I had trouble getting in even though it wasn't late (19.30). There was nobody in reception and the door was locked. The entry / registration machine was out of order. I had to call for assistance and was instructed to go to reception at the hotel 200 metres away. Annoying after a tiring day of travel! Instructions in advance would have been helpful and would have eliminated anxiety and time wasted.

Excellent location on the outskirts of Chartres- nice restaurant nearby- clean and good value for money

It had what we needed and was clean and comfortable enough.

Didn't receive information about room number and access code until after we had arrived. The machine wouldn't work so had to press the call button. Also no information given about breakfast being served in the other hotel, either emailed, on the closed hotel door or inside the reception area.

The staff was really nice

Very convenient for our overnight stay on a very long journey.

We did not like the unfriendly welcome we got at reception.

Comfortable bed

Broken toilet. Radiator pipes banging ALL night. No one there even in the hours they were supposed to be. After walking up 2 flights of stairs to the room ( disabled) and getting partially undressed, it was not convenient to get in the car and drive to the B &B next door to complain. Also we had been driving all day with another long drive ahead!We had to leave at 5 in the morning. After emailing head office, no reply! NEVER again - even though we have stayed many times before.

It was clean, for a budget hotel we have absolutely no complaints, it met our needs, the shower was hot and powerful, beds comfortable.

Awful, avoid

Everything, cockroaches, no kitchen facilities, no reception, staff letting themselves into your rooms. I have messaged the property and I have not heard back. The rate we paid was also a lot higher than the rate advertised on the day. Would not recommend and am awaiting a refund!

Used as an annex for sister hotel up road. No staff in the hotel itself. Breakfast only available at other hotel This should have been made known at time of booking.

The location suited me fine, I've used the hotel before.I didn't have breakfast as I needed an early start. I slept well and the bed was comfortable.

The rooms need cheering up a bit but they are clean and comfortable.

We thought we could book and get breakfast in the morning but grumpy "host" said there wasn't enough bread or croissants! But we were saved by McDonalds just opposite that opened at 9am. There is an Aldi close by too.

Miserable staff. Annoying procedure to pay and get entry too. Bery time consuming!

This hotel is perfectly functional for our needs. It had a great layout for the kids to all enjoy a bit more space than at other hotels. It was clean and easy to check in.

The breakfast option on offer was limited.

Bad experience

Very bad experience, the room was terribly freezing, heating wasn't working extremely cold, level of humidity very high inside the room although heating wasn't working, water dropping from ceiling and accumulation of water on the window due to high humidity level I took photos which proves that, I booked for two nights, at first night I found out all these issues I reported to booking.com to cancel one night and get refund for one night which I didn't stay, only stayed one night and booked perfect choice for next day, booking.com communicated with the hotel owner but the hotel owner didn't pay me refund for one night which I didn't stay there despite I cancelled it one night in advance, anyway keep away from this hotel
