- This is a beautiful hotel located in a gorgeous location in Beaux de Provence. The staff is very friendly and professional. Our room very elegant and the bed extremely comfortable. We ate dinner at the hotel - delicious and well prepared. Breakfast in the morning was a huge buffet with lots of variety and eggs prepared to order - very good. We only stayed for the one night because we wanted to go to the Carrieres de Lumieres in the morning - only five minutes away - where we experienced the Little Prince Odyssey. It was amazing! We recommend staying at Benvengudo for a luxurious stay.
- It was a really beautiful property with several places for enjoying the southern France sunshine. We loved to explore the area in the morning and then come back in the afternoon to swim in the pool and read in a shady spot on the grounds.
- It was exceptional. The setting, our room, our mattress, our dinner, the pool, the staff. Excellent facilities!

The building was well refurbished and the surroundings were stunning with the view to the garden. The staff was really helpful with all our needs.
All went well during the three nights we stayed over.
A beautiful, impeccably mainrained property. The breakfasts are superb. Dinner at the restaurant is enjoyable. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. Parking adequate.
The metal stanchions in the parking area make it a challenge to park a large SUV, especially one with a parking assist system malfunctioning. Greatest concern, the locked gate a few feet away from the narrow and dark road. On the first night we weren't told that our key card unlocked it, reception was slow to do so. WHen two cars are in the queue, one is likely to be on the road. Very dangerous!
Room and dinner very good; breakfast outstanding. Wonderful setting . We really liked the waiter and waitress for our evening meals and the man at breakfast amazing. We have been before and will go again
When wind blew very large sunshade in pool and nearly hit one of us, no care or apology given ! The staff were there and wind had already caused some shades to be put down.
We simply loved this place!!!! I have stayed here a looooong time ago and really wanted to return. The hotel blossomed since then, everything is kept well maintained and up to date. Everything here is just exquisite!! Wonderful rooms, most comfortable beds, the breakfast in this place is something else, I believe it is the best I have ever experienced. The chef makes a huge variety of fresh breads on top of pretty much anything you desire. The garden is stunning with a lot of garden furniture to relax. There is also a pool, which is a huge plus on a hot day. And the proximity to the castle is very convenient. The dinner at the hotel restaurant is a must have as well!
Nothing to report. One thing with can’t be helped - mosquitos in the evening. But the reception would gladly supply you some mosquito repellent if you need it, so you can still enjoy your dinner in the garden.
Excellent breakfast, very friendly staff, very close (4 min ride) to the centre of Les Beaux
The location is good
The staff is terribly unorganised- we checked in at 4pm(!) and would normally check you out around 11 (they let us stay until 12). But most importantly the restaurant staff was rude, and unprofessional. The lady tried to charge me for 2 breakfast when I was alone and then commented “what all this for you”. The manager then took her side. Generally not customer friendly.
The facility is exceptional, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The area is magnificent, with a nice village on top of the mountain, and small villages nearby to have a fresh croissant in the morning. I highly recommend this hotel.
We had dinner on the first night. It's a high french cuisine, and honestly quite expensive, but the food didn't meet the expectations. We didn't return to have dinner again there. Beside that, the hotel is perfect.
Very pretty spot. Nice little garden area and a lovely terrace for outdoor dining - very romantic and well done dinner service.
We wanted a "provencal room" as I am not a lover of the modern hotel decor which, sadly, is sweeping the industry. Our room was part of a little cottage and was fine if not a bit bland. No window in the bathroom and only the french doors for light - no view, tiny patio which was a bit scruffy garden wise. Fine for the 3-400$/night range but this hotel w dinner ended up costing about 1k for 1 night. Definitely not worth that amount.
poolside was pleasant and comfortable. food was good and fresh. breakfast was rich.
bees at breakfast were dangerous. the transportation was difficult. not being able to call a taxi was inconvenient.you certainly need a rental car.lunch menu could have more choices. the body towels in the rooms are fairly small size.
Beautiful setting gorgeous farmhouse building pool lovely breakfast excellent and dinner just right
Beautifully renovated and updated hotel with grounds and stunning pool with sun loungers and relaxing seating area on lawns…
Noisy air conditioning in room 19 overlooking garden
We have stayed here twice before. The setting is sublime, and well cared for.We did expect great things.
We were disappointed that the menu in the restaurant did not change. It was very expensive for what was offered, including the wine.We booked as it was our wedding anniversary of 53 years. The hotel made no effort despite having asked us for special details. The bathroom products are less than average quality for a resort such as this, refills of very ordinary shampoo, into Luxe containers. The snack menu was inadequate, either all meat and bread, or all cheese. Couldn’t they combine the two for a satisfying lunch?
Hotel Benvengudo is a gem in Les Baux-de-Provence. The rooms are charming and immaculately clean, and the staff are genuinely warm and attentive. The location is serene, offering spectacular views of the Alpilles Mountains, yet conveniently close to historic sites. The on-site restaurant serves exquisite Provençal cuisine. A truly unforgettable stay!
Breakfast is alway outstanding and this was no exception. The setting and the gardens are a delight to be in especially as our room led directly into the garden.
I am not sure if there was a supposed to be drinks service in the garden before dinner, but having received the drinks menu, there was no-one to take the order which was disappointing.
Absolutely everything!!!! I can’t wait to come back I cried when we left!!!!!The accommodations, the room, attention to detail , the food , the garden , the service !
Breakfast was very good, as was the staff and overall upkeep of the gardens
The charging box for charging an ev is almost impossible to use for anyone without a French charging card. This is an issue since there are no other charges in the wide vicinity. In fairness this was not the only hotel we encountered with this issue.
A beautiful country hotel outside Arles. The grounds and pool and restaurant area are charming and calm. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was superb. It was a perfect location to explore the countryside and visit Arles, St Remy and the Carmague
