The room was big & nice

The room was not clean. The staff were very rude , unfriendly & disrespectful. And also The rooms are out of the islnd where the buffet restaurants is located , which means you are depended to the furry , only once an hour there is one. Its so less. At least every 30 minutes. But if I knew that , I would have not booked. And the sea transportation , for the ticket we paid 444$ per peeson , they stopped some where in the middle & picked up some other guests , which made our 40 minutes flight even longer .

Staff extremely helpful with beautiful pool room in front of the beach.Staff went extra mile to make my birthday special even without me telling them was my birthday.

The resort is amazing, we felt like we were in paradise. All the way from arrival to departure was so well organized, we felt like VIPs all the way! We were upgraded to beach villa with pool, which was so amazing, the outer bathroom / shower was my favourite, the fresh air, the nature, the serenity! Our garden with pool was so nice and we had direct access to the beach. As almost noone is at the beach, we felt like it was our private. The room could use some updates, but we enjoyed anyway. We had half-board and I very much recommend - the food was amazing and every day there is a different theme, e.g. Asian night, pasta night, Mongolian night, etc., we gained like million kilos there. We were there with the baby and everyone were helping with him as well. Our server Laila was so sweet and attentive, but also everyone else was as well. They read our wishes from our eyes and they knew exactly what we wanted and needed and provided right away. We also had the opportunity to stay in the Ocean villa, where we were also given an upgrade - it was amazing! The floating breakfast is so worth it, we took the Asian version, and it was soooo good! The Ocean villas' restaurant was included for dinner when you stay in the Ocean villa and oh my god how good the food was! Although the inside of the restaurant had a lot of small bugs (I think I have an idea, what they were, I will not write this here), which made me a little panic, but this was the only place I saw these, nowhere else. Sadly it came to our departure day, and this was organized so well, we had to leave quite early, at 07:00, so they organized everything, sent to our room the schedule, how the next day would be, they even opened the breakfast especially for us very early, which was so sweet! There are a lot of activities you can do for free there, so you will not get bored. I could write more, but the space will run out. :D Anyway, we enjoyed a lot, it was our dream come true, thank you so much everyone!!!

As soon as we landed someone was there to meet us after immigration to help us to find the sea plane check in and lounge to relax while we wait .. very beautiful resort , great views , very clean and friendly stuff , I especially want to mention shehan and laila from the restaurants , they were amazing and helpful .. they also had a variety of activities daily like karaoke or paddling etc def recommend .

Very expensive with so much tax Even just a cocktail was so costly so not economical at all .

Property is amazing. It was a great stay - I got badly ill but they looked after me so well! Rooms are so clean and have everything you need. Overwater villas are exceptional.

All inclusive packages are not so clear. Please make sure to go on website and check everything in details. Even though it is a basic package it covers everything.

The seaplane transfer - we had to wait for whole 4 hours for the transport after checkout. We had another stay planned in the city we reached there by late evening leaving us no time to explore city. Seaplane transfers should be updated for the convenience.

We had an amazing stay. The best part of the hotell (apart from the obvious great surroundings) was the staff. A special thanks to Appa, Nisanka and the rest of the staff for an amazing stay and made us and our daughter feel very special. Good food and great value for money!

Childcare was only for years 4 and up while we were there. No diving excursions for experienced divers, maybe due to low season.

The rooms were huge and dreamy! The pool was amazing and the staff was all really nice. The complimentary snorkelling trip was always great fun.

The food varied in quality. Some nights I had very good food, other nights I did not like it. It was especially disappointing that the seafood was not good at all - I never ate good fish/seafood during my stay (with the exception of tuna).

Everything! Was one of the best trips in our lifes. It's a paradise! All the staff was amazing, everyone was so kindfull! All the in ocean vilas have a private swimming pool, which make it even better. You can decide between a snorkling in the ocean or just chill at your private pool. We felt it like we could stay for 2 weeks easily. Unfortunately it was just 5 days, but totally worth it!

We stayed for 4 nights and had such a fabulous time. It was our third visit to the Maldives but our first to Angsana. We were greeted at the airport and taken to a business lounge for 30-40 minutes to wait for our seaplane. We boarded the sea plane and had a 40 minute flight to the island. We were made to feel very welcome, both given a a small welcome drink and bracelet and escorted to our villa. We received a free upgrade to the beach villa with a pool. The villa was incredible and the gentleman who escorted us was so friendly. The island itself is quite small and we took advantage of the free paddle boards and kayaks and paddled around the whole island. We also did the free snorkelling trip and were lucky enough to have a pod of dolphins join us as we boarded back onto the boat.The food was delicious - we were all inclusive and ate in the main restaurant and pool bar. The evening entertainment was great- not too loud or overbearing. It was really enjoyable to sit and enjoy the evenings.The staff arranged our departure on the last day. Our flight was at 9am and we arrived by seaplane at the airport at 7:30am. They had staff waiting to help us with our cases and escort us to check in to help speed up the process. We cleared immigration and headed straight to board our flight. It was the smoothest departure without any waiting round.

Only complaint was that the main pool was closed on our final day but we had the sea to enjoy to cool down and it definitely didn’t prevent us from enjoying ourselves.

The place is very beautiful as all the resorts in Maldives due to the location and nature but is far away from Male and doesn t worth the effort and money. We booked the 3 nights stay in a beach house + 2 on the water villa. First issue was during check in when we discovered that the beach house doesn t have a private pool and we had to argue with the reception because on the offer says private pool but they said is just for the water villa. After we explained that this is not the offer they have on booking, they gave us the beach house with private pool. I hate to start my holiday arguing and left me a bad taste from begining. In the offer was also mentioned that extra included is early check in and late check out but never mentioned is upon availability, we didn t had any of this extras and we stayed 4 hours in the sun when we arrived and when we left we had to stay another 3 hours in the restaurant in a terrible temperature. My boyfriend booked a romantic dinner on the beach for 340 usd… doesn t worth the money and neither the food is nothing special. The beach houses don t have coffee machine ? just instant coffee and an electric kettle ( we stayed in Male in a 100 usd hotel and they had espresso machine and bottled water). The food is ok but too many local dish in the conditions that 99% from the guest were europeans. Overall the stay was ok but nothing that would make me return. Is our first time in Maldive but if the first 2 resort I would strongly recommend, this one doesn t worth the money neither the effort to reach it.

The service & water villa. The snorkeling in water villa is very convenient & you can see a lot of beautiful fishes. Laila from Thailand gave excellent service in buffet restaurant.

This truly is paradise. In ocean villa experience was superb! Comfy beds, gorgeous views. Spacious, luxurious and exclusive. Best reef snorkelling we have ever experienced. Food was tantalising! Charith @ the bar made our stay personal and unforgettable. His Baby Lady Killer was fabulous and he kept the Beer and drinks flowing with a smile! Fayaz and Ajija were great support!

Some fixtures in room need to be upgraded. Lamps, blinds etc. Staff try their best, but service can at times be slow and unreliable. But this was no biggie!

Staff is extremely accommodating, all inclusive is non stop really (before we arrived we saw some mixed comments but honestly there wasn’t anything we asked for and it wasn’t provided during our stay and it was all included in our standard all inclusive- branded alcohol, a la Carte meals at the bar for lunch etc), rooms are cleaned meticulously daily, amazing all around

As we all know, weather in Maldives can be patchy - VERY limited (close to no entertainment) which pushes people into drinking themselves to bed when rainy and nothing else to do, kids getting cranky - you can feel the vibe was getting tricky with the weather. If there were some sort of animators or DJ with some lounge music or cooking classes free of charge or anything of that sort would’ve kept people healthier and more engaged. apart of this amazing stay!

We had an amazing stay at Angsana Velavaru hotel.Everything was great, and the hospitality truly stood out. A special thanks to Leila at Azzure Restaurant and Ali at reception-both were incredibly nice and helpful.

Getting from Inocean villas to the land side of the hotel requires taking a boat that operates every hour.While manageable, it can sometimes be impractical depending on your schedule.

Views and the property were incredible

We paid for all-inclusive, and it wasn’t really “all-inclusive.” They wouldn’t have the room stocked daily with drinks and snacks. Instead you had to pay after the first round of items. We think this is absolutely ridiculous when you claim to be all inclusive. That part really took away from the experience.
