    Pros +

    • Super accueil, les propriétaires sont aux petits soins pour leurs hôtes. Les chambres sont très jolies et décorées dans l'esprit montagne. La literie est un régal et tout est excessivement propre. Les repas sont succulents et variés, le petit dÃ
    • The property has stunning views and a nice courtyard outside for sitting and taking it all in. It’s up the hill and slightly harder to find without service/internet but we were pointed in the right direction. The beds are super, super firm and at first I thought it would be uncomfortable but I slept fine - I was exhausted. The breakfast buffet was what I expected (yogurt, fruit, nuts, soft boiled eggs, salami/ham, cheese, bread, croissants, etc.)
    • Great location, just a few minutes walk downhill from the TMB trail and just a few minutes more into town. Beautiful view from our room and lovely communal garden area.

    Cons -

    • It was all fine. The restaurant wasn’t open for some reason so we went to a cute and yummy spot in town Carnotzet. Definitely check them out!
    • If you have a hire car the parking in peak time can be difficult but we were able to park right outside most days which was very useful when loading/unloading skis etc.
    • Dinner was ok and very expensive but it seemed all restaurants in the town were pretty expensive (€25-30 per person)

Breakfast was delicious. The beds were very comfortable. The property is well kept and host is delightful. It was a wonderful stop on our TMB hike.

Beautiful views. Nice outdoor areas. Staff very helpful.

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. We arrived after a long day hiking on the TMB. Valerie helped us book a luggage transfer which we desperately needed. She also helped us book a quick taxi ride for the next morning. We booked a room with a balcony and it was just beautiful. This hotel was just what we needed after our first day on the TMB! Close walk into town. Would absolutely recommend staying here! Lovely breakfast and dinner options!

Comfy, quiet, good location & lots of history. The outdoor sauna and hot tub was fantastic. Great storage for skis and boots at the end of the day.

If you have a hire car the parking in peak time can be difficult but we were able to park right outside most days which was very useful when loading/unloading skis etc.

The hotel was lovely and comfortable. Very homely atmosphere with lots of lovely decorative touches. Valerie, the owner, was friendly and helpful. There’s a hot tub and sauna so take your swim wear!

    10JasonPosted on: 1-3-2025

The quant feel - Valerie had made the whole place feel so festive with little touches all around the hotel. The hot tub and sauna were superb. Breakfast options were gods and coffee always fresh. The lounge was very welcoming. Our bedroom was extremely comfortable and the mattress perfect.

Cozy room right on the TMB trail. the proprietor is super friendly and accommodating. There is a very nice breakfast buffet available as well.

    10NicolePosted on: 9-2-2024

The hostess was super friendly and helpful. There was a lot going on in Les Contamines when we were there with the shops having a sidewalk sale just down the hill from the hotel. We enjoyed a very nice supper in the hotel. Great location for hiking the TMB.
