About
Surrounded by olive trees, cypresses, in the heart of a garden perfumed with lavender and rosemary, Mas de l'Oulivié is an old Provençal house with its terracotta tiled roof. It features a swimming pool. All colorful guest rooms of the Mas de l’Oulivié are tastefully decorated and offer views of the Alpilles or the landscaped garden. The restaurant serves meals for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast can be enjoyed in the comfort of the guest room upon request. Sharing platters including cheese, salmon, cold meats and desserts can be enjoyed on an evening. In the olive grove that surrounds the Mas, you will find a landscaped swimming pool with large rocks and a beach reaching into the water. The Mas de l’Oulivié also offers full range of beauty treatments and body care.

Pros +
- Very nice high end hotel & pool. The staff is friendly and efficient. The pool is very nice. Families are there if you are looking only for couple experience. A la carte foods were very good including the breakfast we ordered for our terrace. Secure parking on site. Very close to Les Baux town & ruins. A more expensive experience here.
- Breakfast great! Only a few options but just enough.
- Loved the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. The hike to Baux-de-Provence is totally worth it and the village itself as well.
Cons -
- There was only one outlet on one side of the bed. Would be nicer if both sides had one for phone charging.
- Can’t think of anything except offer a slip pad for the shower.

Excellent location, room, staff.
Everything was great!
We upgraded our room this year to a garden terrace room and loved it. To have an area outside and close to other guests to chat to was delightful.
A quiet and comfortable place surrounded by olive groves
Breakfast is not included in the price and the hotel does not have such an option. it would be great to do this
The property was beautiful. Sitting out by the pool with the gorgeous views was lovely.
It was a little confusing about ordering dinner as you use their website and actually order from other places. But the drinks & small plates from onsite kitchen was nice.
Beautiful surroundings, friendly staff
Booking.com charged me 270 euros/night for a room that would have been 225 euros if booked directly with the hotel.
This is a very expensive hotel - even breakfast is extra although delicious! We had a plate of meats for dinner to share & bought our own salad. Total cost just over £300 for one night. The plus of this place is that it’s next to an Eagle Owl roosting site which we saw.
My main gripe is that a disabled accessible room is an extra €100 which I feel is discriminatory. The floors in the Classic Room we had were very slippery.
Quiet hotel with excellent service - great for a relaxing stay.
Room was a little small.
The breakfast was delicious and par for the course for this kind of luxury boutique hotel. Staff were exceptionally helpful and discreetly solicitous, with one exception (see below). The grounds are gorgeous. Everything is lovely, quiet, immaculate, and pleasant. They have a locked parking lot, which on reflection we appreciated, and it has two spaces with chargers for EV (steadily used).
Service at breakfast was slow. Once we were served, the server vanished. We waited in vain for a return visit or for a staff person to nab. Not a big deal—we got what we needed from the front desk.
The location, nice garden, swimming pool and room
The price and the food quantity at the breakfast. That there is no restaurant for the dinner...
Loved the facilities and the serene location. The team was excellent…very authentic, efficient and warm.
The hotel was beautiful and the grounds really attractive. The swimming pool area was lovely and towels supplied. The reception area was lovely and the staff most helpful with restaurant reservations and making a much needed hair appointment. We were kindly upgraded to a better room on our arrival which we really appreciated. A lovely few days here and we would return.
The only criticism we have was the breakfast. it cost €22 per person and, apart from lovely freshly squeezed orange juice and a little cheese and ham, it consisted of a huge basket of breads. The maximum the many hotels on our 2 week holiday charged was €15 so we thought this was a little excessive.
good level of comfort. spacious.
no evening meals
Very poor value for money. The price was extremely high and an expensive “table service only” breakfast was disappointing given the price for the bed.
Carrying heavy bags up stairs with me help to the bedroom. Distance from car park to reception. Expensive, non-inclusive, table service only, breakfast on top of an already extremely high priced bed.
This is a fantastic place to stay and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff made iteven extra special. Naomi on reception recommended and booked us into 2 fantasticrestaurants and she is a lovely asset to the hotel.Stephan, Dominic and Philippe were very professional and entertaining. Location is verygood for sights, restaurants and scenery. Food was delicious and all round standards were high. It was an absolutely glorious week and Icannot fault it in any way.
There was nothing to dislike or commentnegatively about.
Everything. Full of charm, perfectly located at the Baux de Provence, delicious food, staff super, pool among olive trees
The staff were unbelievable - they helped us with mapping out our cycle route, organising a taxi and making dinner recommendations and bookings. The pool and surrounds are beautiful and the rooms well appointed and very comfortable. We could not have asked for a better stay.
great attentive staff, superb location to LBDPce, Carriere de Lumiere, as a base to visit surrounding villages & towns.
