BreakfastLocation by the beachThe hotel was comfy Tiger and Jana (a receptionist lady) were very helpful and friendlyExcursion trips were awesome
We booked a seaview room but there was a huge tent on the beach that literally blocked our seaview since we were on the first floor. The hotel forced everyone to take expensive dinner buffet on Christmas eve.One receptionist lady was quite rude (not Jana from Philippines)
After a bad experience at another hotel in Maafushi, I moved to this hotel and it was a great decision. The place is very nice, clean, quiet with no noise at all, and has a private beach. The price is very reasonable, almost the same as the previous hotel but with a much better experience.Big thanks to the staff for their kindness, great service, and help with trips and transportation all the way to the airport. Highly recommended.
We had a lovely stay here. It's right across from the Bikini Beach, which allowed us to go back and forth as much as we needed. Breakfast was pretty decent - we also ate dinner in the restaurant which was excellent. Staff was extremely pleasant. We had a "family" room that overlooked the water and the balcony to watch the sunset. I recommend this place for a stay in the Maldives!
The beach chair set up could have been better. Kaani chairs (at least at the one cove, there are 2 within "Bikini Beach") are the least comfortable option, and many are broken. Also, local vendors get in there early and take the best spots (good for them!) So it's hard to utilize the Kaani chairs with any success. When you use the local vendor chairs, they want you to buy something from them. It's not a big deal, the juices are delicious! But just an FYI as you are planning for the beach.
My experience with Kaani Grand Seaview was really good. All of the staff were very friendly, and I would like to specifically mention Tiger. His helpful and supportive actions were truly amazing and greatly appreciated.
The location was good, the staff was hospitable. The room was spacious and everything was well organized.
The breakfast was average, limited variety. The second floor had a poor view because of the big tent by the beach.
the staff was nice and helpful specially the guy name Magic
poor facilities, my booking was all inclusive we got the breakfast and one dinner, for late check out they charge us, when we go for lunch on the second day they said its check out day you cant have the lunch
We stayed at Kaani Grand Seaview in a Deluxe Family Room Seaview with Balcony, and our experience was wonderful from start to finish. The room was always impeccably clean — housekeeping did an excellent job. The bed linen and towels were always fresh, and the pillows were incredibly comfortable, which made our stay even more relaxing. The view from the balcony was stunning, and the hotel’s direct access to the beach made everything so convenient. The friendliness of the entire staff truly made our trip smooth and enjoyable.A special thank you goes to Magic, one of the hotel staff members. He was extremely friendly, always ready to help, and assisted us with absolutely everything we needed. Thanks to him, we joined three amazing excursions:Snorkeling with nurse sharks and feeding stingraysSnorkeling with turtles and dolphin watchingSnorkeling in the “fish tank” with colorful fish and stingraysThese experiences were unforgettable and became the highlight of our trip.Overall, Kaani Grand Seaview made our stay memorable, comfortable, and absolutely hassle-free. Highly recommended!
Very clean and staff are very friendly once they know we are staying for our honeymoon they offered a free of charge romantic dinner over the sea and they make our bed full of flowers and decoration ( Mr Tiger ) kind person he arranged this for usAlso for the cleaning ( Mr arif) clean the room everyday and leave it in a very good position
Nothing really we might repeat the visit again
The service, very nice people. Asif was very kind and helped us by cleaning the room promptly and providing what we needed.Rajiv was also great picking us at the airport and taking us to the boat and hotel.
The island is a bit rough, the hotel was very good
Spacious room. View from Balcony. Reception attendents were helpful. Staffs were friendly.
No mirror/dressing table inside the room. No air circulation in lift/elevator, inside the hotel corridor. Amenities could be more. AC remote was confusing to operate.
Lobby staff Tiger was very friendly and helpful. Pick up and transfer including our luggages from and to the port is well arranged. Only steps to restaurants, shops and excursions.
Wifi was ok, the staff were very polite, helpful and nice, the room could have some small lights so that you would not need to switch on the main room lights for anything
already covered
All the staf are helpful and supportive, specially the guy name Asif, he is quick response to us. Facility is good, bathroom with hand spray, nice view of ocean.
Breakfast is acceptable but it can be better
Beautiful view property is on the beach ,great room clean hotel ,great staff.
Bathrooms are old style with creaky doors blocks in drainage at times ,food was average repetitive no flavor and low quality.Had to ask for extra towels in the bathroom.Excursions need to be managed better and provided with a better lunch and service without being pushed to take pictures all the time under water .
Everything in the hotel was exceptional. The staff are very, very friendly, polite, professional and helpful, especially Mrs. Melanie & Mrs. Suman full gratitude to them, in addition to Mrs. Nash & Mr. Tiger , they were all nice. The view from the room is magnificent. The room is very clean The restaurant is clean and the staff there are very nice. All the appreciation goes to Mr.Danura, who assisted in the difficult situation mentioned below
Mr. M.Azmim, this man gave us a hard time with the worst experience a guest could have in an hotel. We, my friend and I, had a problem managing a boat to maafushi Island upon arrival. Before arrival, the hotel confirmed via Booking.com messages that no ferry or shared private boat would be available at 10:30 pm, and that a private transfer (USD 180) had to be arranged in advance. I asked about sharing with others, but was told no other guests would arrive at that time.On arrival at the airport, however, the hotel representative was waiting with a sign. When asked, he showed me names of two other guests arriving then — even though we were told no one else would be there to share with. This caused confusion. When I questioned why we weren’t connected to share with these guests, the rep asked me to contact the hotel through Booking.com. The hotel, in turn, referred me back to him at the help desk.Meanwhile, I noticed the hotel boat outside the terminal. When I pointed this out, the rep left us waiting while he counted money, then said he could not help us. Instead, he gave us the contact information of Icom Tours for a private boat. Noting the hotel boat that was outside also left during this time. The tours company asked for USD 360, which is way expensive, I then called the reception directly, who raised the price to USD 360, citing weather conditions and the need for a bigger boat. When I asked for a discount, they offered Usd 300 and, for more, they referred me to Mr. Azmim. Upon calling him, he confirmed no boat would be sent that night, advised me to book a different hotel in Malé until morning, and said he could not confirm if I’d be charged for the night we missed. As we had no other option, we ended up sleeping on the airport floor. The next day, when we reached the hotel, Mr. Azmim insisted we must pay for the missed night, which added to our frustration. Only after raising the matter further did Mr.
The location and view are amazing , stuff are so friendly and very helpful specially Kadir , everything is nearby walking distance.
Upon check in they charge $120 for nothing and they say it’s tax.Breakfast is very limited and basic , better to exclude it from the booking (if this option available)
