Loved the history of the hotel. Close to the harbor. Ocean view. Fabulous breakfast! Very friendly front desk.

This hotel is fabulous! We loved everything about it! The staff are all delightful! The breakfast buffet is wonderful and the courtyard was the perfect place to enjoy it! It is centrally located and close to the port without being right on the port. So, it was a short walk, but in a very quiet area! We would love to stay here again some day!

I can't think of a thing! But it should be noted for some travelers that there is no elevator. But the staff is happy to help with luggage.

The location of the Hydroussa Hotel Hydra was excellent. It was a ‘block’ away from shops and restaurants. The host of the hotel gave excellent restaurant suggestions. The room was spacious and well appointed. While the bathroom was small it was more than adequate with a good shower and plenty of hot water. We would definitely stay at this hotel again if we are fortunate enough to visit Hydra again.

Absolutely gorgeous building, right in the middle of Hydra only minutes from the hustle of the port, set across from a courtyard of lemon trees. Room was beautifully decorated, staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was lovely as well.

The only thing I could think of that could be improved are the coffee making facilities inside the room (eg a nespresso machine) - the room had a small kettle and instant coffee, which was ok.

The only complaint is I tore my meniscus and had to walk up six flights of stairs. There are no elevators in the island. This is not the property’s fault. Let them know if you need a lower level.

It is beautifully decorated, very high quality and tasteful. The breakfast which is included was a full breakfast, both hot and cold items and nicely presented. It's a large meal to last you through the day. They got us into our room early as requested and kept out luggage after check out as we roamed the island. There's a peaceful courtyard where you can enjoy drinks and breakfast. Staff are accommodating and helpful.

Bathroom is beautiful but in the small side

Beautiful hotel in the center of Hydra, close to the port, but before the steep hills. Comfortable room and bed with nice bathroom and shower. Breakfast buffet was substantial and delicious. Staff was without exception helpful, friendly and welcoming.

Well situated and beautifully appointed,, this immaculate restored building houses spacious rooms and exquisite common spaces..The breakfast was a diverse and lovely European buffet. If you don't mind the expense it is highly recommended.

Great hotel perfect except for allergic reaction to cat dander

Allergic reaction. There must have been cats in the room or on the bedding. The island is famous for its cat population but dander was on the bedding. Made me very sick. Otherwise it was a wonderful hotel

It would be great if the hotel could provide a room for guests to change clothes when checking in early or checking out late.

Was in a great location. Night front desk, cleaning and breakfast staff were fantastic.

The first person you are greeted with by sets the stage for your stay. This was not a pleasant experience when checking in. Spiros the front desk lead was cold and not accommodating. We asked for an early check in and he kept reiterating the rules of check in like it was a script. As we were waiting two other couples got early check in for the same room and we were told an excuse that made us undervalued as a paying customer. More training is required for front facing staff especially for those customers who experience 4 to 5 star hotel in major cities of the world. This is their clientele.
