Westport Plaza Hotel, Spa & Leisure

Good location, service, and amenities. The food was good and the pork belly outstanding.

Overall, a pleasant stay with great amenities. However, the spa was overcrowded, with treatment timeouts and long waits. Disappointed by the experience. Better mid-week to avoid the crowds.

Breakfast included was a plus. Very comfy bed. Wonderful staff. Close to restaurants and shopping.

I was not aware that a wheel chair compliant room was assigned to us. I am not sure why as it was not requested, nor mentioned when booking. The bathroom was uncomfortable for those not in a wheel chair, wide open shower and tp far from very low seated toilet. Luckily there was another room available and the lovely young lady at the main desk was able to reassign us. Underground parking is very tight.

Convenient location to the center of town and comfortable. Lots of amenities. Very nice onsite restaurant.

Helpful, friendly staff, the ideal location and the plentiful breakfast made this stay worthwhile!

The room was spacious and clean. We arrived to wine and chocolates which was a nice little touch!

Large room, and bathroom, bathtub, lovely breakfast included. We swam in the pool and spa before dinner to stretch our backs after a lot of driving over this past week touring the south of Ireland.

Nothing. I wish we stayed two nights and did a walking tour!

Breakfast is outstanding, multiple options. The staff is wonderful, so welcoming and helpful. Location is perfect for walking throughout Westport, close to shopping and great pubs and restaurants. Rooms are very nice and very clean. Our second stay here.

The room was perfect, bed was very comfortable and clean. I tend to get claustrophobic in hotel rooms but not this time, because of the small balcony ; it is was so nice to have the door open and enjoy the fresh air. There was complimentary wine and water left daily which was appreciated. The connecting restaurant, Coveys, was very nice, breakfast was very good- especially the brown bread! We were within walking distance to pubs, shops in beautiful Westport town, it’s a lovely place! Employees were all very friendly and helpful.

The only thing missing were wash cloths. Other than that, no complaints.

Service was poor. We arrived late to the hotel and was told by the front desk that we would be able to eat dinner at the restaurant or bar. We quickly checked in and got to the bar at 8pm (dinner service ended at 9pm). We asked for a table and they told us they were fully booked. We sat at the Bar and ordered a drink. I am gluten free so I asked the bartender for a GF beer. We were approached by a different staff member, asking us if we were ordering food. She offered to sit us at one of the many tables that were empty. I took a sip of my beer and realized that it was not a GF beer. The next day we came back to our cleaned room (around 4pm )and found no towels. We asked housekeeping for towels and they said we would have to wait because they did not have any. They then entered our room my adult while son was sleeping , dropped the towels and a fan? I'm not sure why the fan was there, but it did seem as if the a/c may have been broken.

We had a lovely time. The room was spacious and big and had all the amenities that we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was big with great water pressure. All the staff was respectful and very polite, always happy to help. We had breakfast and dinner there and truly enjoyed our meals, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. We would definitely go back again!

Great hotel with an excellent gastro pub. Great location with spacious comfortable rooms. The staff were super nice

A bit pricey

Room was disappointing. Food was absolutely terrible at breakfast. I found that I could eat nothing on the buffet. Even the toast was tasteless.

Hotel seemed second-rate overall. Water did not drain out of our shower stall upon arrival.

excellent staff. very attentive and friendly. no towels upon arrival but quickly resolved by speaking to staff in hallway. breakfast was well equipped for everyone.

room in tv could not connect to hotel wifi.

Handy underground car park with a lift directly to the reception, large comfortable room with mini fridge, jacuzzi bath & large shower. The included breakfast was lovely and the pool/sauna/steam/hot tub facilities were also great!

Staff offered limited information on check in re. the leisure facilities, local area, check out etc but it wasn’t a major issue.
