My wife and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Huvafen Fushi Resort to celebrate our anniversary, and I can confidently say it was one of the most unforgettable experiences we have ever had.From the moment we arrived, the kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality of the entire team made us feel truly special. I would especially like to commend Nazeeh, who took exceptional care of us throughout our stay. His attention to detail, warmth, and sincere effort to ensure our comfort and happiness went far beyond expectations and made our anniversary celebration even more meaningful.Our bungalow was simply outstanding—spacious, modern, beautifully designed, and offering complete privacy with its own private pool. It was the perfect blend of luxury and tranquility, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment together.The activities were equally memorable, particularly the fishing trip, which added a unique and authentic Maldivian experience to our stay. Every detail, from the service to the atmosphere, reflected the resort’s commitment to excellence.Huvafen Fushi is not just a resort; it is an experience that stays with you long after you leave. We are deeply grateful to the entire team for creating such beautiful memories for us, and we look forward to returning again in the future.

Nothing to mention honestly

The dining experiences in Celcius and Salt, the attention to detail and the atmosphere created on the Island are really extraordinary. Everything was done to perfection! The level of service and food, meant we could enjoy the best cuisine from all corners of the world at every mealtime. We found every member of staff so friendly, professional and dedicated to making our stay exceptional. Our Thaakuru, Nihan; the restaurant team Sadhin, Alim & Chantal and Rameez from housekeeping all made our time on the Island unforgettable. Thank you to the incredible team at Hufaven Fushi and we really hope to come back one day!

Exceptional resort, wonderful reef and snorkeling, delicious food and stunning views. The staff was friendly and attentive, especially our butler Nihan. We also met wonderful servers in both restaurants. I wish I could remember their names to give them a proper shout out. The resort was not too crowded because it is smaller than some of the other major chains, which gave it a very peaceful and romantic vibe. We will definitely come back!

Because the resort is smaller, there was not much nightlife. My husband and I like to dance to a good band or DJ, but they only had entertainment twice a week. I think if you want a big social scene, one of the larger resorts would be more your style. But for three nights at this amazing resort, we didn’t miss this aspect at all.

This place is truly magical. From the moment you arrive you are swept off your feet with the luxury and attention to detail of the property and the staff. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before. EVERYTHING is absolute perfection. The room was stunning. The food was absolutely sensational. The snorkelling was incredible. All of the staff around the island were friendly and professional. I could go on and on! Our butler Nellie was truly fabulous and made our stay extra special. This place is true paradise - we are counting the days until we can return.

After more than a month of honeymoon and many accommodations visited, we can say, that this was the worst in some details for its category.The room included filtered drinking water and milk, coffee and tea. After the first night we used up the first brick of milk for coffee and it was not replaced. The second day we used the second one. We said we needed more and were told that the hotel was out of stock, they could bring us a glass but it was a charge. how can this happen in a hotel where you pay over $2000 a night?I received several emails asking me about my arrival time, when this had already been arranged with our previous accommodation in the Maldives.It is a large hotel compared to others of similar price, 46 villas in total, which makes it not feel too exclusive. At meals the dining room is often full and even if you have booked, you may have to wait.The first and last overwater bungalows, both ocean and lagoon, are very exposed to passing buggies. In particular, in the latter you can be seen by both guests going to the pavilions and staff while you are in your villa, so privacy is minimal. You also hear buggies every five minutes.Most of the beach villas are in the water sports area and the main jetty.They also had no honeymoon detail, which we had had at all our previous accommodations, including the previous one in the Maldives.

Excellent choice of breakfast and evening meals in the Celcius Restaurant.Beautiful, peaceful resort, a slice of paradise. Fabulous spa and spa treatments. Despite not diving/snorkelling we saw lots of fish, sharks and stingrays. We loved that it was so warm all through our stay. ( high twenties) Helpful and knowledge staff. Bonus having tea/coffee making facilities in the apartment.

Neither the Raw or Salt restaurant's had food that appealed to us.Weather is changeable, we had rain for several hours on two afternoons and it can be quite breezy at times. I expected it to be more consistent in January. However, this didn't spoil our trip in any way.

Breakfast was just right.Room looked freshly done .Dinner despite my half board was amazingly good with ala carte menu. The best of all was my Butler Saif who organised everything we needed from Check in at the room to our snorkelling, to the special dish Reef fish ceviche we wanted to reorder.

Have nothing to complain.

1) friendly and understanding staff; not only did they acknowledge some of their mistakes, they compensated for them. 2) the resort is very small, thus very quiet. If you’re looking for quietness. Not a lot going on. 3) the Villa itself was gorgeous with 2 pools which was an added bonus!4) the underwater spa is a unique experience!

1) the most thing that I did not like was the lack of variety in food. Only 3 restaurants with limited menus. Not expected from a supposed 5 star resort nor the price we paid. 2) it could get quite boring in the evenings and especially after 1-2 days. No music no activities no variety in events done by the resort. 3) not an ideal resort for children. No kids club. Limited menu option. 4)no gift shop or store on the island for any extra necessities we needed. 5) the beach villa wasn’t very private. Anyone on the beach or swimming in the sea could see right into the room.

Everything ! Location, service, privacy, staff, spa.. we were lucky to have a wonderful butler Samaah who made everything possible.

Everything! Slightly further away from male which was good for us away from the airport. . Perfect for our honeymoon. Prices of activities and food very high but similar to the competition. We loved our beach bungalow with private pool in lieu of upgrade to sea bungalows. We loved the bang and olfsen sound system to play our music, our butler didi, the friendly staff, the beach the sea life sharks and turtles. The food was all amazing too. Gym on prominade. The underwater spa. Thank you.

Celsius restaurant lovely, but in evening à little dark to see our food clearly. Minor maintenance snags. Some decor a little dated imo. All these are very minor though!

the Island is quite close to the airport, clean, many many activities to try. the staff were super friendly, professional and at your demand.our butler Younus was the best, he made sure our stay was smooth and up to the par. he met our every need and proactively supported us with activities and the spa.the team at Celsius ( Sujeewa, kessi, suaid, Ramiz) were absolutely gracious and professional and very friendly!

what an amazing hosting and hospitality, this was my 2nd stay in the hotel.

I would say and I have suggested that to the management and they have agreed to look in to it was the variety of food options. I was very impressed that they have asked me the same question and took my feedback and asked questions to understand more. Bravo!!!

We enjoyed our days there. Dolphins cruise was great and spa under water was wonderful. Our partner Mr. Didi was patient with us thanks for his time and kindness

It was a very welcoming, thoughtful and professional resort. Many of the staff were exceptional and the Spa is out of this world.From the moment they pick you up to the moment they wave goodbye nothing is too much trouble.

In the low season I think there are too many staff to guests, so they were over attentive when I would of liked a little bit of less interruptions. I know getting the balance of attention is not easy and everyone is different but for me I would have preferred less.

We spent a week in heaven for our honeymoon, we enjoyed every moment and got to experience many magical moments on the island!The pros:_ Quick transfert from the airport so from the moment we landed in male airport, we checked in in our room an hour later, a big Plus!_ Laid Back vibe and design of the hotel, amazing vegetation on the island. _ Shuzaan our butler was perfect, his service was spotless! _ Great service overall_ Ocean bungalow was great comfort and really spacious with the best views especially during sunsets, really recommended! _ Good pizza and tasty fish (Tuna and Reef fish)_ Salt restaurant: quality of food, staff, ambiance and view WOW!!!_ Excellent reef for snorkeling with many colorful fishes, sharks, turtles and mantas._ Very beautiful beaches with crystal clear water around the hotel with many ones where you get the beach only for yourself _ Great dive center with Musto that has been an excellent coach for my first Dive.

The cons: _ interior design of the room, a bit outdated but we still really enjoyed it. _ two islands on the horizon from pool area, one sandbank with many cargo ships around it and one further with high rise buildings, they damage the view a bit at first but you get used to it after a few days. _ Low quality bread, pastries, vegetables and fruits at Celsius restaurant _ Multiple times we saw plastic (bottles, small plastics etc..) on the island beaches and in more remote places of the island, the hotel should have 2-3 employees patrolling all the beaches during the day and clean up as much as possible, I am sure they clean once a day in the morning but unfortunately it is not enough.... That should be a priority of the hotel to clean any plastic ASAP for the guest to never notice it._ High ugly antenna on the island (i think for internet and cable TV) that you can see from some area of the island, kills a bit the magic when you have it in sight. They should hide it more with high trees or make it smaller. we overall had a wonderful stay and would really recommend the island for honeymooners it is magic!Also we traveled end of April/beginning of May and had some very windy and cloudy days for the last part of our stay, I would recommend to travel between December and April to have the best weather possible (more magic moments when there is no wind and the sea is flat without any sea current)
