Pros +
- The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Our plans changed and we stayed an extra evening but didn't have to change rooms on a busy weekend! The location was perfect. The sunsets were absolutely beautiful at the hotel.
- We were there in the off season. This is a Great spot to relax. Cafe is Great. And to view from our room was awesome.
- Le Grau-du-Roi is a great little seaside town. We were there in Oct and had really great weather. Some attractions were closed so if that is your jam then Sept may be a better month for you. Lovely beach, lots of restaurants. Cute little fishing town. Everyone we met was very friendly. The hotel has a GREAT quiet location at one end of the beach left of the river. Enjoy drinks and food on the terrace right next to the beach. The staff are very welcoming. If you don’t speak French they are more than happy to converse in English. It’s just a short train ride out of Nîmes. Super low fare. Walk to hotel only 10-15 mins—if you have wheel-able luggage it’s an easy walk with no busy streets to traverse.Perfect place for a short trip to the coast.
Cons -
- The shower was small, but it was no big deal... it was clean. And worked great!
- The only downside was the sofa bed, as the mattress was too thin to be truly comfortable. Despite this minor issue, I would happily return and highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
- The entry to the room was dark and a bit grungy however once you're in the room it's fine.

Cute room overlooking the sea. Clean and comfortable. Beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea.
Right by the beach, clean beds and beautiful view, the beds were really comfortable and the AC worked great. Lots of restaurants and a few nightlife areas to choose from. It was great for a short stay touring the coast. Quite charming.

The view from the room was absolutely stunning, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The bedroom was spacious with a large, comfortable bed and incredibly soft bedding, ensuring a great night's sleep. The soundproofing was excellent, and the heating worked perfectly, keeping us cozy throughout our stay. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed for a few days, and the thoughtful inclusion of coffee pods was a lovely touch.
The only downside was the sofa bed, as the mattress was too thin to be truly comfortable. Despite this minor issue, I would happily return and highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
Our room was directly across the road from the beach. It was clean and bright and the beds were very comfortable. The room however was not in the main part of the hotel - it was down the road with parking directly across from our room.
The entry to the room was dark and a bit grungy however once you're in the room it's fine.
Nice position. Free car park. Ample breakfast. Very kind
We're glad you got what you asked for. Hospitality is really good in this hotel. Breakfast is delicious and big, very well served. The room is clean and cozy, bright with a beautiful view of the sea. The air conditioner worked very well. Stuff was really nice and professional.
Considering a 3-star hotel, everything is really good, we hope the hotel will expand and be able to offer bigger rooms. The Playa Miramar bar, which belongs to the hotel, does not have any benefits for hotel guests, such as a discount on sunbeds or even free of charge. Which is normal for other hotels. Because we visited the bar many times. Because then hotel guests also generate additional income for the hotel territory.
Hotel was in an amazing spot-super accessible and walking distance to everything. Rooms were super clean and seriously the staff are all amazing. So friendly and helpful. Went above and beyond to help us with transportation when we were stuck and made great recommendations. So happy with our choice to stay here.
Nothing - it was a perfect stay for us.
The staff very friendly, very clean. I liked a lot the fact that the Hotel installed a water dispenser from where you can get fresh water.
Wonderful location on the beach! Very helpful staff who were kind enough to help store our tandem bike :)
Complete disaster
Booking.com and this hotel advertised a "side sea view" at their website, along with a photo depicting a generous balcony and full ocean view. But when we arrived at the hotel, we could barely see the sea from our tiny balcony. Mainly our view was of the street. The room was tiny. There was no real bathroom. The staff refused to refund us, and after following up with Booking.com customer service multiple times, they, too, repeatedly refused to refund or credit us. Please don't stay at this hotel. And please don't make arrangements with Booking.com. I never will again.
Very kind, helpful and professional staff. The bedrooms are very clean and comfortable. Great buffet breakfast. We stayed one night, had breakfast then had lunch (we were 12) Good food, good service. I recommend this hotel.
Friendly and helpful staff. Great shower. Good breakfast.
Room was a bit small.
Excellent location opposite the beach. Bar and restaurant were good. Carpark at hotel. Julie at reception was excellent and very helpful.
Small room but ok for 1 or 2 nights.
We had the room with no sea view. The room is as described. We particularly appreciated the effective air conditioning as the temperature was high. The position of the hotel is great, just in front of a free beach and in a quiet area. We also had breakfast at the hotel and the quality was very good, with a good selection of items, fresh bread and croissants, almond milk, juices, ham and cheese. I strongly suggest to have at least one dinner at the hotel, the restaurant is one of the best in the nearby area, we had good suggestions on the wines to have with our food and you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. The staff is friendly and always ready to help, suggest, and to teach you some French words if you need, something that I really appreciated.
The room is a bit small, but as we choose the cheapest option, this was expected. I would say that the value for the money is in any case very good and I recommend the hotel.
Lovely rooms with friendly staff and a great location
Rooms could have had more storage
friendly staff, modern rooms, directly at the beach, good base to discover Camargue natural reserve
no private parking available, no sunbeds at beach club available (fully booked with non-hotel guests)
Excellent location, amazing food and fantastic staff. Just a wonderful hotel right in the beach. Ideally placed for exploring the local area too. All in all we had a fantastic few days and will undoubtedly return in the future.
