Hôtel Cerise Auxerre

It was the lowest price hotel in the area, and was a short taxi ride from the airport. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the entry area inviting.

The room itself was extremely stark and basic, with cheap furnishings and uncomfortable beds. The bathroom was very small and uninviting. It reminded me of an airplane lavatory, and I could barely fit into the shower.

There are two things to highlight about this place: Very friendly personal and price.

For this price I did not expect to sleep in Palace, but rooms were looking like ship cabin: small, with plastic uni shower/toilet. Very tiny rooms without AirCon and very dusty

Beds were comfortable. It is clean. Handy becaise just off the motorway. Breakfast had all the basics bread/ croissanterie/ham and cheese.

Carpark is not locked at night. Bathrooms are just tiny plastic cubicles . Some rooms are mouldy.

Nothing special, good price for sleep one night during the trip in one bed.

The check out is at 11:00 but on booking is write 11:50( wrong )And I don’t see available water to buy in the automatic machine

Good location for travel stop, just off the autoroute

The place is nice and it was close to the highway.

The bathroom was really tiny and the bedroom as well. It's ok for one night, but I would add at least some coat rack and there wasn't any bathroom rug (and only one towel per person).

The location was close to the main road and lots of Park lots available.Bedsheets where clean.

The room was smelling. The shower was to small.

Bright and clean very helpful gentleman checked us in. Good location near the motorway .. easy to find.

Could have done with some hangers in room!! Also a small table or shelf to place things on.. Just had to put stuff on the floor..?!

Dirty floor, nothing like the pictures

Our room looked nothing like the pictures. The floor (carpet) was extremely dirty, most of the originally red carpet now black.The bathroom was like in a mobile home, full plastic, the shower a triangle with each side about 40 cm long.

Hotel was filthy. Horrible experience.

It was bearable for a night.

The room didn't match any of the pictures online. You had to drive to the 'local' bars and restaurants. The bathroom was tiny and not very appealing. It was very hot and musty in the room but we didn't want to open the window because we were on the ground floor. There were squished bugs on the curtains too.

The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. I had a question pre-arrival, which was also answered very quickly and politely.

The carpet in my room was gross ? I have seen hotel carpets before and am aware that it’s not easy to keep them clean. but this one was really filthy and looked like it has a life of its own by now. Also the bathroom was so small that I had to open the door in order to dry myself off after showering - and I am a tiny person. And every time I turned on the water (both sink and shower) it sounded like some heavy machinery was being operated.
