Pros +
- The room was clean and a good size. The view from the balcony was excellent, but the balcony itself needed attention.
- A quirky little gem with a wonderful location and great food
- Right on the waterfront, on site bar and restaurant makes the is a good GR34 stop
Cons -
- The downstairs was not very clean or tidy and there was no reception as such. On our arrival there was no one to check us in.There is no lift, so we needed someone to help take our cases up to our room on the top floor - and someone did.
- Parking was tricky. More information about what was available and what to do if the public parking outside the hotel was not available as happened when we first arrived would be useful.
- Some confusion over times for breakfast, given the impression that we could only access it at 8.30am (too early) but I think something was lost in translation on that! WiFi didn't work for most of the stay. Balcony furniture a bit uncomfortable for sitting out for any length of time!

There was somewhere safe to leave our bikes. We ate in the restaurant at the hotel, which was exceptionally good.
There was a smell of cigarette smoke in the communal areas.
Beautifully located on the harbour, excellent views, very peaceful and relaxing. Exceptionally clean, and very comfortable.
Nothing to dislike. All good.
Great location, good breakfast
Very nice location. It was odd that all bar one of the local restaurants was closed for most of the time we were there . The exception was La dame de nage...very friendly and good food.
Beautiful port side hotel Great restaurant Lovely views from balconies Perfect location They very kindly stored our bikes in the old information kiosk.
It's in a lovely setting, good rooms, and some with Balcony Just a great place be back soon.
Everything. No lift, but for us, no lift and the restaurant is fantastic ...Fish soup fantastic and [Dover] sole a real treat
A little gem. Perfect for a peaceful getaway. Even though they accommodated for me being coeliac, they refused to charge me for breakfast as i “did not eat much”
Not the hotel’s fault but booking.com says there is free parking. Straight away the hotel confirmed that there is no parking on site but you can park in the village. Only problem, this does not include market or fete days (which covered 2 days of our 3 day stay!)
Fabulous location. Clean rooms with fantastic sea views. We stayed here on a room only basis, but noticed that the restaurant was always very busy and seemed extremely popular.
Bedrooms are only available on the second and third floor (no lift) and parking is on the street, which could be problematical especially for people with limited mobility.
The location was fantastic and the room, bed and bathroom very comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities and they did give me some milk when i went down to the bar to ask for some. I had booked a seaview room with balcony. The balcony was quite petite but directly overlooking the harbour so there was always a buzz to watch. We ate one night in the restaurant which was very good if a little pricey.
The staff were ok and efficient but having just stayed in a very helpful friendly hotel in Erquy we found these a little stand-offish. Breakfast was quite ordinary, basket of bread, croissant etc, just orange juice and three pieces of pear each morning brought to the table, although a bottle of apple juice was brought from the bar when I asked for some, same with yoghurt, none on offer so again it was fetched when we asked. Just jam and butter, no other choice. Because it was a small room with only six tables we felt very self conscious when we walked in.Again compared with our hotel in Erquy who offered a wide choice for just 2 euros more we were disappointed.
The location and view
No lift, no toilet door Cigarette buts left in ashtray on the balcony and the room smelt of smoke
Fantastic location beautiful room and views - dinner in restaurant was outstanding
Everything. Position is perfect overlooking the bay and within walking distance of my friends home.Fabulous!Rooms are good, bed comfortable. What more could one ask for?!
The position on the harbour front
The bedroom being on the third floor, which was difficult having had knee surgery. Coffee and tea and water not given on the second day in the room. No help with luggage . Had a meal the first night which was just ok. No change of towels or cleaning In bathroom.
Good size bedroom, plenty of hot water and view of beach and sea.
On finding our key in box entered hotel and climbed first flight of stairs to be met by bucket of dirty water, mop and vacuum cleaner which we had to move to get to our room. Room quite good but lacked bedside tables and bathmat. Breakfast inadequate for price. Only a basket of bread/croissants and first morning chutney not jam. Not the usual standard we had had in other hotels with a buffet of cold meats, cheese, fruit, yoghurt etc. Although bed was made waste paper baskets not emptied. Not good would not recommend for the price.
Everything. The room & the view also the staff were very friendly. The meal in the restaurant & service was excellent.
Almost everything really the balcony and beautiful vie. The great head waiter and the usual jolly lady who keeps everything brilliant
Maybe new balcony seats but all was good
The location, the staff, the restaurant
