Pros +
- Location good room very good restaurant
- It was great to stay in such a beautiful, peaceful and historic location.
- Beautiful setting and we had a fabulous dinner in the Michelin 3* restaurant
Cons -
- Excessive price
- Rooms (even Room 2, used by Queen Elizabeth) have a slightly disappointing decor for this price . A bit bland. I was expecting older, stylish furniture and decorations. Interior colors could be more joyful, while still respecting the time period of the building and the local, rocky Provençal environment. A great stay anyway.
- The room was dark and decor tired, patio not very clean, minimal room provisions. For Eu800 a night we expect a better experience. Staff at pool not attentive and too busy chatting amongst themselves.

Great grounds, beautiful scenery, delicious food! Very relaxing. Very helpful staff. Clean and well designed room.
Room service was a little limited but the food was good. With three pools and a lot of families, perhaps one pool should be 18+ to provide a serene spot in the day - because all pools were play zones, which isn’t a luxurious experience
Beautiful setting and grounds. We’ve been there before and wanted to return.
iPad wine list at L’Ousteau. 106 pages to scroll through. We would have much preferred a proper printed wine list to peruse. At La Cabro d’Or restaurant they have a proper wine list to read.
Beautiful location and beautiful grounds and gardens. Comfortable rooms and spacious. Two wonderful Michelin quality restaurants with great locally grown and sourced food
I felt that charging extra for use of the spa was a little excessive given the cost of rooms. There are two fantastic restaurants serving Michelin level food, but not many options if you just want to eat more simply. Service was ok but not exceptional compared to other hotels at this level - again perhaps my expectations were high given the number of stars and prices.
It is one of the most unique properties.Les Baux is a special place with medieval ruins perched high up on a hill and the hotel is very luxurious with past guests including Queen Elizabeth and Mick Jagger. Need I say more . This is a must stay!
Good
Modern decor style of La Cabro D’or restaurant Should offer more simple cooking to complement The sophisticated Beaumaniere restaurant .Should serve breakfast on terrace if requested
Wonderful locationBeautiful buildings Safe parking
3 star restaurant was closed for annual holiday
Clean and comfortable room and facility plus great restaurant with good wine collection
At first Receptionist is not very good
Breakfast could have been much better. Restaurants very good. A minus that Cabro D'or was not opened Monday, Tuesday.
Breakfast, rooms, gym.
We were accommodated without a reservation for lunch, Sunday, while we waited for our room - magnifique!! We also made our reservation for a room just a day before our arrival, we appreciated your hospitality immensely.Mary Louise Flowers
Restaurant: Food is ordinary though desert is excellent, Wine selection is average. Front Office Staff is rude and like A 3 star hotel.
The room was quite spacious and comfortable, with a lovely terrace. The building was quiet and private with a beautiful view of the grounds.
Lack of an elevator for moving luggage, but this was a minor incovenience.
Location, ambiance of hotel
They charge for every little thing
All of service, equipment and rooms lived up to my expectation. A bed was so comfortable that I overslept, consequently I missed breakfast... Gardens in the premise were also wonderful. The price is worth paying.
WiFi connection was hard and it took time to solve it until a "booster" was delivered. It seemed it was the matter of infrastructure, which led me to believe some of other people suffered the same phenomenon. If so, the solution should have been given much quicker.

Our room #34 was too dark. Would have like a different exposure or a terrace roomWhich I was unaware when booking
beautiful setting just below the village of baux…nice gardens and beautiful room
felt the property was a bit dated… tennis court old, the best pool was out of function due to a storm… and so was the air con. not ideal when the weather is warm
understated & stylish.
haphazard layout , split sites . pool area ok only
landscape
our room was positioned in a very bad place compared to other rooms in the property. far away from the pool from the restaurants. also there was a very bad smell in the room from sewage.
