The Hotel Alpenrose sport & aktiv is just a 5-minute walk from the center of Kühtai and offers direct ski-in/ski-out access to the slopes of the ski area. The comfortable rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV, an infotainment system, and a private bathroom. The spa area, accessible from 14 years of age, offers a bio sauna, a steam bath, and an infrared cabin. Massages can be booked on request. In the morning, guests can enjoy a rich breakfast buffet, and in the evening, a daily changing buffet with regional specialties and a separate children's buffet. Guests can end the day at the cozy bar. For children, there is a kids' club open daily. From Sunday to Friday, the room is additionally supervised from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m, but it is just in the winter. For teenagers, there is a separate room with modern high-tech equipment. GERBYLAND, a 6.6 ft² snow paradise with snow tubes, trampoline and magic carpet, offers additional fun. Cross-country ski trails and a toboggan run start right next to the hotel. Free private parking is available on site.

- the hotel is located next to the ski lift! the staff is very friendly and helpful! The food is delicious and you will have an enormous selection of different dishes ( buffet) - the wellness area and the fitness are also excellent! We have been twice in this hotel and have never been deceived.

- Loved our stay at the Alpenrose. Room was large, bed was comfortable, breakfast and dinner buffets were very good, with daily changes to menu. But the best thing was the amazing staff. From the front desk, to serving staff, cleaners, bar staff, sauna massage staff, everyone was very professional, helpful and friendly. No question was too hard and went out of their way to provide assistance. Will definitely stay here again next time in Austria.
Cons -
- A kettle in the room would have been nice. Also a smart tv to sign into netflix
- Minor - would be nice to have saunas open earlier than the after lunch access only. No everyone skis. Also, asking for too much here, would have been lovely to have a spa, not only a pool. Also a mini fridge in the room would have been welcome.
- They should also offer caffeine free coffee on request.
