Always love coming back to this hotel as it feels homely and comfortable. The pool and jacuzzi are excellent and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

The only thing which was bothersome was the light that comes on automatically above the door to the room and it goes on and off every time you walk around.

Excellent location, close to restaurants and shops, very pleasant.

It smelled like a new carpet glue, There was no instruction on the room phone how to contact the staff and we had to walk the reception desk for assistance.

Very helpful reception, and comfortable rooms. Parking is located behind the hotel. The hotel is located near several restaurants and next to a long distance walking/bicycling trail along the river.

The drive to the hotel was a bit of a surprise....be prepared to drive through what appears to be a pedestrian zone along one side of the river, and then up and around the river, and back onto a 1 way street that essentially dead ends in the hotel. But, we found sufficient parking behind the hotel.

Everything was great. I would particularly single out the location of the hotel and the beautiful surroundings. Fairy tale.

I just don't understand Accor Hotel's policy regarding wi-fi. To use it in the hotel, you have to register with your personal details. If you don't want to do that, then you can use a slower connection service, but even then you have to give your email address. I mean, I'm a guest in your hotel, I've already given you my details, how much more of my personal details do you need? Just give me the wi-fi password, like in any other normal hotel.

The room was very nice and clean, in a great location. You can walk to the city centre which is also very beautiful, we loved our stay. Parking was also an advantage. Super friendly staff.

What a delightful, modern hotel beside the canal outside the walled city of Dinan! The canal area is picture-postcard perfect. Our room was clean and comfortable, with the added conveniences of electric window shades, spacious shower, and a room safe. We made good use of the hotel's robust spa. Had the weather been just-a-little warmer, we'd have availed ourselves of the outdoor pool, as well. The buffet breakfast was both diverse and delicious, with a wide array of tasty offerings. The staff could not have been friendlier, nor more helpful. A special shout-out to Bruce, who, that evening, was on-duty at both the Front Desk and behind the bar when we decided upon a nightcap. He makes a mean Old Fashioned, shared perceptive stories of his own travels, and provided us with many helpful (and appreciated) suggestions. He's a credit to the Mercure Dinan team!

We liked the rooms, spacious and clean and we got a peep of the port. Location excellent to walk around the Port and up to the villageBest restaurant Chez Odette, best waitress Milo.Had a fabulous dinner there and good value for money. Sat outside- great view of the PortAt the Mecure hotel Bruce at reception was wonderful. Welcoming and nothing was a problem. Great attitude and very professional. Made us feel very welcomed- thank you Bruce- you are a star!!!

Location is most attractive right on the river with many restaurants on the doorstep.

Rooms a bit dated

While the furnishings were simple, they were all tasteful, clean and comfortable. Good size bedroom with sufficient storage space and a very comfortable bed. Public spaces were all clean and stylish. Location is excellent. Staff were helpful, efficient and friendly' Exterior of the hotel is in character with the environment and attractive. Good breakfasts available and plenty of eat out options in the vicinity. Secure parking.

Both of us found the single beds uncomfortable.

Very strong chemical smell, probably due to carpet cleaning. The very friendly and helpful hotel manager showed us several available rooms, but all ad the same strong smell.

We couldn't fault anything. We were very happy with the hotel, our room and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Everywhere we went was beautifully clean

We didn't try the breakfast as we thought 20€ each was expensive.

Everything. We use this Hotel for regular short breaks and really chill out. Location is perfect. Staff are very attentive. Bruce is excellent and can't do enough for you. Superb. Great breakfast. Parking.

Location was good, staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Room was clean although a slight odour in the room-not sure of reason.

The restaurant was not open for dinner. There were limited open restaurants in the area, I stayed on a Tuesday night in December
