    Amazing location. Super friendly staff.

I know it’s an old structure, but I expected it to be more clean. Room looked like it had not been dusted (lamps and shades along bed) and found other’s hair in clumps in corners of bathroom and around base of bed. Yuck.

Great room, delicious breakfast, friendly and helpful staff!

Stairs on the side of the building may be difficult for some, especially with luggage.

    Central location

Hard to find parking. Breakfast in low supply. Not too friendly staff

It was so authentic. The location is amazing, right in the center of everything. How often do you sleep in a 500 year old house. It was also the first time in ages the host carried my bags up stairs for me. Behind the house are the stairs leading to the Burg. What a view. If you are looking for something modern go to a hotel. If you want a real experience come here. Breakfast served in the wine cellar was terrific. That is also open but not every day. My room was among the rooftops. Loved it.

If you are unable to do stairs, this would not be for you. Parking is off site but the host let me park outside until the lot was less crowded. Over night parking cost me 3.50 e and a short walk.

Excellent location for old town.Very friendly and helpful welcome.

Very steep steps up to the bike storage room.Small bedroom and en suite.

Overall it was good. Cute nook in one of our rooms. Fun eating area. Friendly staff. Great location for a gorgeous hike to the castle just above it.

Found several bugs in both rooms. Bathrooms weren't well lit. Don't like dealing with a physical key to my room that's tied to a little chunk of wood.

Brilliant location in the centre of the Old Town. Very comfortable large room, good breakfast and friendly staff. Thank you

Felt amazing living in an ancient and one of the most photographed buildings in Miltenberg. The Hotel is located adjacent to the church and a stone throw away from the Main river. The suite was beautiful with a quaint covered balcony.Everything about the place felt really old and historic.Breakfast was good. The staff were very nice.Would recommend this place to anyone who would like to stay in Miltenberg.

Would have been nice to have some locking arrangements for the bathroom doors.

    - Big comfortable room- Wonderful view overlooking the square- Old charm- Wonderful breakfast. Person in charge of the breakfast room was welcoming and warm.

Very basic needs not met.- Wifi is practically unusable in the room. Receptionist says it is an old house. I can accepted it is an old house. However in this day and age, this excuse is not acceptable anymore in my book.- Shampoo and soap containers were empty.- Some parts of the bathroom feel like they are unfinished. E.g. vent cover not installed properly. Just one screw 'holding' the cover. There was another 'hole/outlet' that was not covered - may be for something the hotel will install at some stage.

Enjoyed my stay in this historic building on the pedestrian square of charming Miltenberg. Depending on which room you have you need to watch your head on the beams! The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.

The WiFi was quite slow. The bells on the church next door rang quite loudly at about 0615. You have to park a few blocks away and walk up a cobblestone street with your luggage. Honestly to me these were all a small price to pay for staying in a cool old building!

Right in the center of the townParking was easyQuiet at nightBreakfast was great! Fresh eggs cooked for you!Staff were very kind and helpful!

Room needed to be cleaned better. Many cobwebs and a lot of dust.

The location was perfect, the room tidy, comfy bed. It is a beautiful Periodic building.

    9NicholasPosted on: 11-28-2023

I would highly recommend this hotel! The staff is kind and accommodating, and our room was very comfortable and spacious. The hotel is in a historic building in the main town square. It’s the perfect location for being able to walk to everything. The city museum and the castle are both a short walk from the hotel. The breakfast was great, and offered a nice array of choices. You will probably struggle for a while to find the hotel when you first arrive because the signage isn’t good, but it will all be worth it! I highly recommend visiting the village of Miltenberg, and I highly recommend staying in this hotel. My dad and I loved it, and we wish we had stayed a third night. Miltenberg was our first stop after picking up the rental car at the Frankfurt airport, and it was a great way to start our first trip to Germany!

There was nothing that we didn’t like about this hotel! As I mentioned earlier, we struggled for a while to find it (even when we were standing right in front of it!) because their signage isn’t clear. It was totally worth the effort though!

Exactly what we had hoped for when visiting a small German village. Hot breakfast prepared by owner/chef. Dinner menu limited but meals we choose prepared with perfection. Owners and staff welcoming and helpful. Hope to return on another visit. Town is quintessential German small village.

Some stairs to reach it and a few inside to room as well but I managed even at age 80.

Wonderful 500 year old building with traditional furnishings and an incredible breakfast room. Friendly staff. Conveniently situated in the main town square close to all attractions. Breakfast basic but tasty. Room was cosy.

    Amazing history and location

The proximity of the church and its bell makes it hard to sleep. Bring ear plugs and close the windows
