Super friendly and attentive staff, delicious breakfast, amazing views, great beach and beach facilities

Balcony door leaking water during heavy rain, sound insulation in the room is not really strong.The hotel is located a bit further away from the city center, which is not a disadvantage (the hotel beach is perfect), just something to keep in mind for planning.

Right on the beach. Excellent fresh Turkish breakfast on the upstairs balcony with a terrific view. Lovely restaurant serving freshly cooked food (some of the best experienced in Kalkan). Free water taxi to the harbour. Most of all, the staff were fantastic, probably the best we've experienced anywhere in the world. Nothing was any trouble and always greeted with a genuine smile.

Like a well read book, the hotel was a little dog-eared but it all added to the charm of the place.

Great value for money, location is ideal on the beach and away from busy town but just a short drive or boat trip into town. The staff were excellent, helping us in any way needed. The room was clean and tidy. We had a great stay.

This place deserves every glowing review and if I could give it more than 10 points I would. We stayed two nights here in the Deluxe Twin with Sea View room which was absolutely fantastic; the most amazing view, jacuzzi in the room and super spacious. After a disastrous experience at another hotel (avoid Hotel Matiana at all costs!!!!) we were very fortunate that Kalkan Beach Park still had rooms available so we returned for the rest of our stay. Beach use is free for guests (it’s super beautiful!), breakfast is fantastic and varied and the staff cannot do enough to help you. Special shout out to Tanya, Ibrahim and Arjin for being so helpful and wonderful, as well as the lovely ladies who cook the incredible breakfasts everyday! Cannot recommend this hotel more! Thank you so much everyone!

Location and hotel staff was amazing

Beachbar/ restaurant ruined the stay. - Scamming with fake items on your receipt. - everything is priced out of proportion. - If you don’t tip over generously they just ignore you.- the watersport rental place are loud and rude. Harrass the women on the beach. Forget - calmness here because they roar their jetskis 24/7 begging for rentals. But nobody rents them. Wonder why.

Before planning a holiday, you should reconsider your expectation for Kalkan which is a small town and hasn’t got a sandy beach due to its natural landscape. Nearest airport is Dalaman which is approximately 2 hours by taxi ride.There are limited hotels built by the sea with stoney beach or floating deck, we would advise aqua shoes as the bottom of the sea is rocky.The hotel opened 2 years ago and would say hasn’t quite settled yet, you feel it as soon as you step in the hotel’s ground, with stairs and steep ramp. The hotel has two wings of rooms with reception in-between.

Reception area is very minimal and could benefit from some enhancements such a water dispenser and perhaps a vending machine.Water was leaking on the corridor of the hotel room corridor as well as in our room from the adjacent room jacuzzi bath (see picture). They offered room change but we had already unpacked and although it was cleaned up by housekeeping staff it constantly returned. Hotel didn’t seem to be too bothered when the maintenance team took a look.There is no safe or telephone in the rooms, but they do have a fridge.Breakfast was served on a top terrace and it was hot and they haven’t got any fan so can be hot.Breakfast was minimal, no facility to keep the dairy or cold meat products to cold – they remain there during breakfast hours in the heat. The choice of hot food was limited

Nothing, everything was exceptional.

The hotel is located at the end of an amazing bay which gives it a unique view, tranquility and beach access. Something great is that they have a beach park with restaurant - bar services and entertainment facilities for kids, which are included in the price of the room. Service quality is great! They also quickly and efficiently address a reservation issue by upgrading the rooms for free, recognizing the mistake and properly compensating it.

Two days our room was not cleaned. We also had to remind on another day. The manager said they had a staffing issue. Breakfast did not vary but was good. Note that the beach park and hotel are operated by two different people.

The hotel was in a great location and had some fantastic views over the bay. It was lovely to be right on the beach front with access to the sea as well as a pool. The rooms were clean and spacious and had lovey balconies overlooking the bay. The hotel staff were friendly and extremely accommodating. The water taxi was a great bonus and we used it a lot.The beach and pool are not run by the hotel but by a beach club, it is free for hotel guests to use except the VIP area. This was not a problem but just wanted to highlight this as it was not clear on the website.

Taking a shower ended up flooding the entire floor of the bathroom - there was a glass shower partition but this did little to stem the flow of water. The buffet breakfast was OK but not the best. There was plenty of choice but the juices were not fresh and the milk long life. Having said that the yogurt and honey was delicious. We had to ask for tea bags as there was only Turkish tea or instant coffee offered.

the breakfast was very good with varied content and very helpful staff. The free ferry boat to Kalkan town made it easy and very quick to get to the many restuarants and bars whilst it was only a 100 turkish lira taxi ride back to the hotel in the evening.The hotel rooms were very good with an excellent showers and superb views of the bay from the balcony . However we could not understand why there was a hot tub in the room as it was not used and took up space!

The steps down to the beach club need to be much better indicated and clearly marked as there were a number of occasions when we tripped and missed steps!

The view from our room was just amazing. Rooms beautifully done. very modern. If we could have stayed longer we would have.

The rooms were finished off very well. It’s a new hotel so still work going on outside. The attention to detail seemed a bit shoddy on the outside. As though the tradesmen had changed and the quality of work wasn’t as good as in the rooms. It was a shame because it was very noticeable.

The room with sea view and terrace are nice. The free boat to the Harbour and back is very handy. Sunbeds and beach equipment are also nice. Super friendly stuff of the hotel. Thank you, Ibragim for making our staying comfortable.

Extremely dirty under the bed. The ants were ate all of my pills in the pill box, so watch your things left on a table! The hot water needed to be wait for 7-10 minutes after 11pm. The breakfast was aweful, no choice at all. Overpriced hotel.

it’s beautiful new hotel with great location, they have a great variety of Turkish breakfast, highly recommended.

I thought the hotel rooms were new and well maintained. Huseyin was very helpful with the upgrade to the room and was always there if there were any questions. The view from the bar is exceptional and the beach (notably the facilities such as the sea Toyz) are a real bonus if you travelling with children. The bar staff were exceptional and so friendly. Great guys. I miss the place already and will return in August.

The hotel's beach is really nice with turquoise clean water and some activities (free sunbed for guests, free small trampoline, hourly rental of boats/kayaks - overpriced, but better than nothing).Furniture in the room is modern and cozy. Soundproofing is good. And terraces are very spacious.Free boat service to the Kalkan city center and back (the reason why we eventually picked this hotel).Large free parking near hotel.The staff is very friendly and helpful and tried their best to fix problems of the hotel.

We had 3 rooms with inside jacuzzi booked for our group and each room had some problems - barely working air-conditioner in one, not working mini fridge in the other (it was changed to a working one), slow shower drain in the third one. The photos of the hotel are a bit misleading. We expected well-renovated hotel, but the quality of renovation work is quite poor - the glass of the terrace fence is cracked, there are some markings here and there left after renovation, some dirt on the edges of the pool etc. And for some parts of the hotel reconstruction was still ongoing...No timetable for boat service, so departure time is completely random. Members of our group used the boat 4-6 times in total and waited for it from 5 minutes to 1 hour... I believe it could be managed better.Breakfast was a disaster - first 2 days of our stay there were no meat options, no flakes, no cakes. On the second day omelete/fried eggs were gone, and just boiled eggs were available. After our complaints breakfast became better and included more variety (like in the attached photos, but still no fruits). However we also noticed an increase of hotel guests, so our assumption is that hotel management decided to save money during off peak days...Wi-Fi was constantly disconnecting and was completely unavailable in some parts of the hotel.
