Pros +
- It was very modern, close to the beach. The breakfast was good and had a lot of variety. The rooms were spacious and we had a wonderful view of the sea.
- The Staff
- superb location and room with fanrastic sea view and a large balcony at a very good price.
Cons -
- The beds were not comfortable and the pillows too firm for my comfort.
- Cleanliness of the room and the dinning room, the paint was peeling off the wall and paint chips were on the floor in the room, the night stand had food crumbs from a previous guest on it.
- breakfast was very poor and people were already cleaning at 9am ... probably a thing than you can experience off season

Optimal position of the structure, very nice view on the sea.Very nice and kind staff
The bed was not what I had requested, a part of the window handle was broken, the hairdryer was broken too, and the little mirror in the bath was cracked on the back.
Beatiful view from the room to the see. Comfortable and large bed.
I was after the summer season, few days after floods in Emilia-Romania, so maybe few things can be understand. In swimming pool water was cold and not so clean, which was poor alternative to the see, where swimming was impossible. When I booked a room I was looking at animation team, but I don't know if they still worked. If You travel by train, is far to the hotel from Cervia Centre and train station. There are buses running, but I didn't manage to catch one. If you have a small luggage, the best way is travel by electric scooter. You can rent it, there are a lot of them on the street.
The location of the hotel is good
Here’s a shorter version of your review, keeping your wording:This was our third time at Hotel Adria. The first two stays were great, but this time was horrible.Check-in: Rooms were only ready after 3 pm. We inquired about possibly dining at the hotel; the receptionist took this as a confirmation, adding an obligatory charge for dinner.Room: Despite requesting and upgrading to a 5th-floor room for the view, we were assigned to the first floor as the 5th floor was fully booked. After much discussion, we settled on the first floor and were told the upgrade fee would be reduced, which was not honored at checkout.Stay: The air conditioning only works with all windows closed, and the temperature can't be set below 23 degrees. Prices at the bar varied depending on the staff, ranging from 5 to 7 euros for two cans of Coke.Maintenance: The hotel is poorly maintained with visible damage like broken tiles at the entrance, leaking air conditioning on our floor, and poorly fitted balcony doors in our room.Checkout: The receptionist lacked authority, requiring frequent back-office consultations. We contested charges for the dinner we never had and the unwaived comfort plus fee. We left after an hour, paying the full amount.
The hotel matches the price. The breakfasts were rich and delicious, the appetizers for dinner as well (in the form of a buffet). The rest of the dinner is served, mostly it was good, except the fish. You are entitled to more courses than you can eat. All drinks including beer and good wine were free. The hotel has two pools that are not overcrowded, so it's nice there. All the inland rooms have a beautiful view of the pine forest and a minimum of buildings, the description of the hotel does not exaggerate in this matter. The surroundings are much nicer than usual in touristic areas, it is such a large forest.
Our room had a bathtub instead of a shower, which is impractical. You have to know the rules, which you have to find out for yourself, not from funny signs like "pay your spending four days before departure" or "we will fine you for taking a drink outside the bar") It is always necessary to come to the beginning of dinner, it ends at 8:45 at 8:50 PM they won't even give you a glass of water. They will not tell you at the reception that you have a discount for the beach. The reception staff has some problems with English, overall there is a bit of confusion (the cleaning ladies change clean towels, they want to clean just before departure, the reception does not record car license plates and as a result cannot solve that someone is blocking the roads in the hotel parking lot). Parking was a big problem on arrival, we couldn't fit in the hotel car park, there were no free or paid spaces on the street and there is no real car park for miles around. Later we were able to fit into the parking lot, but the staff never know if there is free space or not. The beach is quite expensive, the public beach is about 400 meters away.
Location is good, easy accessibility to the beach
The rooms are very old and moderately smelly. The stuff are Not fluent English speakers but they were friendly.
Hotel staff who clean, breakfast and reception very pleasant. Location with a view of the sea.
It was not pleasant for a business trip because I was accommodated in a section that looked like a dormitory where a school of students stayed one day, German teenagers the next. In the middle of the night, an incredible rumble and noise, voices from the operation woke me up from sleep. The door of the room had no protection against noise, the floor was made of tiles. The shower stall had a broken shampoo shelf. Breakfast was from 7-30 in the morning and if you need a meeting from 8 it is complicated. WiFi didn't work one day. Although I wanted an invoice for accommodation in the wish request, I did not receive this, with the fact that the hotel staff did not know about it and I only received a receipt.
Sea view, restaurant staff, parking lot and tennis court.
One of Hotel in italy and milano marittima alone , that have Fb ! is the future for hotel , became a Resort , and more Luxury
Old stile !
Good breakfast, big and clean room and bathroom, available parking in front of the hotel on the street. Nice view.Very good value for the money.
Woderful sea view, very good dinners! Good value for money.
It was far from the train station and we had to spend money for taxies because buses go very rarely.
Seaview and dinners.
The hotel is too far from the train station, hard to get, Had to use taxies.
Since we were staying out of the season we liked that it was calm, parking was always available in front of the hotel and the beach access was also nice.
We stayed 4 nights and had 4 breakfasts. Each time the scrambled eggs were cold?! We stayed in lower rated hotels were eggs were prepared fresh in front of you or were at least warm/hot. One time the cleaning lady entered our room without knocking or anything, she just opened the room and tried to enter?! Not cool at all. Our room was at the end of the hallway and the wifi sometimes worked, sometimes it didn't. One evening there was no warm water to shower... very strange.
The view to the sea.
Breakfast poor.Room not renovatedFurniture very old.
Large room with a generous balkony. Clean. Very few guests since off season. Surrounding area completely dead, almost gost like. Sumptuous breakfast with an extensive selection. We booked including dinner - this was a really good deal and value for money.
Our room would need some attention to detail, toilet would only flush after some effort, sink could not drain since plug was stuck, safe did not work. Swimmingpool was green with algy and obviously not maintained.
It was very nice ti receive the beach accommodation free of charge
1) The facility was not well maintained. The third bad, added for our son that paid full price even if he is only 2 years old, was absolutely not comfortable. The hairdryer was broken in several rooms, the entrance door required multiple tries to get open while the shower door required multiple tries to get closed. The heater in the bathroom was dirty showing signs of rust or leakage, the smaller button to flush water wasn't working and in the shower the main outlet was also not working. 2) in those days were there wasn't sun, the shower was cold, probably because their solar panels were not providing enough power. This is unacceptable.3)The walls between communicating rooms is basically a sheet of paper that let's every noise through. 4) the buffet was low quality. I understand that this might be a matter of taste, but I have been in several hotels rated 4 star, and this is more like a 3 star quality food(maybe with a wider choice)5) they are still using plastic straws and glasses. One would expect more consideration from people living in front of the sea.
The breakfast was okay
I don’t know who habe this hotel 4 stars its far away. The staff are not welcoming or helpful at all and the facility looks more like a construction side then anything else.
it’s old hotel with old furniture and interior. but stuff tried to do theirs best.
