- It was a very cosy atmosphere. The owner was very kind and took time to speak with us. The food was excellent and the hotel room was clean and comfortable.
- Service the best. Mario and Guillaume very nice guys. People like them make us think about come back soon!
- Nothing went well for us, the receptionist was arrogant, rude and repulsive, when we asked the volume of TV needed not be increased as I have hearing problem, he shouted to me if I was threatening him? never happened before. His colleague was better but told us when i said the client is king, he did not agree and told us they set limit to this.We insisted to check out at noon instead of 11am as i am handicapped walk with cane very slow, it was like pulling g teeth, we did our best and checked out at 10.30am yesterdayThey are running a prison, it is the furthest hotel from center Leysin, cannot walk there , not their claim of being 800 m away from centerThe breakfast was lousy, inadequate, cold food and unacceptable. I am going online in social media about it, a bad choice definitely.
Cons -
- Two beds instead a big one even asked before and two blankets instead one. That was uncomfortable for a couple just married ;)
- Everything
- 1. Parking - despite the description - was very problematic. A public, ultra narrow mountain street and parking near the entrance was impossible. 2. The courtain in the bathroom was moldy. 3. The douvets were filled with dawn feathers, which cause many allergies. 4. Mattress was worn and uneven (woke up with back pain). 5. The hotel advertises good and fast wifi but there was a huge problem connecting to it - the login credentials were ''taken by previous customers'' and we couldn't connect our devices, and the reception personnel didn't know what to do with that.

Everything
For 2 people the room was very “tight”. Only enough space to store 1 suitcase out of way. The bathroom was small but it was just adequate. However, overall it was a good experience.
Location is up in the mountain, so very nice views at breakfast. But it also takes time to go up and down everyday. The hot tub was great, the staff is really helpful and friendly. The breakfast is really nice.
The view of a village and mountains was spectacular. There was a balcony. Breakfast was very good and the restaurant common space nicely designed. Waiters in the restaurant were very polite. There were chairs, small tables and a big closet inside the room.

Friendly staff, cozy room and gorgeous view
The restaurant has amazing view and the staff are super nice
My corner room was next to the restaurant exhaust fan so cooking smells annoyed me
We had a relaxing stay with everything we needed for our family. Friendly and accommodating staff, delicious breakfast with hot coffee! Spacious room.
Beautiful hotel with great views and lovely relaxing space and a comfortable room.
I booked for one night to enjoy the facilities, I confirmed at check in the jacuzzi would be open 9am-9pm the next day, however when I came in the morning I was told it was closed for cleaning which was disappointing as I left the hotel I was staying in to enjoy these facilities.
Breakfast was delicious and offered excellent variety. The view from the room and from the sauna/hottub was spectacular!
view of nearby mountains, super friendly staff, breakfast display, cozy mountain feel
tight bathroom, steep hike from village (need car)
It is a very picturesque place. The hotel itself is exactly what I wanted - a mountain chalet with absolutely everything made of wood and authentic Swiss style. A beautiful lobby and an amazing view from the terrace! Smiling and friendly staff. A chic sauna with the ability to immediately dive into a jacuzzi bath from which you can contemplate the starry sky. Everything in 1 place and no need to go anywhere else. The restaurant is also very tasty and gourmet. There is a children's menu and reasonable prices. It is very close to the ski lift and you need to take a ride to the Tobogan park. Thank you very much for this wonderful holiday.
I would love to have more vegetables for breakfast.
Cute and cosy hotel, very helpful staffBeds were comfortable Views to die for from the balcony Tip. We used the free local bus from the train to get to the tele cabin, walked in shoes and left them at hefti sports each day instead of walking in ski boots .
Location, if you arrive by train there isn’t easy access with suitcases. The paths are woodland and uneven. If you drive and have access to a car this wouldn’t be an issue. There is a long walk down to the restaurant in the village. 15 francs taxi to get back from the restaurant. Duvets very thick and the room was warm so for us so we didn’t sleep well. May not be an issue for others. Lots of things on the breakfast ran out and on the second day the hot food warmer had been accidentally not been turned on so the food was cold. It isn’t ski in and out for beginners and there is quite a walk to get to the snow at the moment.
Hot Tub and view and very good staff
Steep hill to walk up after skiing
Great place to stay at, nice to have a sauna and jacuzzi
Unfortunately you could hear quite a lot people making noise in their room while in yours, which would eventually wake you up ou make you struggle to sleep
Very quiet and clean ! excellent location for those who seek nature and relaxation
Extremely disappointing for the price
We arrived at 6pm and had difficulty parking our normal sized vehicle on the narrow street against the rocks. When we got into the room there was hair (someone else's- several tufts not a single strand - this means they did not mop the floor between guests) on the floor in the bathroom (which incidently is in desperate need of renovation). I immediately notified reception. Since they did not have another room available they promised to return to reclean the bathroom. When we returned from dinner, the same hair was still on the floor in the bathroom and there was no sign that anyone had cleaned anything. In the morning we were told that they would talk with the cleaning crew. There was a faint apology and presentation of full bill to pay. We will need to return to Leysin but will certainly not return to this hotel.
Cosy hotel, friendly and uncomplicated staff, amazing breakfast! We would always return!
They view from the room was fantastic. The hot tub. Everything
Getting there from the train station can be a bit challenging during winter if you carry luggage. It is not far, but there will always a part of the path that will be covered in snow or icy.
