The gardens are wonderful. Having a private sun porch. The staff is so attentive and lovely. A stool should be substituted for by a chair. It s not set up for writing which it should be why not.

1. the restaurant takes up the entire front portion of the beach and setting. The beach is to the right and left. 2. The food is awful. I grilled octopus that was inedible. I tried to send it back with no success. The Greek salad as another table looked ok. Why not have a kitchen that is experimental and elegant to fit the price of the hotel. The hotel requires transport form the town. They do have a dependable shuttle but its something to think about.

The experience at the hotel was very good. They greet you at the port and there is a boat shuttle to take you to and from the hotel every 15 or 30 minutes. As we wanted to explore the city, but also have a beach experience, this hotel was a good choice. Their beach service is great as well as the restaurant by the sea. The room had a big varanda and it was big and very comfortable.

The staff was always very friendly and helpful, but from one experience we had with one of them. When we asked what they would suggest for us to see in the town, maybe some gallery or museu, the reply was super negative and that we should enjoy the beach, like my question would be some absurd thought. I insisted, saying that I knew the island was known for its artsy side, but again another negative and that I should just go to the beach.As much as I did enjoy the beach, it was not all I wanted to see and exactly why I had chosen Hydra! I never had seen someone so dismissive and bordeline rude to a guest asking for local advice. I know what I want to see and do, this interaction was really something I'd never experienced before.

The location is good. There is a boat to ship the luggage to the hotel. We had dinner in the restaurant which was delicous and good value for money. The beach was good and relaxing. The sunset was gorgeous

We chose the Amercian Breakfast which was average. The room rate was high.

I really loved that Anna met us at the dock when the private boat transfer arrived and welcomed us. That set the tone For our anniversary stay. I also love the fact that our beach chairs were already reserved and waiting us. The staff was exceptionally accommodating for everything that we asked for. I loved our room with private porch with sea view. I honestly can say that this was a great experience .I wish we had stayed longer. Anna thank you so much for your hospitality, I really appreciate you accommodating us. The young man at the beach was also very polite and helpful. Everyone was just so pleasant and helpful. Yes, and the sunset at dinner time is fantastic!

The perfect location for a short relaxing break. One of the few places there’s a beach; the staff is outstanding and friendly and the food the best in Hydra

the bed in our villa was queen size and not very comfortable and neither the pillows.They should have a pier out to sea with a ladder as access into the sea is tricky.

we were impressed with the transportation facilities provided by the hotel, which made getting around very easy. The staff were generally friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed the breakfast service, where the quality of food and the attentiveness of the staff stood out.

We had planned our schedule according to the ferry timings. However, the hotel staff requested that we check out by 11 AM, which was inconvenient for us. Additionally, if we wanted to stay at the beach after checking out, we were told we would need to pay extra for an umbrella and sunbed. This policy made us feel unwelcome and was disappointing, considering we were hotel guests

Stunning boutique luxury hotel reachable only by boat on the beautiful island of Hydra. Attentive staff, beautiful grounds and a fabulous taverna style restaurant with sunset views to die for! There is a water taxi shuttle every half an hour that will take you to the main port town that runs until late evening, where times extend to every hour instead of every half hour. Some of the most beautiful views I've ever seen.

Mind out for sea anenomes when swimming in the ocean - there are designated swimming areas but still hard to avoid these critters in the hot summer months.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Four Seasons Hydra. The location was lovely, quiet and remote. The staff were exceptional and made us feel very welcome. We loved the food, our beautiful room with a sea view, spending time at the beach and the beautiful walks into Hydra. The water taxi was also great fun. Thanks to everyone at Four Seasons for a memorable experience, definitely recommend it, we will be back.

The location, the staff and the hotel’s unique Greek charm have to be experienced to be totally appreciated.

The property and the staff were exceptional, we came all the way from Australia and they treated us with welcoming hands and the kindest of attitudes, the staff really made the stay and the luxury suites were stunning, this is a place we will have to go back and honestly it’s perfect for relaxing and enjoying a Greek island.

This hotel was absolutely breathtaking. The room was amazing with a water view and our terrace. The staff was amazing, the food was absolutely delicious, and the weather was gorgeous while we were there. We felt like royalty at this resort. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating to whatever we needed. I chose to include breakfast with our stay, and I believe this is the best decision I could have made outside of extending our stay by another day. :)

The beach was not sandy, so if you did not bring water shoes, and didn't know how to get them, the rocks hurt your feet a little. There were other people allowed to visit the beach that were not staying at the hotel. I didn't mind much, but for someone else paying to stay there, it could be a bother. The positive side to that is that people paying to stay at the hotel get a reserved chair, towel and umbrella whereas others just visiting for the day do not.

The location was lovely, quiet and remote. The property was picturesque and tidy. We loved the beach area with the sun-beds and umbrellas. The restaurant was really good; the included breakfast was wonderful! The staff were friendly and very helpful, transporting our bags and making reservations for us. The private, complimentary ferry was an amazing perk. I wish we could have booked one of the tours on the larger boat, but we just didn’t have time. Next time!

Some mistakes made in ordering, facilitating things to do

amazing location with its own private beach, restaraunt, service at the beach.it’s away from the noisy busy port. they have free boat every 30 mins that takes you to the port and it’s 5 mins away with boat. Highly recommend it. The staff was so kind and went extra miles organizing our stay. special thanks to Kostas who is very polite, professional gentleman.

We had an idyllic vacation at this beautiful little gem of a hotel in Hydra. Everything about our stay was perfect. The beachside location and sunsets were absolutely breathtaking and the service was exceptional. We loved the food, our beautiful room with a sea view, spending time at the beach and the spectacular walk into Hydra. The water taxi was also great fun. We felt very well taken care of and we have already booked our room for next year.
