- Great welcome from the receptionist. He couldn't have been more helpful during my short visit
- All went very well, reception remained open for us as ferry was delayed. Helped us with our luggage, called taxi when we left. Free coffee in the morning.
- The location is perfect, you are right in the city and only a very short walk from the beach. Even though the rooms are to the front you can't hear anything from the outside.
Cons -
- I accept it is a historical building and not easy to adapt but I found the lack of a lift a big drawback
- No kettle or tea making facilities in room, although this was common in all the hotels we stayed in during this trip.
- Breakfast is pretty basic and not really suitable for vegans as there was no alternative for cow milk or joghurt which would have been nice. I brought my own stuff which was absolutely no problem. Sometimes it gets a tiny bit louder in the mornings when the staff starts preparing the breakfast downstairs but still totally managable. I loved how tiny my room was but I was a single person. Can imagine it could be a little tight with two people :)
