Gasthof Krone

The EV recharger was functional. Breakfast was decent but not amazing. The shower was modern and the parking convenient.

The staff was with few exceptions rather indifferent and perfunctory. Until our final breakfast we never saw a smile on a single server. Perhaps the apparent grumpiness is due to burnout? We didn’t feel welcomed in any case. Even the registration was odd. The waitress/receptionist initially acted put out.

Very friendly Gasthof. Lovely meal sat outside in the evening. Nice breakfast. Centre of small village and very peaceful. Staff were brilliant. Loved it.

Great location, near highway. Located in a small village. Large rooms. Nice restaurant for evening meal as we arrived pretty late. Very friendly stuff. The breakfast buffet was pretty poor, but you can order freshly made scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon.

Placed in a little nice village, the rooms were large, clean and nice, and the food at the restaurant were great

Perfect location near the A9 highway. Friendly staff, a great restaurant with great food for evening meals. Clean and new room, good WIFI connection.

The breakfast was kind of a disappointment, no hot meal available (sausages, scrambled eggs etc.). There is also no fridge in the room.

Very good localization, just a few minutes from a highway, but very quiet place.

Located close to the Alps, Gasthof Krone for us is the perfect stop on our way to our ski destination. The hotel has spacious rooms, a warm shower and beds are very comfortable. The restaurant offers great German dishes like “Schnitzel” and big glasses of beer at a very reasonable price. It is also possible to take your dinner with you to your room. Easy when you arrive late and travel with small children. Staff is friendly and they offer a buffet style breakfast in the morning with lots of choice and great coffee! Only thing missing would be (especially in the future) some more loading places for electric cars in the car park (which is free). Then again; there is a FastNed charger at 900m from the hotel. Great for topping of for next days journey! At the price point they charge; five stars all the way!

The brand new room we got was very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast is big and good. Very nice for a few nights.

Check in was smooth. Parking was free and easy. Plenty of space in the room for the six of us. Breakfast was nice with ample choices.

Notwithstanding the above, could be better if scramble eggs/omelet are available for breakfast.

Price/quality is perfect! The staf is friendly and accurate. Location perfect and slept verry well! Hopefully till next year!

Location was nice. Convenient stop on our way to Croatia.

The receptionist wasn’t very friendly or welcoming. Breakfast wasn’t great. Windows easily open in our room so not great for families with little kids. Water in the tap smells really bad.
