    Pros +

    • Roomy breakfast roomSuperb breakfast with a wide choice of food
    • Location was advertised as B&B, but B&B was additional to my booking (i.e. my breakfast).
    • The location is super for access to the Car Ferry the next morning. Lovely power shower, superbly clean bathroom.

    Cons -

    • Nothing...perfect size
    • Difficult check-in. There was a telephone but no light, nor anyone there. I had to wait 40+mins until I connected via telrphone...not good.
    • I had informed Le Canada days in advance of my respiratory disability and had asked if they could ensure that my room was aired and free from artificial scent. They answered 'yes' but meant 'no'. My room stank dangerously, first of air freshener then of mould. I slept really badly, trying to breathe shallowly. Two days later, I'm still suffering. The pillows and sheets are cheap and nasty - foam and nylon. In addition, the mattress protector was a thick hard plastic, meaning that in between the nylon and the plastic, the body could not 'breathe', resulting in a sensation of wetness and cold. I woke up with static hair - I kid you not!

10 minute drive from the ferry port. Ideal location just a block away from the vast amazing beach. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Nothing too much trouble. We had a large family room. Beds very comfortable. Good eat as much as you like breakfast. Hotel was perfect for us.

I'm a very tall person so the loo was a bit on the small side. Everything else just fine.

    Convenient for ferry

Room was small especially the toilet!!!

Location. Close to beach. Close to Ouistreham

My room was a chalet in what used to be the car park. It was November. It was very cold with no heating in the bathroom. I was travelling alone and it didn’t feel very secure.

nice breakfast, central heating replaced by electric device, close to beach

    extensive beachview nearby

    Very helpful Manager

The floor had a slightly higher level, which was a trip hazard. But overall, it was a comfortable place to stay. Easy access, too.

Very friendly staff, great value, great accommodation, and in a great location.

Would have preferred coffee making facilities in the room

    10AllanPosted on: 10-24-2024

Easy to get to , self contained cabins in garden of house. Very friendly owner.

Wc was a squeeze between shower and we are quite slim, a larger person may struggle.

Friendly and helpful host on a wet and miserable evening. Room is small but perfect for a short stay. Great location with restaurants within 1km.

    10ChrisPosted on: 9-29-2024

Very helpful staff, accommodated my motorcycle in a secure and covered area in the courtyard. Close to the Sword beach and restaurants.

    7HelenPosted on: 9-29-2024

It was clean and convenient for catching the ferry.

The rooms were hot even though not very hot weather and there were plastic mattress protectors.

    8VivPosted on: 9-28-2024

Very handy for the beach, restaurants and ferry. Everything very clean.

    No kettle in the room

On the map it seems that the location is good, but the hotel is above the road and very very very noisy, although not far from the port, 10 minutes by car. There's nothing else good to say. The price says everything! Cheapest can't be good!!!The room is minatory with thin walls and cardboard door, you can hear every breath of your neighbour and not only breath... The reception do not know English and this makes it very difficult to communicate. When you check in with a pet you will not be told that it is paid, you will find out about it at check-out In an unpleasant and impolite way.

I booked a room for one person, although the price was the same for one or two, still the same tiny dirty room with horrible pillows and a sentetic duvet. My sister arrived at 6 in the morning, unexpectedly early ... I let her rest in the room until check out. At reception they made me pay for her arrival, my dog and electricity ( they accused me of using too much electricity, although this was not true )I paid another day's rent plus breakfast - hopefully that was enough to extinguish the greed !

Friendly clean and tidy some where to put bikes.

Nothing really it was budget price and gave a good budget deal.

Hotel manager kindly let us park moto in secure place. Clean and ideal for overnight stop.

Slightly outside ouistraham for my liking but this was reflected in being slightly cheaper than the centrally located hotels. Regular bus route, which takes cash only.
