    • Very nice, calm facility. Small gym but not crowed. Very nice restaurant. 5 stars the chef. Small museu, nearest. Visit guided to mines, not to lose.
    • Modern hotel in old town and very functional.Well insulated as even on 2 nights with low sub 10c temps, there was no need to use any heating in the room. Good sized room and bathroom. Bonus point for quality toilet paper and not the usual 'bog standard' as in most hotels.Street parking available close to the hotel.Amazing roof terrace with 360° views.

    Cons -

    • The breakfast could have some more variety…but this is just an opinion and not something we didn’t like it.
    • We didn't have much interaction with staff apart from check in and check out and didn't have breakfast of dinner in the hotel so can't comment on them.I would have expected breakfast to be included for the price we paid but it would have been an extra €10 per person.
    • The WiFi was very erratic, especially in the room. There was also an issue with condensation. I was sleeping by the window and when I got out of bed in the morning I stepped in a pool of water!

Very efficient and friendly staff. The young woman at reception when we checked in was remarkably enthusiastic and informative about local activities and sights. Very comfortable beds

Quiet, clean rooms, with comfortable beds. It's my 3rd stay this year. The room sizes are great and the bathroom is great size and stocked well.

No longer provide water in the room to drink. Some of the decoration in the room was looking tired.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the sauna and upper terrace. The restaurant was nice.

Bed was very uncomfortable, too hard. The air wouldn’t stay on and got really warm in the middle of the night. We Didn’t get much sleep.

We would not recommend this pricey but rundown hotel.

The place was horrible, we had no proper window, only one which had a close direct view on the breakfast place, what an idea! The mattress was old and terrible. The gym is outdated and dirty. We were not able to use the rooftop as there was extremely strong wind. There is absolutely nothing to do there.

Location excellent, very central. The staff is very nice and supported promptly on solving an issue with our room. Overall the hotel is very pleasant with good facilities.

    - I consider breakfast a bit expensive for the quality of the offer. Only boiled eggs, no scrambled or fried. Bread offer was also a bit limited, not including the local "Alentejano Bread"- Our first room was bad. Very noisy as we could hear some outside machines working all night and also the Air Conditioning was pointing directly to the bed.- The shower drain was not working properly

Location was good and airco worked and room had a fridge

missing a normal chair to work on. Bed's were two singles instead of one large. Missing a water boiler to make coffee. And I assume after cleaning or post inspection someone left my room door open with all my stuff in the room including a laptop and persenal belongings. Staff did not realy reacted. "Someone must have fogotten to close". Which was tue.

The big bed, and the somewhat recent and good tv!Big bed are a plus!

It was hard to find a place to eat on the weekend, because they close the restaurant !

The rooms are very clean and modern. The staff are great and really handled any request very well.

The air con system and vents are very loud. The breakfast offers limited options. Check-in takes some time. Pillows are not very comfortable.

    Clean, updated, good breakfast

Cold water in the shower, also noticed by another colleague in another room a couple of weeks ago. Everything else was fine.

Elegant space, beautifully decorated, the room was very comfortable and clean, very quiet aircon and good sound proofing from the windows. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Make sure you check for events in the beautiful park at the end of the road if you want a quiet evening, I stumbled on a rock concert for motorbikers that lasted until 4:50 in the morning, the windows did a great job but it would be impossible not to hear it, so although the bed as very comfy not much sleep. That was my fault not the hotel as these events are a once a year event. On the other hand if you are a motorbiker you will love it. I did wake up with the swallows noise which was wonderful and I will stay again.

We were traveling south and needed a stopover for one night as our plane arrived after dark. This hotel is about 1 1/2 hours south of Lisbon and we wanted to continue the following day through the countryside and not on the motorway to Tavira. So I searched for a new, modern, minimal decor hotel and found this. It was perfect and at a great price. The room was very relaxing, (almost spa-like) quiet and there was a lovely view of the hills. Parking was free and easy to find on the street. The hotel also had a restaurant which they graciously kept open for us as we arrived at 9:30pm. The restaurant was upscale and very good. The staff were all very professional and helpful. We continued the next day and took the route that passed through the castle town of Mertola. I highly recommend that drive. It was lovely! We did not get a chance to look around Aljustrel as we were just passing through but as we understood it was a mining town.

The lift was broken and we had some heavy luggage. Also the refrigerator was not turned on which took the hotel some time to figure out how to do it. It then took an hour or so to cool.
