Ballina Manor Hotel

Receptionst was competent, nice, friendly, and beautiful!! Extremely courterous and helpful.

The maze of hallways and interior design. Location and parking were poor, extremely small and hard to negotiate for American drivers.

Really friendly staff and in central

Only one TV station was working and the information pack in the room needs up dating as some of the places on it are no longer in business and no room service menu

Food in the hotel restaurant was amazing. It kept us from eating out in the city. ;-)

Parking in the garage was challenging - not enough parking spaces. I traveled with my 91-year old mother who is fairly mobile and parking down the street was not an option for us. Luckily the food was so good we didn't go out much except for a few day trips to Knock and Ballycastle.

Room was clean and there were outlets on both sides of the bed. Bathroom was very clean.

- the room was roasting - there was a fan in the room and you could crack the window, but even with the radiator fully off, it was so warm.- the pillows are so hard and uncomfortable!- our view was awful - a dirty rooftop with a wall

The Ballina Manor Hotel is always where I stay when I return to my grandfather's place of birth in County Mayo. Set along the River Moy, it was lovely to have a drink and watch the activities along the river.

Really nice hotel by the river, nice and spacious room with 2 bathrooms which was a real surprise. Friendly staff, good breakfast

Parking is a bit tricky as you can’t go up to the hotel from parking lot via an elevator, and it’s a bit dark and hotel only has limited spaces.

The room was lovely and spotlessly clean. The shower and bed were perfect . Breakfast was delicious and staff were friendly and helpful

The bar in the hotel closed at 10.30 which was strange and people were coming in from a show and refused a night cap

The car park was full and had to park a reasonable distance away and got soaked get to reception.Didn’t make any sense as hardly anyone staying there.

Loved the sea view but also wanted a walk in shower but we managed ok. Staff were amazing throughout our stay.

Our room was very spacious and comfortable, Breakfast was very nice with a good selection. We also had dinner which was really good. Delicious good quality food. Location is excellent. Very central.

The location was great, the room was spacious and clean; and the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was very good. I also enjoyed the complimentary newspaper service available for guests to read.

At over €200 per night for a room, I thought it a bit on the expensive side. The parking spots in the underground car park were too small for average family cars.

Very friendly staff. Breakfast was great and the kids loved the offering. Great view out over the Moy from our bedroom. The number of fire doors on our corridor was a little overwhelming with 3 kids in tow! Location was great.

Hotel is a bit higgledypiggledy in terms of layout - stairs everywhere, levels all over the place which was strange. Overall a pleasant stay however. It is overpriced in my opinion. The swimming pool is gone, kids were very disappointed!

From start to finish a great experience, staff were so accommodating with dietary requirements, room had gorgeous view of river and then dinner topped off with candle lit and river view. From reception to waiters/waitresses outstanding. Will definitely be visiting again for the exceptional stay from start to finish.

Location.

It’s very expensive for a hotel with such basic amenities. Couldn’t sit in the bar area as no tables clean or cleared. Downstairs bar area also not open.

Would highly recommend this hotel. We were attending a wedding and the hotel was in a perfect location. Staff were excellent and the hotel was very clean. We got a suite which was big and beautiful. Thanks to Management & Staff for a lovely stay..

Loved the property, staff were so friendly and very helpful. Excellent service they couldn’t do enough for us. Very near the venue we were attending for a wedding .
