    • Great location for us as a stop along the highway. Was a little like a travel back in time, to a simple, yet clean accommodation. Really happy with the value for the price!
    • This place is a hidden gem! It’s located in the middle of the mountains and it was an absolutely wonderful stay! The staff were so warm and friendly and the hotel cozy and warm. The bar and restaurant were a real surprise! Fabulous food the best I have had in Italy. I absolutely recommend it if you want a warm, friendly rustic stay !! We will definitely be back next year!
    • We stayed here just for one night while visiting the outlet and it was such a pleasant surprise. The price was fantastic and the location in a quiet village was perfect. There was plenty of parking right at the entrance. The hosts were very kind and welcoming, and the restaurant served really delicious food at very fair prices. Even the chickens and roosters walking around made the place feel authentic and charming.

    Cons -

    • There was nothing to dislike .
    • No air conditioning, which made it very hard to sleep in the August heat. Yes, I know it was not listed in the description, but still — it’s almost impossible to stay comfortably when it’s over +30°C outside. With AC this place would easily be a perfect 10/10.
    • It was a softer bed than we are used to. A kettle in the room would be good.

Lovely and welcoming proprietor. Large room. We also had a lovely meal in the evening with a great atmosphere. I'd definitely stay here again. Excellent value for money.

It was a softer bed than we are used to. A kettle in the room would be good.

We stayed for one night and we had a wonderful time! All the staff was super friendly and some of them spoke English. The room was very spacious and comfortable, with a big private bathroom. We had dinner at the restaurant and they offered us some ?vegan options that were delicious: marinara pizza, veggie pizza and garlic spaghetti. Our waitress Colette was very helpful and friendly. It's conveniently located and it has a nice, quiet garden. Highly recommended!

Traditional Italian hotel with quality antique furniture, paintings on the walls, and nice touches such as bottled water in the fridge (although the fridge could have been cleaner), toiletries, and the option of yellow-dimmed bedside lighting and above the bathroom mirror. Plenty of on-site parking, a good shower, comfortable bed and good bedding. Accompanied by a friendly, bustling restaurant filled with happy locals, and serving home-cooked food at sensible prices. Breakfast was fantastic - good coffee, juice, yogurts, eggs, plenty of ham and cheese, focaccia, butter, water… I was made very welcome, felt really looked after and right at home, and wish I could have stayed longer than 1 night. I’d stay again in a heartbeat. A good option if you’re driving to or from the Genoa ferry as it’s only a 40-minute drive.

Nothing, they took from my bank card 2 times money. And third time I paid in hotel with card. Horrible people , dirty restaurant, they don't clean dusty everywhere, no light on parking, there was a lot of broken class on parking space empty bottles, horrible coffee at never change tablecloth. I sent you pictures of my money transferred to hotel -restaurant dinner and accommodation for 2 night as it was asked on booking. And then they they took 2 times 97.50 from booking. I need my money back

Nothing is good, trying to steel money as much as it possible

The staff (everyone spoke some level of English which is quite rare in Italy), the food, the antique spirit of the hotel. We were very aware of where we were coming so there were no surprises. It may not be the case for other people.

There's no signage that there is a hotel, only a restaurant and a bar - maybe the only thing to improve

We were traveling to Savona to take a 15 days cruise, because of that, we started our journey one day earlier and we arrived at the property about 21, we received our rooms and because the restaurant closes at 22, we went to the restaurant to have pizza. Do not miss the pizzas, I can say one of the best pizzas I ever had! The hotel is an old one which renovated but is not modern one. You do not have anything to do in the area, just eating and sleeping (exactly fitted us).

The rooms were not warm enough and the heating system was not working (it was off from the center). They said that they have connection issue with their POS and we had to pay cash for the restaurant and rooms.

The host was friendly, the dinner was also delicious. Easy to check in and find.

It was not clean. The floor of the bathroom was dirty and full of hair.

It's a good place to stay outside of Genoa. The hosts are nice, the restaurant is very good, and a huge supermarket is nearby.

They serve amazing breakfast and offer as much coffee as you want. Spacious room with own bathroom/toilet. Quiet and calm area, great for resting ;)

People, staff, food, beer, breakfast and their small dog

very old style, needs to get refresh...

Staff was very kind, helpful and thoughtful. It is nice to have the breakfast served instead of buffet. No a-la-carte "options" just ask what you need if not served already.

Fridge was not working but they resolved.

We were able to book in the middle of the night travelling with a baby. Fast check in and the room was big and in order. We even had breakfast for a room rate that was really affordable. You don’t find such a deal near Genova that easily. We had an emergency and the owner + staff have been supra helpful and friendly. Many thanks for looking after us.

    8WernerPosted on: 6-18-2024

last minute booking on my way home...the price certainly exceeded ANY expectation, 40 euro incl breakfast...that is a hell of a deal...the property was nice, quiet and a bit isolated. the room was bigger then my previous 4 star hotels (!)accomodations and breakfast were good, certainly for 40 euro a night...

actually nothing, i was quiet happy to get a hotel and a good night sleep !

We loved everything. The room was spacious and clean and they prepared a delicious vegan meal for us in the evening. They are also pet-friendly and welcomed our beagle to the hotel and restaurant.

Cool place close to the highway. We stopped here halfway of our way to central Italy and we did not mind it. There are a lot of facilities: local restaurant with good food and big parking space. One tip: close the windows during the night because there are local animals which can be noisy in the early morning (like rooster). The owner and the little dog was a great plus.
