Lea Spa Hotel

Location was amazing. Everything needed was on walking distance. Very centric and, it was not noisy as other main parts of the island. Staff were great.

Balcony was not what was expected. a bit narrow and view was limited. Breakfast is very basic and if you are not early, the food is cold and not as fresh.

-Flat pillows-table in the balcony was broken and rusty. The sliding door was also not working well.-weak wifi in our room

The room size. Big. The view from the balcony was very beautiful. The bed quite comfortable

The breakfast, not so many choices.The water is so so slow that it took forever to fill up the bathtub. And no hot water. At the end,we only use the rain shower.

Was the most wonderful stay from start to finish.The location was seconds from the beach with a beautiful sea view from the room, hygienic and pleasant facilities, great breakfast & panorama terrace.Staff & owner were extremely helpful and went out of their way for us.Went above & beyond our expectations, highly recommend this gem of a property.

This hotel was recently renovated, everything is so new, beautifully designed, rooms are very cozy and well furnitured. It looks just like on the photos. Staff is extremely welcoming and accommodating. As far as I can judge this is the best place to stay in Maafushi! The view from the room was incredible. Breakfasts are very average though, but I am sure they are working on it. 10000% recommended.

Amazing hotel directly at bikini beach in Maafushi! Rooms are very nice, clean and the AC is great. The stuff is super helpful - they helped us even before arriving. Breakfast is good!

The dirty windows and bathroom! The smell in bathroom was really bad. A lot of hair inside shower!

I was very impressed about this place. Customer service at very high level. The room was clean, water was hot and everyone was kind. Recommended!

A "boutique" hotel, perfectly located on the lower edge of the touristy part of the island. 2 minutes to bikini beach in the north, 5 to the restaurants etc. in the south. The staff were extremely helpful in pointing us in the best direction for meals, trips and general information. For diving, Maafushi Dive is next door, and for other trips we/they recommend Maldives Fellas or Shadowpalm. For meals, the nearby Velana beach was a significant cut above the rest (and we tried many) and Moonlight for drinks at the southern end is wonderful.Our room was right under the rooftop restaurant yet even being high season, noise was no issue at any time (which was my main concern based on some reviews). The room was always cleaned and fresh towels and water provided when requested. An excellent evening of chilled live music was a first for them while we were staying and very successful.Overall superb, and we'd definitely stay again.

Breakfasts were a little on the basic side but fine, and for the price more than what you could reasonably expect. We'd just had a few days on a private island costing 3× as much so it's unfair to compare.

The room is exactly like in the pictures, spacious, clean, with a nice view from the balcony. Also the bathroom is big and nice. The staff was very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. It is very closed to the public beach.

We didn't like the breakfast. The area from the Sky Restaurant is not very well maintained and its a shame because the view from the top is amazing. Also, the rooms are not soundproofed and any noise can be heard.

Good facilities with a bathtub to relax. Sea view is quite impressive. Staffs are very friendly and supportive.

Location is great. Just few steps from the beach. Overall it was a great experience.

The only upsetting thing was the staff who didn't help us at checkout time to carry the bags at the time of departure so we had to drags our bag through the sand ourself all the way to the island exit point. Even upon saying to help carry our bags with the trolley, the staff ensured to come but went to their rooms and didn't show up.

The staff was great, friendly, and very helpful when asking for support.The beds were super comfortable, AC was working great, and we had a great view (but you need to book a more expensive room with a sea view)The hotel staff helps you also with booking tours and activities.They also pick you up from the ferry when you arrive so you won't need to carry your luggage.The toilet was clean and looked really new.Perfect location, only 2 min walk from "Bikini beach" and main tourist activity and very close to the port.The restaurant option in the Hotel was also ok.Overall i would go back if I will be in Maafushi and i would recommend it to friends and family.

No fridge in the room, but talking to the staff I learned that they have ordered minifridge and they will arrive. So this point could be discarded in the future.Internet was a real pain point as was working on/off constantly - so this is not a work-friendly space but seems that the whole island is affected by bad connection so this could be not just the fault of the hotel itself.The doors and walls are extremely thin, so we could hear a lot of noise coming from other guests going up/down the staircase and in the corridors near our room. We would always wake up due to the noise (during breakfast time), but if you don't mind and you wake up early anyway this won't be a problem.Breakfast options were really simple and could improve.A simple trash bin could be added to the rooms as we didn't have any proper way to dispose of our trash if not use the mini toilet bin.

We stayed at the Lea spa hotel for one night. They were helpful from the booking stage itself. Answered our queries promptly. They arranged a hassle-free speedboat service for us from the airport to Maafushi and to the airport. They picked us up from the Maafushi boatyard and were very welcoming. The room was spacious and clean. They have a rooftop restaurant and the food was good. It is within walking distance of the water sports area and the beach. Overall it was a pleasant stay! I would like to inform a serious issue with this hotel. We lost money both two rooms that i book. Officer is under investing. Their staff came to my room without notice in advance, and told a lie that we asked them to check about TV. We didnt! Please remove this hotel out of your list and inform to other network. Dont let tourist has a bad experience like us! many thanks
