The location is good

I was supposed to have a room with a city view, but it was on the ground floor, and I couldn't open the window because it was next to the hotel terrace. My colleague’s room, on the first floor, had a strong smell of smoke. Since neither of us smokes, we could smell it quite strongly. We informed the reception, and a staff member came to check but said he couldn't smell anything. The same thing happened the next morning, and she went to the receiption and the guy came to chek, it was another staff and he could smell it too. At the end, we realized the smoke was coming from the neighboring room where another guest was smoking. Even with the windows closed, the smoke was still entering the room. It was a pitty to have this experiences and hotel staff couldn't resolve the issue.

The location was nice, close to a picturesque area of the village.Bonus for breakfast, the food was fresh and the views of the terrace were breathtaking.

The room was outdated and really dark. The window was looking out on a small outside passage poorly maintained.In the bathroom there was no shower curtain and the water was easily flooding around.Also the shower towels were located on a high level not so accessible for a short person.There were noises during the weekend and bells noises.

Beautiful and spotlessly clean elegant hotel in a neoclassical building.The staff were friendly and very professional- especially Stelios and Maria as well as Vangelis who enjoyed sharing his historical knowledge of Syros with genuine enthusiasm.The front desk/ Reception staff during the day were extremely helpful , warm and kind.The reception is manned 24 hours- such a bonus!I am looking forward to staying at this ambient hotel in the near future with great pleasure. A true gem.

Nothing. Everything was perfect!

The location is excellent! The staff working there is always very helpful. They helped us get a taxi and suggested good places for food as well as beaches. The neoclassical style of the hotel makes the experience very luxurious and the daily cleaning helped retain the room in a great condition even after a long stay.

The breakfast. Unfortunately, the policy changed this year. There’s no more buffet which is a big minus at this pricing… the breakfast is very sad. It consists of 2 sad slices of cheese and ham, a basket with some bread slices, 2 hard boiled eggs, some jams, two pieces of a store bought cake and two tiny slices of watermelon. They also offer some yogurt. The biggest problem was the lack of coffee. It is completely inappropriate to have a luxury hotel but offer only watery filter coffee. There’s no more kitchen, no warm food or salad, no variety every day so that you get bored of eating the same and you can’t even get an espresso! I would give this hotel a 10/10 but I won’t be visiting again because of the lack of an enjoyable breakfast. Additionally, we had no dryer to dry our swimsuits and towels after the beach.

* there is no room to hand/dry your swimsuits or towels.* breakfast is one type--if you're vegan or have any alergies you're not allowed to eat anything* there are no chestdrawers, so you can only hang your stuff.

The majority of staff were so lovely and helpful, with a single exception to this.Breakfast setting and staff were wonderful.

We were accommodated in an adjacent building, not the main hotel. The ally to get to the hotel was full of rubbish, cat poo, coach roaches. The second building itself wasn't particularly sound proof and you can clearly hear families across the hall.The rooms were more basic than the photos. Simple things like complimentary water in the room not being replaced daily (when it's 35 degree heat).

The roof garden restaurant had an amazing view. The room was large, retro high ceilings and wooden floor. Free water bottle in the bedroom. Kind staff serving breakfast.

The bed was hard, the shower was full of salt and did not work. We had to climb 2 floors of stairs to reach the room. Only one type of coffee for breakfast.

Rooms need total refurbishment, extremely old-fashioned, uncomfortable bathroom.

Breakfast could be improved. The hotel should offer the option for espresso coffee even with extra charge.

Absolutely lovely staff From the reception to the breakfast, the staff were really lovely. Btw , breakfast was huge!Great location with fabulous view.The room need a little bit of tlc but we slept really well.

Wonderful comfortable room with a beautiful view and good a/c.Excellent wide choice of delicious breakfast on a terrace overlooking the bay.All the staff were so helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

the views were breathtaking, the decor is classy. we loved the terrace and the breakfast was very fresh, the food was good for those who have a sweet tooth.

The position overlooking Ermoupoli ,a generously proportioned room with a Seaview, great breakfast and very friendly , helpful staff.

Needed tea and coffee making facilities in the room as you had to walk down to the town just for an afternoon coffee

Having an open shower toilet in bedroom was not a good idea. They should close it off completely.
