Gorgeous view, comfortable rooms

The cleaners were trying to open our door over 1 hour before check out time and continued to try and open the door after we told them we were still in the room and basically told us to hurry up

The breakfast was an adequate European breakfast, though a bit meager for those who are hiking. Very quiet and clean. Bed very comfortable. Beautiful location, just an easy 8 minute walk from the train station. Excellent base for hiking.

Great building in a fab location - very nice!!

was slightly unclear about the key - not any information before I was at the front door. Then I was told by other guests to drive back 2km to another hotel to pick-up the key. All very straight fwd after that!!

Location and staff, breathtaking views, nice atmosphere, comfortable bed. Available parking. Lovely garden where to sip your morning coffee and take in the beautiful mountain view.

No room service (only on the first day), thin walls - no sound proofing.

Parking on site was good.The outside seating overlooking the river and hillside was good.Remote/key-code checkin worked Ok.The price was discounted by Booking.

The room was very small, although the website did alert us of this.the ensuite was tiny and awkward to use.The sliding door to the corner shower was broken.The shower ponded, and did not drain well.The basin did not drain.No aircon, after 32C day temp room was warm.No insect screen to keep .mosquitos out, so was necessary to keep window closed.The bed was slightly saggy.

I liked the location in front of the river and a nice large room with a nice view. I liked the garden at the bottom of the hotel, very good to rest or have a drink.

View on garden, river, mountain. Calm village. Nice staff and inhabitants.

Small room

Friendly, helpful staff. We arrived late, and reception was still there to assist us.Excellent breakfast, served in a pleasant dining room. Room had a nice view. Good to have a bath not just a shower. I would definitely return.

It was a pity there, was no kettle, but this is normal in France.

Very friendly staff. Comfortable room and bed. Nice view from room. Convenient to have the restaurant within the hotel. The hotel is located very close to the hikes in the Valle des Merveilles etc, but I discovered that the village of La Brigue itself is worth a visit.

The paintwork on the inside of the window shutters was old and peeling off. It didn't look very nice, but once night fell and I drew the curtains across, I couldn't see it, so it wasn't really a problem. Parking was available, although quite 'tight'. OK for small cars, larger ones would be better parking out on the street.

Great location. Clean, spacious, comfy, equipped room. Awful dinner. Great breakfast. Would return!

Very small rooms, shower difficult to get into.

The exterior of the property is lovely and there is parking.

No hot water, so couldnt shower. No curtains in bathroom. Less than a roll of toilet paper in the bathroom, with no backup rolls. Bathroom towels were ratty. No elevator in the event someone might not be able to physically carry their bags up one or two flights. Poor WiFi.
