- Nice hotel. Good amenity.
Cons -
- Nothing to complain about
- It’s overpriced for the area. It’s a good place for party, but nothing much to do in the town it is in.
- Sauna, gym, pool. Good breakfast.

Nice hotel. Good amenity.
Sauna, gym, pool. Good breakfast.
Modern and very comfortable hotel.
Sauna a bit too hot (90 C)
One of the receptionists and the operations manager have made our stay pleasant after all, as they were the only ones who were able to solve all issues, with no restraint. Two very professional and skillful members of the staff, especially the receptionist. Excellent choice of foods within the hotel restaurant. Hallways are designed to be as private and as secluded as possible, with multiple entrances and exists. Overall, it is obvious that the entire building was designed to serve as a discreet and secluded stay.
Nice hotel, very good breakfast, great dinner, very comfy bed and linen, lovely indoor pool
There was some smell in the bathroom, majority of staff (except 1 lady at reception) is not welcoming and not aware to greet guests but would only respond to greeting, no smile on staff faces - this affects the overall feeling Personally, I did not like the surrounding area, so would not spend holiday there, however I would recommend it as a very good option if you want to see Pag island
Comfort, clean and great facilities like sauna and inner pool.
Would be nice to have with Finish sauna, Turkish one too. Wouldn't mind if tea was offered in sauna...
Both the exterior and interior make good impression, it's modern, stylish and cozy. The room was clean and had everything that may be needed. The breakfast was very good, wide variety and all fresh.
The location could've been better. On the one hand, it's close to the road, easily accessed by car, but on the other hand you must walk a while to reach the embankment and there's not always a sidewalk.
Very nice and comfortable hotel with beautiful sauna and an indoor swimming pool.Breakfast was included in the price. You can also choose buffet dinner which is 20eur per person.
Location, indoor swimming pool and very helpful stuff.
-Our room temperature was 27 degrees and the only way to lower it down was to open the window. - Very few English speaking channels on TV. Mainly news channels.
The staff was very nice, attentive. Rooms were cleaned daily. There was plenty of options for breakfast. There is an option for renting bikes (normal and electric). You are very close to Novalja old town.
How cold was the water in indoor and outdoor pool.
We chose Hotel Olea for a weekend getaway on the Pag island. Hotel Olea’s location and facilities were perfect for this. The room was clean and comfortable, and we loved the architecture and interior design of the hotel. The ample windows throughout the property provided us with amazing views over Novalja, the surrounding area and the Velebit mountain range. We were especially looking forward to using the spa, and we were not disappointed. The Finnish sauna was on point and the relaxation area next to it was very cosy and inviting. The hotel is pet-friendly and the staff made sure our dog felt welcomed and comfortable. We had freedom to take her almost anywhere within the property (pools and spa areas obviously excluded). The breakfast in the hotel was excellent. ?? On top of this, we also had a couple of late lunches/early dinners in the hotel’s restaurant and the food was great! ? Finally, the staff was extremely friendly and we felt they could accommodate any of our requests.
It’s difficult to find negative aspects of our stay at Hotel Olea. I guess that, depending on your budget, the restaurant can be a bit pricey. And, even though for us the location was excellent (we were looking for a calm area, where we could feel like we were “away from everything”), I guess other guests can find it a bit isolated. It’s only a 15-minutes walk to the Novalja Beach, though. For me, the only truly disappointing aspect of the stay was the coffee you could get from the machine during breakfast. ? But even this was later compensated by the very good latte macchiato I got at the hotel’s bar ??
Room is nice and spacious
Room services was not able to clean the room after I have asked them twice. Jacuzzi was not working.Pool was damaged lamps were outside. Sauna showers were without shower head. Power went out twice...
Charging station for evehicles on the grounds of the hotel, only DC charger in Novalja. Room lay out, view.
Usage of pool was still not possible from 9am and not anymore after 10pm. Fitness room was locked and „keys had to be looked for“…
Hotel was new and beautiful. Pool in front and inside the hotel, great coffee, A/C in rooms, awesome.
As regular guests of this hotel, we've always enjoyed its superb location with scenic views and proximity to the city center. The room is big and nicely decorated, the pool and sauna are enjoyable amenities, and the hotel staff continues to be friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is decent but nothing special, with the same selection offered daily.
Returning for our third year, we were disappointed to notice a decline in the hotel's service and maintenance standards, possibly due to reduced staffing and lower occupancy rates. Nonetheless, we expected consistent, impeccable service. Water pressure issues in our room significantly impacted both showering and toilet use, with periods where only hot water was available. In the spa, the absence of sauna robes was a significant hygiene concern. After inquiring, staff specifically instructed us to use our pool towels for multiple purposes, including laying them on sauna benches where others had left sweat, and then using the same towels after swimming, which is unsanitary. The other option was to buy an extra towel for 7 EUR. The spa's ambiance was also compromised by non-functional ambient music and the absence of refreshing citrus-infused water. Maintenance issues were prevalent: a broken sauna headrest remained unattended, litter lingered in the pool area, the toilet light was out, and the shower head was broken in the spa area. The shift to generic toiletries marked a further decline from the hotel's usual standards. Additionally, the presence of party guests from Zrče on the same floor disrupted the tranquil environment we valued. As regular visitors, the noticeable drop in quality and service this year casts serious doubts on our return.
clean room and bathroom. comfortable stay, good breakfast
no coffee /tea in rooms, got charged for a single bottle of water. these things should be complimentary for a 4 star hotel.
A lot of choices for breakfast buffet. We got a free upgrade of room. They even provided me with a 3XL bathrobe which is a rare pleasure. Everything is clean and personnel is very friendly.
Some small children created a big mess in wellness area (although this is more in responsibility of their parents and not a fault of hotel personnel).
New, modern hotel, with spacious rooms, noise proof walls. The breakfast buffet was excetptional, as well as the staff at the food&bev dep. They remembered that my brother had gluten allergy . . Everything was perfect. We stayed at a pretty off season period, though the hotel was full. Novalja is small but a beauty, walking distance everything. The whole island was a chill and relaxing destination at Easter.
One of the best amenities on Pag. Friendly staff and really the best kitchen on the island. Chef is the best! Cooks really delicious cuisine.
