rooms are big and clean.. the property I’d beautiful but.. it is nit managed professional or 4 stars. The swimming pool area it’s disaster.. in the morning you find the wet towels and all the dirt and mess from the night before.. many children for only one small pool at 5 cm from the terrace… you eat, meantime they are still cleaning the floor of the restaurant and the screaming kids around.. poor management

Clean your facilities during the night.. pool restaurant, swimming pool area.. at 10 AM going there and still looking at the mess and dirt… absolutely not acceptable

The space and mainly the surroundings.

Poor breakfast for 18 € per person, low quality. The person that welcomed us was very rude and didn’t even guide us to our room. She showed indifference to our questions. Poor interest if we were comfortable.

The beautiful retreat in lovely gardened surrounds with grassed sunlounging area by the pool, with bar.Large bedroom with great bathroom and private terrace.The lovely, helpful staff, the whole ambience of the place.The proximity to Pals village.Inexpensive food and drinks.Everything perfect after a day travelling and sightseeing.

The property is located in a fantastic location. The staff was friendly and Wellcome.The gardens and facilities are good for family with kids.Room was spacious.A lot of outdoor room to play for the little ones, and also an indoor play room specifically for them.

The room was dirty, with spider nets, mould and marks of leaking on the roof. After complain several times I had to reach personally the cleaning lady to ask to clean in deep, especially the bathroom.The room shows a lack of maintenance with marks in the walls and small damages as well as in some of the furnitures, especially in the bathroom.Terrace was infected with ants. True that was clean when we complained but they came back every other day. Internet wifi was lost every time in the room, so impossible to even check the emails.Overall despite the potential and fantastic environment the Hotel shows a lack of maintenance and cleanness. Probably it was a 4 stars years ago but currently it does not reach the standards at all, especially the rooms.Prices ( restaurant, rooms, bar...) are charged at 4 stars hotel, but again, the Hotel is not even close about what you can expect for a 4 stars resort!
