Pros +

  • Breakfast was great and there were good restaurants at the hotel - choice of fine dining or traditional casual balkan bbq. Peaceful traditional Dalmatian setting. Lovely wines!
  • The location is fantastic, removed from the bustle and hustle of it all on the island. It is small, intimate, nicely decorated, well run by a very responsive staff. There is a Michelin star restaurant on site, what more would one want?!
  • The nature around the house is incredible everything is freshly prepared with if rudeness from the garden! The tavern and the fine dining restaurant are worth trying, we absolutely loved both experiences! And do try their wines! Rooms are spacious, well decorated and clean. Staff is very kind, helpful and made sure we had the best time! Thank you again, we will be back! ❤️

Cons -

  • The service from the staff could be improved. They maybe lacked experience. Overall, the only issue was getting prompt and efficient service expected for a fine dining and fancy boutique winery.
  • The hotel is trying to be everything to everyone, so during our stay (mid summer) we had a family with children, dogs, local business people meeting on the breakfast patio, talking loudly, discussing, outnumbering overnight (paying) guests trying to enjoy some idol of the space this hotel actually offers. So if you are not looking for adult only, mature place and don't mind some human noise, go for it. The place is beautiful.
  • We should have stayed longer!

Very clean, comfortable, nice restaurant, very good food...

Price...My room was on ground level, I can't open my window, because near the room is wild outside. I am not secure with open windows...

The winery is incredible, the food was exquisite and the service was world-class hospitality.

When a small and probably harmless but nonetheless scary scorpion made it's way into our bedroom. Not the hotel's fault, they are native to Pag island but still, a bit creepy.

The property is set in beautiful surrounds and is the perfect place to relax for a few days. Rooms are stylish and spacious, the staff are extremely friendly and always accommodating, and the food is outstanding. Highlights are breakfast on the terrace overlooking the pool and gardens, and of course the evening tasting menu.

Very little not to like. Our initial arrival could have been a little more welcoming and informative, and the pool area could have been cleaned and tidied a little more but that’s clutching at straws and neither negatively affected our stay.

Service was impeccable. The best breakfast you could ask for. Stunning location. Rooms were beautiful. We really felt special there. The Sommelier there is a great attribute to the hotel!

It was a super nice and tastefully decorated hotel. They have very few rooms so it felt private and special (not the feeling of a big chain hotel). The hotel has a very good restaurants (even a Michelin star one). The food was amazing … best breakfast ever!

Awesome breakfast, local food, great serving presenting, eating area out of this world.

Can't really think of anything.

Hotel Boskinac is an oasis tucked between olive trees and vineyards on the Pag hills and the atmosphere is absolutely peaceful. We stayed for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon and it was the most relaxing experience. The room was large, beautifully decorated with natural elements and we had a tiny balcony overlooking the courtyard. The staff was welcoming, especially Marina who served the fabulous breakfast (which was included in our room price). It was a pleasure to relax in sun loungers by the pool, have a drink in the different seating areas and take in the serenity of the place! We felt absolutely spoiled and I would say the price is extremely fair/reasonable for the overall experience! We had the vegetarian course at the Michelin star restaurant and that was a beautiful culinary experience. Recommending wholeheartedly to choose this boutique hotel!

We liked the whole experience :)

Awesome location, great fine dine restaurant. Staff always available and friendly. Breakfast amazing.

By far the best hotel we ever stayed at. Everything was wonderful, from the breakfast to the rooms and the staff to the pool. We loved it so much we never wanted to leave. Both restaurants are amazing, although a bit expensive. The wines are absolutely incredible and the sommelier is super nice and helpful. I hope we can come back soon because this place is truly remarkable.

Our room was beautiful and the setting was lovely. We especially loved the big, comfy bed.

The drinking water situation is a little unusual and we felt like we had to keep asking for more because we were so thirsty and running out and only a small carafe was provided. We weren't asked about dietary preferences at breakfast so we did receive meat on our table when we were vegetarian but we just left it on the side. Some staff seemed a bit grumpy!

The scenery is a dream. It is not a hotel but a huge Villa/Castle with its own property in the middle of a mountain. The park, the Villa, the poolside, everything was beautiful. The vibe was dreamy.. :)

There was nothing we didn’t like. 10/10

Everything was great. This is my favorit second place to stay on the island of Pag. The best place is definitely Sundays in the centar of Novalja.

The room was quite dark, but they are a wine selling property, so it makes it easier to understand.

10UnknownPosted on: 8-7-2023

We felt welcomed, staff was always there and willing to assist. Location was quiet, clean, confortable, yet not far from center points on the island. Breakfast was magic, food in restaurant great.

10MalenePosted on: 7-29-2023

Perfect stay with the best staff and wonderful atmosphere. We absolutely loved it and are already looking into our next stay. The staff was so welcoming and helpful with our 1yo. I will never forget how the manager (?) Boris carried our stroller and baby up and down stairs, held her chewed up straw (with enthusiasm) when our baby handed it over, and served her poached eggs in the morning. Just absolutely perfect and look forward to next time.A little tip; dont follow the Google maps directions to/from the pag ferry. Take the long way through the city (much prettier as well!). We ended up offroading on a bike track by a rock quary, garbage dump and in a forrest. ?

As for the room, the value for money is more than justified. The price of a room of this size is much higher everywhere else. The room is beautiful, spacious and above all very comfortable. The whole facility was a perfect weekend get away for my little family, we really enjoyed it!

As soon as we arrived we were overwhelmed with the beautiful location. It overlooks the rolling hills filled with olive groves and sheep. When we went in October it was so quiet and peaceful, but I can imagine at busier times that the liveliness and hacienda feel to the place would be amazing. The rooms were beautiful and well maintained with amazing windows that opened right up to the afternoon breeze. It was a real local experience even down to the local water. The breakfast was incredible. We got to try so many amazing things specifically from the island of Pag. Michelin star restaurant is expensive as should be expected, but well worth it! It’s an amazing experience, treat yourself!

The couple next door were not very quiet late at night - if you catch my drift. I don’t blame the hotel for it, people need to be more perceptive about who is around them. Or maybe they just need to care that people can hear them. Regardless, my suggestion especially during summer months would be to put in a fan (ceiling or even pedestal) so we can still have a breeze but can close the windows so that the obnoxious feline and porcine sounds of the night can remain outside where they belong.
