I booked demi pension for my daughter and myself. It turned out I had to pay extra for my daughter. This marketing tric is not fair. I want to know from the start, when selecting the option, that my daughter's dinner wasn't included. The booking information was misleading.

Marie and the front desk crew was great.

Second floor sound like a playground. Kids constantly run in hall. Breakfast, 50/50. Bacon was undercooked and not sure what was used to make "eggs" Pool area needs attention

The staff very friendly and helpful.

The air conditioner doesn’t work well.No verity of eggs type in the breakfast only scrambled.The exercise room is too tiny, only one treadmill.

Personnel was overall ready to help... to some extent.

This hotel does not look like a NOVOTEL, but more like a motel, with a horizontal distribution of rooms generating long walks to go any where. It is VERY NOISY: the closing of neighbor rooms makes a real rattle which can be painful when a bus load of tourist is leaving early in the morning. The management process is complex and suspicious (the form to fill in when you leave something for overnight cold storage is complex and constitutes a leonine clause). The duty personnel at the reception is sometimes reasonably competent, at times completely incompetent (I never managed on the day of arrival to get my credit card registered so that I could charge my meals and incidentals to the room, and had to pay each time I generated a spending). There is no fridge in the room, there is no safe in the room: this is clearly SUB STANDARD. Food at the restaurant is "so so" and expensive. In summary: this is NOT what I expect from a NOVOTEL.

Passable

The room was boiling hot despite it being only mid-April - the aircon was largely ineffective. We had to open the window wide to be able to sleep, and because we were on the ground floor, we did not feel very safe.

The breakfast was delicious. The room was spacious. The lobby/restaurant were modern and spacious. Staff were very friendly. Bed was incredibly comfortable. Short drive to Dijon.

That the playground had been removed. Our room felt a little dated. That we couldn’t put air conditioning on. That the noise of people walking/running up the stairs reverberated through our room.

Room was very snug for 4 people, and very hot! But fine for one night as a stopover whilst driving through France.

Stylish bar and restaurant area. Spacious family room. Good breakfast. Good size car park.

Check in was good, friendly staff. Room was very hot, air con not working put out hot air not cold. Room for 3 people but only had 2 cups & 2 bath towels. Sound travels in this hotel, could hear doors banging all night. Don't think I'd book again when travelling

Great location of the hotel, about 20ish minutes by bus or 10 by car to Dijon. Great for exploring the city but also as a stop between the French Alps and UK if you are travelling by car. Staff was extremely pleasant and breakfast selection was great. You could also buy a bit of Dijon mustard and locally made honey at reception. We will certainly consider the place again!

Excellent value for money. A few things could be improved such as better toys in the kids corner, but I'm nitpicking. The rooms have been re-decorated and loom excellent. The restaurant is good.

Comfy room. Coffee and tea. Great shower products.

No bar food or vending machine, only bag of crisps if you arrive late and kitchen in closed or simply need a snack. Very noisy

I like that they accept dogs, but 13 Euros are expensive. The breakfast price is prohibitive, so we went to a fab ANGE bakery down the street and had a perfect breakfast

On booking it says electrical charging is available but the hotel right away refuses all connection with the chargers in the courtyard. In the morning we understood why. The bill for charging and parking was 55€! It’s not ok to accept the benefit and then not warn the customers about the scam. On the charging station different prices are displayed. No more Qwello for me!

They need renovation. Breakfast is expensive for such quality.

The hotel was perfect for my needs and my dog and I were made very welcome, in the the hotel, the bar and the restaurant. It was so good that I rebooked it for my return journey and will book it again next year when I make the same trip.

The hotel is getting older and some rooms are tired. But then, the prices were good, the staff was great, food was excellent so who cares.

Very rude staff

The reception staff were rude. Our room wasn't clean. The bed sheets were not done correctly. Half the duvet was out of the sheet. The shower head wasn't working properly and made the whole bathroom floor soaking. I have complained to novotel but the communications rubbish. Once I received a response they wrote it in French. They knew I was English and they responded in English at the start but proceeded to write in French. Again very rude. I'm still awaiting a response...I'm a travel agent and will not let my clients stay there.

We have stayed here many times as it is very convenient.

Somr of the carpets are worn out and the loo seat is in need of replacement in room 143

Location was very good for our needs (in transit towards Belgium). Breakfast was very good as well.

The room in which we stayed was outdated: old furniture (including a missing drawer), pretty outdated and dark toilet and bathroom. The room was cold and the heating did not really heat (in early March), which was uncomfortable for us.

Nice size room, very clean and the receptionist was very friendly on my arrival. The hotel restaurant provided fantastic food and service also.
