Knockranny House hotel & Spa

Thank you so much for taking such good care of my parents while in Ireland. When they arrived they were tired from several days of touring which had them tired and weary. They had a magical experience with you!

There wasn't anything they didn't love, the room was gorgeous and spacious, the food was amazing, the staff was incredibly hospitable, and their (bonus) spa treatment was just what they needed at the end of a long journey.

Breakfast was wonderful Breakfast room and views were amazing and our room was speechless is was amazing and extremely big made us feel like vip and our spa treatment was amazing and felt very relaxing

D pool was very cold

Top notch in all regards. Luxurious stay with extremely comfortable beds. My husband wanted to cancel the rest of our trip to stay longer. Breakfast was excellent. Would return in a heartbeat.

Lovely room and nice facilities.

Long walk to our room as it’s a big hotel.Poorly fitted out gym. Only cardio equipment. Opening time of 7.30 is too late.

The staff is excellent. Ian makes the perfect martini. Views are spectacular. Accomodations were larger than expected. Had an outdoor patio that was perfect for an evening nightcap. AND the food was some of best we had during our entire trip through Ireland.

Gorgeous grounds and hotel!

The pool could have been a bit warmer and there were a few broken things in that area (one steam room, a jet in the pool, etc).

Large room, comfortable, great staff.

Restaurant ran out of tomahawk steaks and did not update the menu outside. Went there specifically for the steak and didn’t find out until we placed the order and left the restaurant.

The property is in lovely grounds. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff were really helpful and the food was brilliant.While we were there my husband was taken ill, the staff couldn’t have been more helpful, not obtrusive just quietly offering any help required.I owe them a huge thank you for helping us in our time of crisis.I would highly recommend.

Stunning views. Walking distance to town. Westport is a Trad music lovers paradise.

The bathroom was nice and updated. Bedroom needs some updating. We loved how it was outside of the town, the exterior and lobby area was stunning, We enjoyed the bar area and being able to sit around the fireplace to hear the stories. It was nice to have plenty of parking and being able to park with ease.

The gentleman at the front desk was rude, never even looked up when we arrived and checked in. When we asked any questions, he was short and acted like we were imposing.

Everything starting from the reception with a nice smile to the spacious room and bathroom and daily cleaning services.

Beautiful location in Westport. Staff in hotel were exceptionally friendly and courteous. Bed was very comfortable and breakfast was lovely . Kayleigh was a superb therapist in the Spa

Property was a bit dated , and my room was smaller than advertised. I thought it would have a view but the window faced a wall of another wing in the property. The pool was very cold which is very unusual in a spa hotel . You’d probably be warmer in the sea! No jacuzzi, and towel I was given in spa was literally falling to bits it was so frayed and thin . Small things like these compromise the overall quality of the hotel .

Very spacious and quiet. Good amenities. Enjoyed the sauna, steam room and pool. Food is good. Short walk to town. Friendly staff.

The staff was wonderful and the booklet in the room was very helpful. Food was also fantastic.

Not able to get a taxi in town to hotel. I think most people drive so this won’t be a problem but for those with larger bags who take the train or bus it is a bit of a hike. Nice walk without luggage.

The staff was excellent. The breakfast was the best we’ve had on our trip so far!

The carpet had some stains on it. No air conditioning.

Large comfy room with shower and jacuzzi bath. I had a massage and it was exceptionally good.The food in the restaurant and in the bar was excellent and the staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful and always willing to go the extra mile to assist. The hotel is in a great location in Westport.

Some features in the Spa were not open for some reason (e.g. tropical rainforest) and the pool could have been a tad warmer. The lifts were not cleaned during our stay which was disappointing. No fridge in the bedroom.

I liked everything about Knockranny, the bar, the food, the leisure centre, the location, the view, and least but not last the staff

It’s a beautiful property in a lovely location and very clean.

Room didn’t have a safe in it and there was a lack of toiletries. No bathrobe’s or slippers in the room either. Whatever about toiletries and bathrobe I think a safe should be a must.

Everything. Location is great. Views are stunning, facilities are amazing, food is awesome and our Bedroom suite was stunning. Gardens are lovely, staff are helpful and kind. Price was really decent for the suite we booked.

They need better quality toilet paper. I've never had such thin paper in a hotel before. It was super cheap quality.The heat in the lift next to reception is unbearable, there must be a way to cool it.....we dreaded getting in it! Lastly, the option for a couple extra pillows would be nice.
