Patara Prince Hotel & Resort - Special Category

This place is truly magical. First of all, the buildings are absolutely beautiful and it’s clear that they were designed in great detail by a very skilled architect. The sea is incredibly clean and has a wonderful atmosphere. The view of the rocks, the room views, the breakfast , everything was delightful. Every corner of this hotel felt warm and charming.

The only things we could really complain about are that the hotel’s overall style and facilities feel quite old-fashioned, just as many reviews mentioned. The Wi-Fi doesn’t cover the entire hotel, and some rooms need their air conditioning units and TVs replaced. What bothered me the most were two things: the mattress was too soft, and the water in the shower didn’t drain properly. These are small issues, but it would be great if they were fixed

Rich and varied open buffet breakfast. Time is good 8.00-10.30AM. The sea view is magnificent. Service is good.All the tables had clean white tablecloths.

Lovely 'juliette' type balcony with exceptional views. Beautiful grounds. Really enjoyed the Sicilian night.

Location was excellent. Very close to kalkan and the views were incredible.The spa is also excellent.

It needs some modernisation as it seems a little dated. The breakfast is also disappointing as there were no labels so was a guess a lot of the times.

Not close enough to town. Decor dated and scruffy. Bed not comfortable. Room wasn’t cleaned when I was out on Sunday.

generally not well maintained around the pool area, service very slow and reception make you feel like by just being there you are being an inconvenience - every request is met by a sigh and a roll of the eyes. a member of staff also brought up wine to our room without us ordering and sat on our loungers. he put into translate 'dont get the wrong idea' but our friends told him to go and he did eventually leave

Toilet facilities by the pools need upgrading as do the sun bed mattresses.

The hotel is in a fantastic setting next to the sea with beautifil views of Kalkan. The room was spacious and clean. Pool areas are fantastic - very peaceful and relaxing. Although the hotel is outside town, taxis are very reasonable.

The breakfast buffet was a little repetitive every day. Staff at the cafe and restaurant were very slow to serve customers and ignored us on several occasions when we had to approach them and ask for service. They didn't seem to know what they were doing. Drinks were also expensive.

Location is tremendous.The proximity to the water and the facilities at the water's edge are great for relaxing in the sun or swimming.The food was always very good.

The wifi connectivity across the resort was poor. There is no ironing facility other than using the laundry service which means clothes have to be sent away for ironing and at additional cost. The hair drier provided in the room was ineffective and we had to buy one to meet our needs.A lot of the staff were not engaged with customers and did not seem to want to be there. Orders were frequently wrong or not completed at all.

Breakfast was ok. Simple but sufficient. Eggs were cooked on request. Fresh fruit and vegetables alongside yoghurts, cheese and some rather dubious warm offerings including chips! Location of hotel is good with direct access to the sea. Rooms are spacious with air conditioning. Boat ride from hotel to Kalkan is cheap and a lovely way of ttavelling to town (around £1 per person). Pool area and grounds are lovely.

Rooms were shabby and needed attention: on arrival the doors to balcony would not open, fridge was not working, extremely noisy bathroom fan (it screeched loudly and continuously every time bathroom light was switched on), shutters between bathroom and room were hanging on one hinge, shabby stained carpet. Having stayed in the hotel in 2019, where we used the restaurant extensively, we were disappointed in the poor quality of the hotel restaurant food and exorbitant prices. The hotel is on a steep incline and cobbled in places. Would not be suitable for less mobile people despite a minibus service running from the bottom of the resort to the top. Staff are lacking in charm and their unfriendliness borders on rudeness at times.

Hairdryer was quite old and useless, TV was super small actually it was a monitor but most people wont expect to watch TV in room probably, Shower cabin has no protection on the floor for slippery, everyday when we took shower it was super slippery, and no teeth brush / paste in the room, be ready for this.

All nice people. Nesli Sahin at the front desk and the valet parker were extremely hospitable.

The hotel is fantastique !!! From the staffs , the sea view, the quality of the sea, the pool, and the our bedroom !!!Perfect breakfast and diner with beautiful romantic terrace !!!!The hotel as one of the best quality of sea to swim !!! I had chance to swim twice in morning with turtle !!!

Fantastic! The structure of the resort is between old beautiful mansion and modern resort. The access to the sea is fantastic, the view from our room is lovely, the restaurant for breakfast and nice, you will love it... a place to go.

Staff minimal English, challenging to communicate but they try their best to help.

Beautiful place , gardens and style wonderful, Ferratt pool attendant was brilliant, and young girl sorting the restaurant payments was wonderful, can’t remember her name ,

The staff hardly spoke any English, and could all do with lessons in how to communicate with people who are you’re customers, often when at breakfast or lunch they would just stand about not knowing what to do ! Would come to table without menus and would point to QR codes on tables when there is no wi-fi ! Just need someone to show them how to interact with customers!

We stayed at this hotel for three days. During our stay, we used their valet service for our rental car. Unfortunately, the valet driver damaged the front of our vehicle. When we requested to view the security footage, our request was denied.I cannot recommend this hotel due to the poor service we experienced.
